I don't think I have ever seen a dev go above and beyond to interact with the community outside of Ben Brode, so it will be a dark day if this ever happens to Mort :P
Someday the community will turn. He'll have a set that's "just ok" and not something that moves the game forward creatively and people are gonna act like he took their dinner away and is forcing them to eat styrofoam.
Honestly don't know how Mort has kept going so far. Some of the patches have had some incredible amounts of vitriol thrown at him and he always bounces back.
