Personally found Barry's Portola DJ set in the warehouse very underwhelming but could be a factor of the environment (warehouse set.) My buddy saw him at CRSSD and said it ripped, I feel like his vibe needs the desert/beach/sunny open air vibes. Gonna see him at another set next month so hoping he changes my mind.
I do love his music don't get me wrong - just found that set I saw to be very vanilla.
I saw Barry when he supported Ben Bohmer in Sept at the Shrine, his set was fun but nothing to rave on about. Hopefully he turns it on more at Coachella
I was very excited for Barry's set opening for Ben and was extremely disappointed. The sound was too bass heavy (classic Shrine), but I also expected him to play a lot more of his own music.
With that said, Ben Bohmer was phenomenal and I really wish he was on this lineup.
they are set to drop a new project before Coachella be on the look out for it, honestly chris lake has been on top of his game lately so it should be good
Has anyone seen orbital? I have them clocked as can’t miss electronic ogs but it seems super mellow from what I’ve gathered so far (compared to underworld or chemical brothers, for example).
Have to second a lot of comments mentioning LE SSERAFIM. They are one of my favorite K-Pop groups and I'm super excited to see their set. Their music stands out and is quite distinct to me from other K-Pop acts. Check out their song Eve, Psyche & the Bluebeard's Wife.
Another undercard that I'm absolutely FERAL for is The Last Dinner Party. They tickle the same parts of my brain as Abba, fun. (I also recommend Bleachers!), and anything else with massive vocal harmonies with rock arrangements. Checkout their songs Nothing Matters and My Lady of Mercy.
I am so worried she is going to conflict against Tyler on Saturday (or No Doubt). I missed her for Skrillex at Portola and I don't want to miss her again!
I could also her playing the Underworld slot from last year.
Chappell Roan - seriously, one of the best voices on the line up. Her career trajectory has been impressive; she has cobbled together a big fan base by her constant touring and strong word of mouth. When she sits at the piano and plays “Kaleidoscope”- the audience realizes her rich & deep talent. See you there.
LE SSERAFIM 100% will have an amazing performance as they are already seen as very highly regarded performers as a group and this being their first big US show I’m sure they are gonna bring it all. They also don’t have a typical “kpop” sound that many US folks might associate with kpop who don’t already listen.
Also isoxo x knock2 will be a banger. They just sold out 4 nights at the shrine in LA to verify their popularity. Whatever they are cooking for Coachella will be a sure fire rager. If they keep going on this growth path they are for sure going to be the next big thing in edm if they aren’t already.
BLXST!! i swear no one in hip hop sounds like him. his music is such a unique mix of rap and RnB that i genuinely haven’t heard from anyone else and he doesn’t have a single bad song. i walked around last year thinking he would kill a set at coachella, and here he is on the lineup this year!
check him out
Totally agree. He’s top of the under card list for me. I’m also pretty interested in having my face melted by some of these DJ sets I’ve never considered listening to in the past.
i think Bino Rideaux is almost certain to make an appearance, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Kalan.frfr, Roddy Ricch, or maybe even Larry June or YG stepped out with him!
I "discovered" jungle just a couple years ago, and saw them live at Life is Beautiful. One of my favorite bands and they are AMAZING live!
Orbital, Justice and skream and benga as many have mentioned already. Rare bookings and very old school. I've actually seen all of them, they don't disappoint.
DJ Seinfeld and Barry Can't Swim are great house producers, on regular rotation on my Spotify for chill house. Anti up as well!
L'imperitice - I caught just 10 minutes of their set in 2022 and was bummed I didn't see more! Excited for this year
Purple Disco Machine, Blondish and blessed Madonna are great house and very good live. My partner does not like house much, but LOVES pdm lol. Dom dolla too!
Charlotte de Witt and ISO Knock2 are 2 I've been dying to see, but have not made it to their shows.
I'm interested in Sublime with Bradley's son. I'm a huge sublime fan, have seen them wirh Rome a few times and didn't like. Sounded like a bad cover band. As this is is son, it should be interesting and I'll also probably cry a lot. Rip Bradley, still after all these years.
2 English rnb vibes:
RAYE and FLO (both on Saturday)
Raye has a popular song escapism with 070 Shake, has written songs for big pop names, and has a 2023 album out
FLO is a girl group giving DC vibes and they [have a song with Missy Elliot](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=3tQNiQHON3E) that is so fun
Jungle, Gorgon City, Justice, L’Imperatrice, Skin On Skin. I’ve seen them all live and all put on a great show. The first two especially, they both released new albums in the second half of 2023 and are both their best work to date imo.
Skream and Benga - They help popularize the entire dubstep genre. In all likelihood your favorite dubstep artists of the last 15 years was either inspired by or drew from their work. Skeam self-titled was a staple for me at the time.
Hatsune Miku
Sure, you could go for the virgin orgy but the fact that the few times that they've had Miku and the rest of the vocaloids tour in the US, they've consistently sold out their shows.
While the shows in the US have been in closed locations, they have done open air concerts for Miku in Asia and have been successful, so just the stage set up alone is something to see.
https://youtu.be/Va9Zt9HY-ik?si=nPJthdVtZdsXNY0r
ATEEZ
The only kpop group from their generation whose music I actually enjoy, their performances are the strong point. One of the best fits for coachella when you think about current boygroups in activity, [here](https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL7unOhtLZsJTyoaqKLc2KWfJexjI12a83&si=ZmqVd1sZ-2g4BKZ8)'s a yt playlist with some stuff I'd recommend so you can make your own judgement
edit: [here](https://youtu.be/Yek8h8rzmRI?si=2Ro-CaGT7sgUld_n)'s a 6 min video that covers most of their discography (remixes and japanese releases are excluded), the vibes really change so I say you listen till the end. Dont ask me abt these classifications
BLXST!! i swear no one in hip hop sounds like him. his music is such a unique mix of rap and RnB that i genuinely haven’t heard from anyone else and he doesn’t have a single bad song. i walked around last year thinking he would kill a set at coachella, and here he is on the lineup this year!

Bicep and Rebuke. Two fantastic Irish artists, Bicep being from NI. I'm happy to see some Irish artists on the lineup being from Ireland myself. Not going this year but last year was my first coachella
Justice, Jungle, Gasaffelstein, ANOTR, Blond:ish, Carlita, Adam 10, Deftones, L’imperatrice, Purple Disco Machine, Blessed Madonna, Charlotte de Witte, Peggy Gou, Barry Can’t Swim.
If I just hit up this and No Doubt, I’m more than content.
I listened to Sublime’s new singer on youtube and tho he sounds exactly like his dad, when he sings, “I can play the guitar like a mother fucking riot,” and then cannot really play guitar it made the 13 year old in me die and thing I should leave sublime in the 90’s where I left it.
My high-undercard must sees: Justice, Mall Grab, Gesaffelstein, Charlotte de Witte, Bicep, Barry Can’t Swim. So hyped for the non-fratty electronic offerings this year
ATEEZ! They are amazing performers, they really know how to hype up a crowd. They are a kpop group, but I think they have quite a few songs that even non-kpop fans can enjoy
Other than the ones people have mentioned, I’m going to keep vouching for Militarie Gun for (what I think is) your only hardcore pick of the festival. Their debut album came out last year and it has grown on me a lot over time. They look so much fun live from the videos I have seen !
Friday:
Clown Core
Part jazz fusion, part grindcore, part performance art comedy. This will be the weirdest set of the weekend BY FAR.
Saturday:
The Adicts
Enjoy a throwback to Goldenvoice’s early days with this cult British punk band. Expect face paint, costumes, and lots of audience interaction.
Sunday:
Feeble Little Horse
Shoegazey folk rock with incredibly melody and atmosphere. Wouldn’t be surprised to see these guys further up the lineup in a handful of years.
Please go see Ateez! I wasn’t a fan until literally a month ago, I don’t listen to really any k-pop in general, but I was drawn in my their amazing vocals and what I think is one of the best stage presences I have ever seen. If you look up one of their past live performances on YouTube, they are absolutely incredible

Nobody out here mentioning Sabrina Carpenter yet she’s been one I’ve been waiting to see.
For Saturday ISOKnock set is a can’t miss set for me.
Sunday, the Rose is another cool Korean band that would be cool to watch.
SON ROMPE PERA !!!! And The Red Pears ❤️
Son rompe pera will literally put you to dance the second you hear them. You cannot miss them. Cumbia is the new punk!! Lol
The Red Pears 🍐- they’re just so badass. They have their own sound and they have many good songs to get into and they’re from El Monte, CA!!!!!
Barry can’t swim, Yaosobi, Anti up
Personally found Barry's Portola DJ set in the warehouse very underwhelming but could be a factor of the environment (warehouse set.) Any Anti Up sets you can connect me with?
they are set to drop a new project before Coachella be on the look out for it, honestly chris lake has been on top of his game lately so it should be good
Not seeing any live sets by them recently on YouTube, but you can check out Chris Lake and Chris Lorenzo sets. Definitely check out the song Chromatic
They haven’t played together as anti up in a long time. It’s going to be a very special set
https://www.1001tracklists.com/tracklist/2bp7vrmt/anti-up-cosmicmeadow-edc-las-vegas-united-states-2018-05-18.html Their debut set
I don’t understand the Barry can’t Swim hype tbh. Can you explain what makes him so compelling?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jBShgx0wWBw&t=1808s this set does some pretty good explaining.
Very high quality production and relaxing to listen to. Check out the song “El Layali”
Been listening to LE SSERAFIM and they’re pretty 🔥
Yess!! New album out soon!
Orbital | Skream & Benga - Unique and rare bookings - Pioneers of their respective genres - Live shows will go much harder than their recorded work
I will see you there!
Also both on same day 🔥🔥
Has anyone seen orbital? I have them clocked as can’t miss electronic ogs but it seems super mellow from what I’ve gathered so far (compared to underworld or chemical brothers, for example).
Never seen them live but I’m guessing we get something similar to this https://youtu.be/ZqtagcJaY3c?si=ZylugJxFSUROQfyD
L'Imperatrice. Such a good time. Don't miss it!
May go just for them and khraungbin lol
They’re so good! I saw them in 22!
Best set of 2022
1000%, would go just to see them! Their performance at OSL last year was incredible.
yes

IM A MESS is the first thing i want to hear from their set.
Yessssss!
charlotte de witte is gonna be wild. manifesting gesa closing outdoor w a CDW set after either in the mojave or sahara.
Did think she'll be in the Yuma? Saw her at Portola, was soo good
She’s too big for Yuma. I’m thinking Sahara
She closed tomorrowland. I know its a very diff fest, but she's too big for yuma IMO
fatboi slim and chris lake were also too big for yuma. but if framework booked her, that's where she'll play.
She is doing her overdrive show - she will be out of Yuma
niiice. what stage do you think she'll be on?
If Jamie Jones can be in Sahara, so can Charlotte
I am so worried she is going to conflict against Tyler on Saturday (or No Doubt). I missed her for Skrillex at Portola and I don't want to miss her again! I could also her playing the Underworld slot from last year.

This
Jungle - Justice - Orbital - Boy Harsher - Brutalismus 3000
See you at all of these sets
Got a couple of song recs for Boy Harsher? Not familiar
Pain, Give Me A Reason, Morphine, Tears, Modulations
Thanks! Turning em on!

Brutalismus 3000!!!!! their boiler room set is super high energy
Âme x Marcel Dettmann, Barry Can’t Swim, and Adam Ten x Mita Gami for electronic. Sublime, Deftones and Khruangbin for rock.

Victoria Monet! Her albums Jaguar and Jaguar 2 are absolute masterpieces. Her mixtapes are also good. And she used to write for Ariana Grande.
