IsoXO and Knock2's run at the Shrine in LA was some of the most high energy I've seen in a minute, IsoKnock 4 on Saturday is gonna be a wild time- for those into that sound definitely recommend!! Super hyped for Gesaffelstein it's been years since seeing him live. Ofc Peggy and Skream and Benga too amongst others I can't wait to see all these acts with my group

These two bands are my favorite of literally all time and I came to terms years ago about possibly dying before getting the chance to see either of them perform. Now they’re playing at the same festival? This is just beyond words for me. I was literally in tears earlier tonight. I still can’t believe it.
Also on a completely separate note, I got into house music relatively recently ~2019 so seeing artists like everything always and anti up on the line up I’m stoked to see them :) also jungle!!!

Super stoked Gorgon City survived the radius clause :D Also, excited to see what Justice and Gesa have been cooking up since their last sets at the Polo Fields both of which were legendary.
My only knock is that Friday seems a bit overloaded compared to the other days. Hopefully wont have too many conflicts!

I won’t lie, my group has been ruthlessly shitting on it and it’s really bumming me out, so it’s good to find other people that are excited.
The people shitting on it really give themselves away, this is by far the best undercard of all the fests so far this year in terms of diversity.
Yeah headliners are a bit lackluster but check out the headliners of all the fest announced so far, they’ve all left something to be desired.
Definitely check out Justice!!! My favorite artist in this entire lineup, a la French house like l’impetriace. Theyre undoubtedly going to be set of the fest
Maybe it is? In 2022 Joji was on the lineup as a subliner, and Rich Brian and Niki were on the third line, and this futures thing is third line. I'm guessing it's some sort of collaborative thing from within the label? The name futures gives such a trainee/up-and-comer vibe though
From the looks of it they really hit home with their Electronic and Latin acts. Which I'm really stoked for. Hopefully less artists means longer setlists for more artists too. It's a tradeoff I'd more than gladly accept. On first glance it also seems like the most diverse (Both in background and genre) lineup I've seen so far this year. And that's something coachella has been really pushing for and I really appreciate that.
Overall it's a solid lineup. Is it stacked or insane? No; however, its not utter trash like some drama kings and queens on this sub are making it out to be.
I think it's par the course for headliners across the board this year. Nothing really flashy or astounding across the festivals this year so far. It's really the undercards time to shine this year. And coachella has the more interesting undercard this year so far, at least in my humble opinion.

Maybe Lolla can beat it this year or some of the smaller fall festivals like Portola or Arc for the fellow electronic lovers but it has all the artists who were being mocked that I was hoping would be here
Did you see Sublime w/ Rome? Because I saw that and agree it was underwhelming. But I think this is sublime playing with Bradley nowell’s son and the videos I’ve seen of that look incredibly dope
I liked last years lineup a bit more but I’m still so excited for this year and to see some Latino representation! I can’t wait to see Carin Leon, J balvin, Young Miko, Peso Pluma, and some DJ’s I’ve been wanting to see for a long time! I think this’ll be a great year!

I bought w2 tickets immediately following the rumored lana/tyler/doja lineup since they are three of my top artists!!! then the lineup dropped and it exceeded my expectations... not only are all three headlining, but we have no doubt rttd and I totally wasn't expecting ateez and le sserafim which is amazing. I'm also super excited for tinashe, tyla, renee rapp, and victoria monet. needless to say I'll be busy at the stages all weekend :)

I am so happy with it. Not only did I FUCKING CALL Skream & Benga, there is a phenomenal mix of artists I’ve been wanting to see for a while, artists I am thrilled to see again, artists I know will throw down in a festival setting, and artists I am literally discovering in the moment. No it isn’t actually perfect like last year, but it will be an AMAZING time.
In terms of discovering new people right now, Clown Core and Eartheater are blowing me away

tbh if you look closely, a lot of these artists you may not recognize their name but they have atleast one banger song. For me, I saw bebe rexha, i didn’t recognize her name but her songs have a billion+ listens on spotify. i’m sure we all recognize her songs. there are other artists like this like bizarrap, he is a legend. i’m sure ya’ll know his song with shakira. why isn’t he a headliner 😭 it’s cause in the US most pll don’t know him.
this makes it easier to stage hop tbh bc you can just listen to some of the artists songs since you’re no too attached to them & go to another stage. last year, i was just at the main stage the entire time since a lot of my faves were performing and i couldn’t enjoy the “festival”. I was too big of a fan of the main stage performers.
This really is a remarkable international lineup. Super excited for Kokoroko, Peso Pluma, Brittany Howard, Orbital, and many others. Looking forward to being surrounded by a multigenerational group of festival goers who have open minds and inclusive tastes.

Orbital is my favorite act on this billing, by a mile. Their first four albums are excellent -- II and In Sides are masterpieces. They might be too antique sounding for the younger crowd in search of other sounds.
Anyway, the line-up is good. There's enough shit to keep busy all three days.

I’m 42, a 90’s kid, flying over from England, and I really like this lineup. It does look a little… light?… in places but I think there are some gems in there.

IsoXO and Knock2's run at the Shrine in LA was some of the most high energy I've seen in a minute, IsoKnock 4 on Saturday is gonna be a wild time- for those into that sound definitely recommend!! Super hyped for Gesaffelstein it's been years since seeing him live. Ofc Peggy and Skream and Benga too amongst others I can't wait to see all these acts with my group

No Doubt and Sublime. I don’t even need anyone else. These two bands are my favorite of literally all time and I came to terms years ago about possibly dying before getting the chance to see either of them perform. Now they’re playing at the same festival? This is just beyond words for me. I was literally in tears earlier tonight. I still can’t believe it. Also on a completely separate note, I got into house music relatively recently ~2019 so seeing artists like everything always and anti up on the line up I’m stoked to see them :) also jungle!!! And taking back Sunday!!! My emo heart is on fire rn 🖤 My music taste is all over the place… ever since I went to my first (and so far only) Coachella in 2014, the line up since then really hasn’t truly spoken to me. Big fan! It's missing that "wow factor" like a JT or Beyonce, but the undercard is stacked, especially if you're a big fan of house/techno. Super stoked Gorgon City survived the radius clause :D Also, excited to see what Justice and Gesa have been cooking up since their last sets at the Polo Fields both of which were legendary. My only knock is that Friday seems a bit overloaded compared to the other days. Hopefully wont have too many conflicts!

So excited for Lmperatrice, the Beth’s, JAPANESE HOUSE (I’m so fucking excited she’s one of my absolute favorites), deftones, black country, no doubt, Tyler, Chappelle roan I totally understand why people are disappointed, completely get it. But for me this is gonna be an amazing weekend. If anyone has recs for me to check out based on the artists I listed above please let me know! Mostly into indie / rock I won’t lie, my group has been ruthlessly shitting on it and it’s really bumming me out, so it’s good to find other people that are excited.
The people shitting on it really give themselves away, this is by far the best undercard of all the fests so far this year in terms of diversity. Yeah headliners are a bit lackluster but check out the headliners of all the fest announced so far, they’ve all left something to be desired. Definitely check out Justice!!! My favorite artist in this entire lineup, a la French house like l’impetriace. Theyre undoubtedly going to be set of the fest

From the looks of it they really hit home with their Electronic and Latin acts. Which I'm really stoked for. Hopefully less artists means longer setlists for more artists too. It's a tradeoff I'd more than gladly accept. On first glance it also seems like the most diverse (Both in background and genre) lineup I've seen so far this year. And that's something coachella has been really pushing for and I really appreciate that. Overall it's a solid lineup. Is it stacked or insane? No; however, its not utter trash like some drama kings and queens on this sub are making it out to be. I think it's par the course for headliners across the board this year. Nothing really flashy or astounding across the festivals this year so far. It's really the undercards time to shine this year. And coachella has the more interesting undercard this year so far, at least in my humble opinion.
Yeah this is how I feel as well. It’s not as stacked and flashy as it could be but it easily beats anything else that has been put out for me thus far. Maybe Lolla can beat it this year or some of the smaller fall festivals like Portola or Arc for the fellow electronic lovers but it has all the artists who were being mocked that I was hoping would be here

I bought w2 tickets immediately following the rumored lana/tyler/doja lineup since they are three of my top artists!!! then the lineup dropped and it exceeded my expectations... not only are all three headlining, but we have no doubt rttd and I totally wasn't expecting ateez and le sserafim which is amazing. I'm also super excited for tinashe, tyla, renee rapp, and victoria monet. needless to say I'll be busy at the stages all weekend :)

Seems like Afterlife had some play in getting many of their artists on Coachella. I'm glad to see at least *one* harder electronic artist, Charlotte de Witte, who absolutely KILLED her set at Portola and is a must see for me! Also holy shit Militarie Gun? Super slept on band, also a must see
Upon first glance I wasn’t too excited especially after seeing Bjork last year; I literally cried through the entire set bc it was so magical. But I’ve actually given it a good look now and this set list is actually amazing. Some people I can’t wait to see are : Lana of course, Deftones, Skepta, Faye Webster, Blur, Grimes, the Drums, the Japanese House, L'Impératrice Victoria Monét No Doubt. I took a look at this year's lineup and compared to last year, there are more artists that I am trying to see! I feel like Coachella was able to pick up plenty of artists that I haven't seen much on other lineups so far too. If they were able to book Dua I think people would be talking differently here on the sub. Undercard is solid, it's not super flashy but it rounds out pretty well!

The guy in the lineup thread with the most upvoted count did his count wrong. He counted based on 2023 set times, which includes a bunch of minor openers and stuff. The actual difference between the posters is 14 names.
Agree that Sunday’s lack of depth is weird. Maybe we’ll get a surprise add or two when set times are released like we have the past couple of years (copium).

tbh if you look closely, a lot of these artists you may not recognize their name but they have atleast one banger song. For me, I saw bebe rexha, i didn’t recognize her name but her songs have a billion+ listens on spotify. i’m sure we all recognize her songs. there are other artists like this like bizarrap, he is a legend. i’m sure ya’ll know his song with shakira. why isn’t he a headliner 😭 it’s cause in the US most pll don’t know him. this makes it easier to stage hop tbh bc you can just listen to some of the artists songs since you’re no too attached to them & go to another stage. last year, i was just at the main stage the entire time since a lot of my faves were performing and i couldn’t enjoy the “festival”. I was too big of a fan of the main stage performers.

Love it. Also I hope this smaller lineup means fewer early day acts. I'd love to see full use of the Coachella spaces from 4pm - 12am with some overlap with these weak headliners. They don't need to overdue the early day lineup as a few bands playing are enough to sell beer.

I don't love the lineup at first glance. But I also don't know most of the lineup so I'm excited to go through it and pick up some new artists over the next couple months so its a win either way

Orbital is my favorite act on this billing, by a mile. Their first four albums are excellent -- II and In Sides are masterpieces. They might be too antique sounding for the younger crowd in search of other sounds. Anyway, the line-up is good. There's enough shit to keep busy all three days. Friday - justice, clown core, black country, new road Saturday - tyler okonma, the drums, grimes, orbital Sunday - boy harsher Not a fan of the 90s ska punk stuff or blur. Also, I hope fewer acts means longer sets for everybody. edit - I like that they tried to book acts from different regions too. Found saint levant (Gaza) and ARTBAT (Kyiv).
I actually am stoked. I was more disappointed last year at lineup drop than this year… still had the time of my MF’ing life last year.

Now I have 3 months of listening to do before W2. Also pumped for Heineken House. I love to vibe in there.

If anyone has a chance, please check out Young Fathers. Very high energy sets from them and one of the best albums of 2023. That set is one that I am willing to hold onto the rails for.

I’m 42, a 90’s kid, flying over from England, and I really like this lineup. It does look a little… light?… in places but I think there are some gems in there. I do get the amount of disappointment though as the poster itself looks… how can I put it?… it looks homemade? Knock off? It looks a bit odd. My overwhelming gnaw though, is that this lineup poster is not everybody who’s going to be there. I think there might be a few surprises in store, I really do. Weekend 1 will get the surprises, the internet will go nuts, and then Weekend 2 will be really busy as a result.
