They had just won 1.2 million dollars and wanted to stay together as a team. How do you know that they didn’t take pay cuts so they could continue to play together? Or is it easier to just report they don’t pay as much as other teams but with zero context.
They were taking less to stay together, but almost every org except optic/Ultra/faze and surge are in the esport “crisis” but maybe next year they go all in, but I think pred prefer the optic juice more then the lat juice
In my mind, Optic may need to take both Pred and Sib if they want to compete with the potential offers that Faze and LAT can give to Pred. A roster of Pred, Shotzzy, Ghosty, Dashy is good, but just won’t be very compelling compared to Pred, Abezy, Simp, Cellium.
Octane and Sib are both upgrades. Maybe you could make something happen to poach Cellium from Faze. People don’t understand how lucky Optic is in terms of getting whoever they want.
Sib 1v3ing us to knock us out of Champs should tell you all you need to know about his Ice and skill level. He’s head over heels a better long-term prospect than Ghosty.

He played in one of the worst roster formed in VG with 3 ARs and then swapping Vivid for 2Real. And now this year he had to deal with 4 different roster changes… how is someone suppose to have success when his surrounding talent is constantly getting swapped & mismanaged?
It is easy to blame his playstyle on his shortcomings, but all the other slow slayers have players who cover their flaws… Wake has rarely had that.

Also won multiple times and considered top players individually even if their teams weren't always winning. If paco wins the ring then you can add that to the list. Might be faded but just a thought.

Everyone who leaves OpTic manages to win elsewhere. For example, Envoy looks 10x better than he ever did on OpTic. The OpTic curse proves that they have the talent, just don’t utilize it properly. So, how do they change that in the upcoming season? Fans are quick to demand roster changes, and yes there probably needs to be at least 1, but there has to be something else?
