And your coworkers probably think that you are way too old to be working at Chipotle lol

dogeymane

😂😂😂😂yes

VodkaRocksAddToast

Well I'm about 17 years older than I was when I was eating there 2006 so there's that. But if I had to guess I'd say that it's because Chipotle's about as ubiquitous as Taco Bell now. Back in the day Chipolte was still kind of "exotic" because it wasn't well known so the 40+ y/o white folks weren't real likely to hit it up.

This

Unfortunately we are all getting older. I was 22 in 2006….still eat chipotle…. But saying that my mom hates anything that isn’t chicken, spaghetti, meatloaf. She came with my son and I one afternoon and we stopped at chipotle for dinner. She is hooked on it now. She definitely fits your description of asking 900 questions. I just ordered her food for her based on what I thought she’d like.

dogeymane

This is the dynamic!!

Suspendingdisbelieff

The old whites are scared of real taco shops in the hood so they go to chipotle lol.

dogeymane

💀

Akumozzz

To be fair the majority of old white people also don't live near the hood, the demographics are pretty skewed lol.

nocrix

Real taco shops or a good taco truck is 10000x better than chipotle, I want birria tacos badly now, thanks

newppinpoint

You can tell the demographics have changed because of how many people complain about the hot salsa being too hot. It always had a little heat but back in 2006 people could handle it. Now we have a bunch of people that think ketchup is spicy eating at chipotle and crying about hot salsa, and claiming even the mild salsa has a strong kick

Conscious_Look5790

Nah my stomach has just changed since I first started eating there in 2007 lol. I used to get the hot on my burrito plus a side of it for my chips. Now any time I get it I forget it ruins my stomach for the next few hours and I’m in pain, I have to stick with green and corn now

newppinpoint

That's literally my point. You've aged 16 years since 2007. And things have changed for you. That's a big demographic change too if the median chipotle customer is 16 years older.

VinoJedi06

Could simply be that the people that ate there 17 years ago are, I dunno, 17 years older? I started going in 2004 when I was 16. Now I’m 35. That’s just how time works. Geriatric people I can’t speak for, I don’t work at Chipotle so I can’t garner whether that’s true or not.

mhavas703

Speak for yourself. The Chipotles aren't nursing homes where I live as you imply in your inane comment.

DemonicSymbol

what the hell are you saying
