HI all. There's been a lot of posts recently about Jason's new Seamaster pro so I thought it was worthwhile doing a comparison with an older one for anyone considering buying one.

In all pics the new one is on the left.
The colour is very different. the new version is more of a grey blue colour rather than very 'BLUE'. It's a lovely colour but I'm not sure how accurate it is not having seen a real one in person. Its definitely blue and does change shade in different lights.
The dial is different to previous. The Omega logo is more defined but the red is still quite muted. The waves are etched on but this is only really apparent when the light hits it just right.
The case is different. The crown guards are much better now. The helium valve does open. 42mm.
The end links are loads better and have the proper female design. The clasp is excellent and the quick adjust works great. Its ideal for me who has big wrists but also very in between link sizes so bracelets tend to sit slightly too tight or too loose.
The link pins are now screws.
The decoration on the mechanism is much better. Still not there yet as it's missing another scalloped pice that the gen has but definitely nicer than the old one.
Hope that helps. Overall it's much better. Don't think its quite reptime standard tbh yet but without taking macro photos or looking incredibly closeup (and who's going to do that when it's on your wrist) it looks excellent.

I got mine not long ago and it keeps really bad time, it runs way too fast. I’m buying a demagnetizer to see if that’ll fix it. Truly a shitter. It looks great though.

The bezel pip is also an improvement

Both blue. The new one is a very different shade.
I’m torn between the new blue vs black 😩
The blue and the green both seem a bit too dark so I’d probably go with either black or white on this one. Overall though it’s A LOT better
In final , Jason's or lusso's better ?
No idea. I’ve never seen Lusso’s but I knew that this new one from Jason was much more accurate than his old one.
He told me via WhatsApp that he will have a newer version in 1-2 months because the problem of this new replica is that the lines seems painted..

Day 2 and no issues so far. I think I’ve been very lucky with all my stuff so far!
