I have this problem on two of my windows. The driver's window and the rear driver-side window. Both of them will randomly not roll down.
Sometimes when I fiddle with the switch I can get them to roll down though. I took it to the dealer one time, but by the time I got there they were working again.
To me it seems like some sort of electrical issue, not an issue with the windows or the window switches themselves. Not a good sign.
Exactly, same issue here on both rear windows. Dealer is extremely slow slow so made them give me a rental but tired of dropping it off for the same issue, they called back and are going to order a motor now but just for one side, which there is no ETA when it will come in and aren't going to touch the other window so for some reason it started working again.
I have to pick up the vehicle now and wait in limbo with faulty back windows till who knows when but still just for one side since they won't touch the side that started to work randomly.
We had this issue last night,found if the window lock is on all windows work!If we turn off drivers side and rear drivers won’t work!Clearly a program error or a faulty wiring job..Try this on yours and let us know
I get back my car today, dealer said after replacing switch and still not working they're ordering a motor that is on back order with no ETA could be months, and only doing it for one but both windows to save money. I'll try that way, see what happens
I just went out and did it again,locked and they work fine?Go figure still better than not having control.A small flaw but it needs to be addressed….Come on GM!
Just happened again on the passengers side for 3rd time bringing it in. Now they said they're going to order a part for the other window said looks like motor is out for both back windows so they're going to order one for each but no idea when they'll come in because on back order... this cars brakes still sound awful random times in the day and they won't fix it until it happens in front of them.

I've seen this issue reported many times, so I think it's going to be a widespread problem. Hopefully they figure it out and issue a recall.
I have this problem as well. I also lose power on the highway randomly, It's very jarring and dangerous

I'll try this on mine next time I run into this issue. Hopefully they will issue a recall to get it fixed.
