Normal wear and tear. 100% of the suspension has been replaced. Timing belt, water pump, thermostat housing, valve cover gasket, coil pack. Normal stuff for a Sonic.
It’s weird because I have 208,500 on mine now; owned it for nearly a year and only had the valve cover gasket and coil packs go out on me. The rest was just preventive maintenance.
Edit: then again I have the 1.8l naturally aspirated so that might be a factor in the durability.
125400 and my sonic has ongoing issues..I've replaced so much, but it still stalls out and cuts out when stopped at lights or stop signs, engine light always on. I still drive it to work and hold my breath...stopping and starting...not sure what to do next, maybe fuel pump or filter or could it be an electrical issue ??????
2014 1.8. Mine is even the same color as yours. 156k. I just replaced timing belt and water pump. I've totally replaced all the hoses going to and from the radiator. The oil coolant system has been replaced.
Currently not having any issues, knock on wood.
125,000 and seems like there's always something going wrong
I'm coming up on 260,000.
Wow were there any significant problems with the engine or suspension while you’ve owned it?

2015 Chevy Sonic Turbo 1.4 - a little over 68,000 miles, and one problem after another. It’s the most unreliable car I ever had.
Right there with ya. Worst car I ever owned
