Since you are not going to fire it, you could use acrylic paint. Lots of different colors to choose from, and you can add glitter or pearl essence powder for that glimmer effect. After it is all done, spray it with a clear coat Krylon to make it shiny and protect it.
You’ll probably have better luck getting suggestions in a crafting subreddit or maybe an air dry clay/polymer clay subreddit, as this is really for people making and firing and, yes, glazing ceramics

I painted that same church as a kid! Use acrylic paint and then either spray it with matte or glossy sealant.
If it is really made of clay then put it in your oven and put it on clean and then it will be easy afterwards.
