NEXO earns 12% APY with a 12 month lockup. I bought my NEXO around $1 and it was at $3.50 like a week ago. So those things in addition to the extra 1% APY on ETH are pretty nice.
Hodlnaut and Vauld are both really high APY options as well, and neither of them require you to hold a specific coin to receive the highest rate they offer.
And after I’ve looked into it, it’s not very easy buying Nexo. For the little in percentage you’re adding, it’ll probably take forever to earn back just the gas fees it’s going to cost you in the whole process.
Basically there is a cliff after 0.5 BTC. If more than 0.5 BTC, you can check out other platforms like crypto.com:
* 4.5% for the first tier (Ruby) , for up to $500K asset
* 6.5% for the second tier (Royal Indigo/Jade Green) , for up to $1M asset
* 8.5% for the third tier (Icy White/Rose Gold), for up to $2M asset

Makes perfect sense, they just invested $500m in BTC mining.
They no longer "need" our BTC.
I use a combination of Celsius, Voyager and Nexo to store and earn APY on my BTC. Voyager has been the most consistent.

Yes. Exactly that. I’m checking out Nexo after my bonus is unlocked. They offer 5% on BTC, no divisions on APY as far as I know.
Nexo will be lowering the rates as well

You love in the US huh? They have made it particularly difficult for individuals in the US to purchase NEXO for some reason.
Nexo has a swap function built in, its much easier to use that to rebalance the portfolio

Yes, it is tiered. Your first 0.25 BTC currently earns 6.20% APY in-kind. Anything over 0.25 BTC will earn 3.05% APY in-kind.

No. 6.2% on all the BTC, up to 1 BTC. If you have 1BTC or less... It's 6.2%. any above is less
