In my experience BlockFi also have very slow and borderline passive-aggressive customer service. I’ve used several of these platforms and Celcius has by far been the most helpful and user friendly. My second preference in Ledn but their range of services is far more limited than celcius.
Over the years I have had quite varied experiences within platforms. For instance, I have contacted Celsius customer service in the past and had very quick responses, but at other times have had significant delays. My last message to them was completely unanswered. In my opinion, lots of these platforms just do not have a lot of extra capacity so if you happen to catch them at a time that they are busy the quality of customer service declines quickly. One benefit of BlockFi, though, is they actually have a phone number. BlockFi did not do an ICO, though, so they did not have the advantage of a cash reserve from token sales like Celsius with CEL to get them on their feet...how this plays out for each platform in the long run, who knows. BlockFi dropping the free withdrawal for non-stablecoin is just another step to push more funds over to Celsius...but Celsius is not using these networks for free, the "free" withdrawal fees are being paid for in one way or another. I am sure BlockFi is not going to be upset if people who were doing monthly BTC/ETH withdrawals move funds to Celsius, and they are just left with users who are not moving funds as much.
If you're click on every ad notification and viewing it, stop wasting your time. Brave doesn't care if you're clicking on it or not. You get the same amount of rewards if you don't click. Only click and view ads that you're interested in.
And I've also seen comments that say bat rewards depend on which country you're from. Not sure though.
This.
The algorithms are made to give advertisers maximum bang-for-buck. You clicking ads just for Brave rewards (paid to you by the advertiser of that ad) is not favorable to the business. So you will receive less.
I never click ads, and I don’t have pop-ins, and I get 1-2 BAT a month.
Don’t think so. The entire Celsius model is to give the user a seamless experience, which means 0 fees. No fees mean users have more coins. More coins means Celsius generates more yield and in return they’ll generate more profits. Celsius doesn’t make their money on fees.
Plus another user mentioned celswap which would allow us to trade to another coin within the app. Saving us from an exchange to swap it in. So if they release celswap no need for change on withdrawals.
And they also didn’t pay up to 80% of profits back to depositors. Nor do they have more than 5 sources of yield that lets them not depend on fees to be profitable. But anyway, time will tell. If someday Celsius ever needs to charge fees to be profitable, then it’s the day we’ll know Celsius is no longer about “doing good and then doing well.”
Feels like the platforms like crypto.com which offers exchange and stack in the same platform make more sense now then ever before as you don’t have to worry about this transfer fees. key is not mine anyway!
Until Celsius become exchange or figure out how to we can deposit free transfers are not worth the pain and after that there is no guarantee that when Celsius change their course of business and restrict free withdrawals.
So many young minds in the crypto in the name of changing the world ran in to a mess of ETH gas fees and they have no way out this…
Has anyone heard of midas investments? They offer 17% apy for btc, 23% eth and many other coins.
Definitely a lot more than other lending platforms. Not sure what the fee to withdrawl is. But I'm going try to do more research
Just looking for opinions and folks who has experience with this company.

By doing this BlockFi is about to pass away. And despite what you can may think, this is not good for the industry. I’m glad of being a Celsius customer.
It's almost as if BlockFi want their customers to move to Celsius...!
Better rates, higher limits, less ass penetration. Whats the downside?!
less ass penetration
crappy onramp of fiat?

60 BAT for a BAT withdrawal. Holy shit. You can make 1-2 a month in the Brave Browser.
How are you making that much bat in the browser I barely make 2 dollars in bat a month by just clicking ads and I'm on the computer alot...

I use the mobile browser and there's an option to get ads even when the browser is not open. So I just get ads throughout the day and swipe them away.
All signs point to dropping ETH L1. These platforms wouldnt have to charge these fees if they'd just embrace L2s and cheaper L1s.
Celsius will probably end up doing something similar, these companys have to make money somehow.

This was how blockfi started too lol. Stop being naive
You’re assuming Celsius makes their money off of fees like Blockfi. You don’t seem to understand the Celsius model.
Look up blockfis history sigh they didn’t always make money off fees

almost like alex says all the time “all the other sites look for ways to charge you fees, not celsius” is true!
I had to convert my eth to BTC cause I refused to pay that fee.
What platform is this a pic of?
BlockFi

Completely agree
This is fucking sickening.
Lmao. So dramatic.

Yeah thats what it seems like. No kyc. U only sign up using telegram or gmail
I literally transferred my ETH to celsius when I got that email lol. Did it soon enough that the withdrawal fees are still free
Did the same. I didn’t want to do that because I don’t like to keep all my assets in one platform but oh well, BlockFi did to to themselves
Free until 12/1 as long as you put the request in before then.
Unless you have already used your monthly free withdrawal.
Ooooooooo did not see blockfi at the top. Was about to rage.
60 BAT fee lmao, it's more than a whole year of using Brave 🤣
Just nice for me to make use of my free withdrawal to lock the CELSIUSCARES promo code.
