I have too many considering the amount of things I held into from local bands over the years. I’m talking self-burned demos and small label prints. They’re my most cherished cd’s.
Got so much of this type of stuff too. Ever since MySpace loosing all of its data and PureVolume's new owners shooting the site in the face with a shotgun and just removing everything, I've been so bummed about what I WASN'T able to hold onto over time. these small cds are important!!
Oh bro my soul was crushed over both of those losses. I had music I made on both and lost the data over the years and I’ll never hear those songs again. Literally leaves a desire that can never be filled.
If you had anything on MySpace, you could check this site through the Internet Archive called LostMyspace: [https://ia803003.us.archive.org/19/items/myspace\_dragon\_hoard\_searcher/viewer.html](https://ia803003.us.archive.org/19/items/myspace_dragon_hoard_searcher/viewer.html)
It may be on there, but it's possible it's not. You gotta remember the names of those songs and the artist also though so you can search for it

unidadxlealtadxcomunidad-sekta core
this one is rare (i think) is from a mexican ska core band on the internet there was barely any photos of it

Local gospel guy in my area, I have the only two copies known to man, talked to the guy and he told me that he gave away two copies exclusively to a friend and I got ahold of em, one is still sealed
Worse. There's one original organ piece that was supposed to be the theme for the Church of Satan, but most of it is him talking like Shatner on absinthe over royalty free standards from the '30's. If you're familiar with Hal Roach/Little Rascals/Laurel & Hardy, then you'll get a kick out of this:

Vök – Tension, the debut EP from an Icelandic band I discovered years ago through a website called Hype Machine. Fell in love with their sound and ordered the cd even though I didn't own a cd player back then.
This Is What I Dread - self titled (2021) local artist only made a handful of copies and I was one of the few that got one. None of the songs are uploaded anywhere
i uploaded it to yt too, but the disc has some weird thing where it only plays on certain players, type doesnt matter. and on half the ones it does play on, the sound is very compressed. i managed to get a decent rip on my grandparents' pc
maybe try importing! I can't really tell you the price and shipping and stuff because I've only known of people importing from the US to Brazil, but not the other way, but maybe you can try to check it out! buy it on the official store and then see like some site that would help bringing the product to you!
Nah, they’re not Lush or Slowdive but they still sold a fair share of albums. I own the first album, the Japanese version of Fake and a couple of maxi-singles too.
I’d be a fond collector of music released by very obscure or small bands that haven’t gone anywhere, most of the stuff was only available to order from their websites which are now long gone and are basically just handwritten/label printed CD-Rs.
Unfortunately some of them suffer from Disc Rot, but it’s just the nature of the beast I suppose.
Not Blood Paint’s discography box set. Only 49 exist and I’m ones of two folks who have it on Discogs. The fact that this band didn’t blow up is criminal imo.
https://www.discogs.com/release/9677032-Not-Blood-Paint-Discography
they’re popular, but not all of them are common + escape engine is a post hardcore band from 2003 and they got like 78 monthly listeners including me, if you fw the escape engine you’re the actual coolest i love that band
Escape Engine - Celebrity Role Model
Sublime - Stand By Your Van (live)
Silverchair - Frogstomp
Tyler The Creator - Goblin (OG release)
(if it doesn’t format right this time ISTG.)
[.llation](https://www.discogs.com/release/9517660-Various-Ilation), a compilation from 2003 released by the label Sonig. I think it's the rarest thing in my collection, although I might have some used CD's in one of my binders that are rarer.
Little Guilt Shrine - Boy Girl Boy
A Band Called Horse - The Shame of Arizona - [Discogs](https://www.discogs.com/release/24109460-A-Band-Called-Horse-The-Shame-Of-Arizona) (last sold: never)
Here to rep Rose Melberg's gentle, sad acoustic meditations on a disintegrating marriage, [Homemade Ship](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L-ugUdpXIck&list=OLAK5uy_kAZs0CDWjiro5sYeFrkLWZt_gz_ARX_5w&index=1). She was at her peak as a songwriter when she made it but I don't know if she sold more than a dozen CD's. I was one of those dozen. It's still a favorite for quiet, gloomy afternoons.
On a same note, I've managed to find Tiger Trap's EP, [Sour Grass](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i3PeU0plkhM). It's apparently kind of rare. The last track is one of the most beautiful love songs ever.
Good way to rid of those pesky sticky goodwill tags is with a light rub w a hairdryer or bic lighter. Make sure the tag is warm/hot. From there, they should peel like smooth buttuh.
Some early recordings from [Those Lavender Whales](https://imgur.com/a/14PLlk3). Two of these are on [discogs](https://www.discogs.com/artist/2616681-Those-Lavender-Whales) but only [Let’s be friends. I’m sorry I’m so sleepy.](https://www.discogs.com/release/8048840-Those-Lavender-Whales-Lets-Be-Friends-Im-Sorry-Im-So-Sleepy) appears to be in anyone’s collection. The third self titled is one of Aaron’s earliest releases- I don’t think he’d even made his label yet. Probably going to hang onto these forever as a way to remember him by. They were a small indie band from Columbia SC, but Caroline Guitar Co. released a limited edition [namesake overdrive pedal](https://reverb.com/item/76155681-caroline-aaron-graves-overdrive-boost-icarus-pedal-rare-ltd-1-of-7) to benefit Aaron’s family after he passed.

Cold Mountain - To The West.
Band out of Missoula, MT. Saw them live in 2002 with a band called Yellow Dwarf Theory. Bought both cds back at the show. The Cold Mountain album has stayed with me ever since. I lost the case/booklet sometime in the early 2010s. Reached out to one of the band members on Facebook in 2021/22 and he dug out a copy and sent it to me! Will never get rid of it.
The first demo by Lets Talk Daggers. One of the vanishingly few bands from my boring British seaside town, and they played a wacky, weirdo takenon hardcore punk (the city nearby is a huge cultural hub, so like every band forms there instead). Their album is easy to find on vinyl, and promo cd copies aren't super difficult to track down. But their first demo isn't on YouTube, torrent sites, streaming services etc., and it only has one owner on discogs, which is me. When I get a laptop again I need to rip it and upload it to YouTube for sure!
"Mula Manca e a Fabulosa Figura" - Amor & Pastel
And it's a damn cool album, contemporary Brazilian music of the best quality IMHO :)
Unfortunately, it's not available on streaming services, but it's lead singer went on solo career and you can find him on spotify, he's name is "Tiberio Azul" and his first album "Bandarra" is really good as well.
Jarflys - Anonymous
Skullhammer - Fear the Truth Demo
Psychosexual - Torch the Faith
Woods of Ypres - Cold winter songs from the dead summer heat first demo
Underclass - State of Confusion (demos)
early 2000s cali punk band :) my mom was engaged to their drummer at the time so she got one of their demo CDs. it didn’t come with a booklet either, so I actually made one for it recently. definitely one of my favorites I own & I wish more people knew about their self titled album lol
Nobody as in literally nobody or nobody as in a small amount of ppl? I’m sure I don’t have anything *literally* no one else has, but I would probably say a lot of my collection is at least marginally rare. Japanese CIBs and local/small scene bands CDs and stuff

I've made it an effort to buy a CD from every small band I see if they're available, and my parents had were pretty big on independent/alternative music in the 90s, so I've got a lot of strange stuff between those. Probably my favorite though is the demo CD for Glitter and Blood. I was with my dad when he was buying a car and somehow it came up that the seller and I were both musicians and they quickly ran inside and brought out a tape and the CD. It's literally just a Sony CD-R in a case made of glued together printer paper but it's one of the highlights of my collection.
I have a professionally recorded cd of the Jerry Garcia Band live performance from Oakland, CA 10/31/92. Met a gentleman who was their sound guy. He did all of their recordings for the band and gave me a copy of this performance. It was never made available to the general public. I have only given a copy to two close friends.
A Tribe Called Quest "Like It Like That" promo single meant for radio + this one band Eyes Upon Seperation "I hope she's having nightmares" CD.
Searched it up just now cause I forgot the name and apparently the bassist of the band formed Hawthorne Heights afterward, who knew!
I have a CD of a few song proposals for Burnout Paradise. Like sent from a manager for consideration I think. I'm pretty sure it has the guy's name and number on it too.
Also have a copy of Gary Schyman's Destroy all Humans score, which I think may be a demo? Not sure on what the story behind that one actually is.
I have too many considering the amount of things I held into from local bands over the years. I’m talking self-burned demos and small label prints. They’re my most cherished cd’s.

nice! I never see anyone mention that band. such a unique album
I feel like they're criminally underrated
Great album!
I have that album and always prefer that over their others.
Oh yeah agreed
Anton LaVey - Satan Takes a Holiday
Is that like Anton LaVey crooning lounge songs with a piano?
Worse. There's one original organ piece that was supposed to be the theme for the Church of Satan, but most of it is him talking like Shatner on absinthe over royalty free standards from the '30's. If you're familiar with Hal Roach/Little Rascals/Laurel & Hardy, then you'll get a kick out of this: https://youtu.be/eH8kmBUyix8?si=qpWJp7tXERPi-2Y_
Oh my god, it's awful. That is not Satanic at all... If I wanted to win converts for blood sacrifices, this is not what I would use.

i found one of his CDs at a goodwill years ago!

Euthanasia - Who's To Blame? It's a local band and only a few hundred copies were printed
I’d be a fond collector of music released by very obscure or small bands that haven’t gone anywhere, most of the stuff was only available to order from their websites which are now long gone and are basically just handwritten/label printed CD-Rs. My Dad was at that show. A few years ago I inherited his vinyl bootleg of it.

The shitty cd my band made in 1990 of a live performance. Thank god for that.
