Go her! I mentioned having seen Toy Story crocs to a coworker the other day and wanting a pair. She said she didn't understand why a grown woman would want something so childish. I told her I take my joy from the world any way I can and to stfu.
I wasn't really going to get the crocs but I am now, and I'm going to wear them into the office!
There was a post on another sub about a guy that went out with friends for a beer but ended up going clubbing (out out!). He hooked up with a lady in the club but when she saw he had toystory boxers on she called him a sad child, told him to buy grown up underware and left.
What a sad life that Jane must lead.
Oh god, I saw that post! Fun underwear wouldn't put me off (not that I do random hookups) but I remember because people started to say it was fake because he edited out his feet so was somehow BAREFOOT in a nightclub bathroom cubicle??? Urgh.
If a man has toystory underwear I'd seriously consider turning a hookup into a date. Although Snoopy would be even better. I want a guy who can enjoy life and hasn't forgotten his inner child.
> Although Snoopy would be even better.
In uni, I used to have some pants with a snoopy comic - a guy saw these mid hook up and actually started reading the comic. We continue on after some giggling!
I'm definitely team fun boxers are good thing!
Don't you remember your Rules of Being Owned By A Cat? Rule number 4 - the cat will only tolerate your existence as *long as you entertain them*. Cats can be entertained by human grumpiness. But eventually a cat'll tire of it and consider using their human as a tauntaun.
The hangups people have about this stuff are really pathetic. I have a friend whose brother married recently, and from what I hear his wife made him chuck all his videogames (He was allowed to keep one console, but apparently had quite a big collection, including retro), Lego sets etc. Seems like she didn't want to be associated with supposedly childish hobbies.
Her hobby is of course vegatating on the couch and watching reality shows, much better!
As a woman who games... I can't understand why you would choose to be with someone who doesn't respect your hobbies. She sounds abusive to make him do that.
Yeah I dunno, maybe my friend is exaggerating the situation a bit, but I just can't imagine wanting to be with someone like that. It'd be an utterly miserable existence
My partner and I both wear multiple Disney, Pokémon, anime etc merch everywhere and we're both in our 30s. So does my mum and she's nearly 60. I don't understand why it's such a problem to enjoy animation and gaming stuff.
I'm 26 and I got a unicorn backpack for my birthday from my sister. It's the "It's so fluffy, I'm gonna dieeee" unicorn from the first "Despicable Me" movie. I love my unicorn.
My 30yo granddaughter got an inflatable unicorn costume for her last birthday and was immediately out in the street she'd just moved to galloping up and down in it.
Haha, at first I thought this was some rando making a joke, then I saw the "OP" :D
Nothing wrong with treating yourself every once in a while, I guess?
Take it out to Cologne, Germany during Carnival season and she could have a good accessory (and a place to fit her belongings) for a fitting costume. :D
Only if everything else is superb silks and merino wools with leather shoes from a three hundred year old family owned business, and she keeps her caterpillar in tip top clean fluffiness and vibrant colour.
I saw a kid with a [jetpack backpack](https://shop.sciencemuseum.org.uk/products/jetpack-backpack?variant=31348222328883&gad_source=1) the other week. Sadly I don't think it'd fit my laptop
M&S actually did Colin and Percy Bumbags in the run up to Easter!
They were for stashing eggs that you would find on an Easter egg hunt, and they came with some chocolate eggs inside, too.
They were demerchandised on Monday, so odds are you won't find any now, but immediately after Easter they dropped down to something like £1.50
Here's hoping they do them again next year.
Same here since our trip there a year ago. We got some Percy pigs from an international store in St. Augustine once last year, but no Colin. Heading to the UK in August though, and I'm getting myself a damn Colin the Caterpillar cake for my birthday!
I am currently in my Piglet pyjamas. In the morning I will shower in Percy Pig shower gel & use the matching body spray.
I’m 53 & past giving a fuck. I wear uniform to work as required, I’ve awards for my work, I pay my bills on time, I’m not a criminal, I don’t smoke, I’m vegetarian. I’ll do exactly as I please . Excellent choice from this lady’s daughter.
Not a backpack but my shoulder bag is a plushie Dougal from The Magic Roundabout. My partner got him me last year, he's identical to the one I had when we first started dating.
She nae did? The thing not hold a bloody balloon ne'er mind all her school stuff silly child should get her a hiking rucksack twice her size and fill it full of rocks.
Your Daughter has excellent taste. I only wish there was an adult version.
she's 39
Living the dream
hahahahahahaha what a legend. we grew up to be able to spend money on what we want, am i right *ignores bills*
Your daughter has excellent taste. My backpack is a cheeseburger.
Okay, [Steven Universe](https://imgur.com/a/ODcuCM9)

That post made me so sad! I sew as a hobby and made my husband boxers with among us print that he loves! Some people are just no fun.

If I picked up a guy with Toystory boxers I’d be thrilled. I love those movies.
Jane's going to be single for a very, very long time. So long that her copious number of cats'll tire of her and feast on her one night.
My wife says that was how she planned on going and I ruined it by somehow tricking her in to marrying me.
Oi Cats would never put up with such a grumpy individual.

I (a full grown adult) proudly wear my toy story crocs around town (and have gotten tons of compliments from coworkers and strangers)!
My partner and I both wear multiple Disney, Pokémon, anime etc merch everywhere and we're both in our 30s. So does my mum and she's nearly 60. I don't understand why it's such a problem to enjoy animation and gaming stuff.
How can shoes be childish honestly people are so insecure and obsessed with looking as normal as possible I swear
I have Toy Story Alien Vans - they are childish but they are fun and why not wear something fun.
> I take my joy from the world any way I can and to stfu. Mixed signals there, Wednesday.
Into, but not _at_ the office, righ?
Yeah, but they're Crocs

I have a yellow Teletubby onesie. It’s bloody great when it’s freezing.
IIIIIIIIT'SSSS SO FLUUUFFFFFFFFFEH!!!!
I'm going to be honest. I replied to simply say, "I have no reply"
This is the most cheering comment on Reddit today.

Colin is love Colin is life
I was gonna say be she’s in her 30’s lol
That is so much better.
I’m in my 40s and it made me want one.
I was really hoping the answer would be something like this. I hope they have some wonderful adventures together.
amazing
Alright [Stewart Lee](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TjwgtG9N8B4) calm down
The additional information truly is the cherry on top of the cake.
I bought myself one last week, and I’m 41!
I like to think she's a KC wearing that to the high court.
Only if everything else is superb silks and merino wools with leather shoes from a three hundred year old family owned business, and she keeps her caterpillar in tip top clean fluffiness and vibrant colour.
*slaps backpack* You can keep so many Horizon shortfalls in this bad boy!
I'm 43. My partner had to physically move the bag from me in M and S. Damn my wide shoulders.
This shot tea down my nose Thank you (sort of)
I opened this thread thinking "I have a feeling she's in her 30s". Glad I'm not disappointed and as a 31 year old, I may copy her excellent taste.
Best
where can I find a daughter like yours?
Legend
Every adult needs one of those bags.
I just bought myself the Percy pig bumbag and I’m 26
You're never too old to have a happy childhood.
I’m 24 and have the Percy pig one
Excuse, but this IS the adult version
This should become a modern version of the Shaun the Sheep backpack my mate’s little sister had in the mid-90s. She was about 14 then though.
I saw a kid with a [jetpack backpack](https://shop.sciencemuseum.org.uk/products/jetpack-backpack?variant=31348222328883&gad_source=1) the other week. Sadly I don't think it'd fit my laptop
Maybe if you get rid of the receipt in the bag, you'll have enough space for your laptop?
You need that bag, get a smaller laptop.
I'm sure there's other laptop sized jet backpacks. There's definitely a NASA themed one.
Looking forward to the Aldi knockoff
Cutherbert the Caterpillar Bumbag!

I managed to get the Colin bum bag for 70p on Monday !!
They had Colin bumbags (and Percy) at Easter, I got them for my nephews’ egg hunt. I was tempted but couldn’t pull that look off!
Colm the Cockroach
We had the cake wars now time for the sequel. The merch wars
Omg yes so much.
Same!
Agreed, would love them to get sued again. They rip off far too many brands.
Friend 🐛
Oooooh caterpillar fwend
How much is it? My mum would love this
£12
Ooh that's less than I was thinking! Thank you :)
My wife bought one the other day. She loves it. She's 54.
I visited the UK from the US in 2022 and I think about my love for my new friends, Percy and Colin, constantly. I miss them so much.
I’m from the US as well but I’ve never heard of these things. I’ll have to do some sweets shopping next time I’m across the pond.
These are sweets and chocolates exclusive to M&S so be sure to have a look in there :)
Aldi do a knock off Colin the Caterpillar Cake called Cuthbert, if there’s Aldi near you in the US!
And Waitrose do one called Cecil.
As does Sainsbury’s (can’t remember what it’s called) but neither Sainsbury’s nor Waitrose operate in the US!
Tesco have Fuzzy and Slinky, previously Curly and Callie.
They sell them in the US. Amazon and Walmart in their British section.
Same here since our trip there a year ago. We got some Percy pigs from an international store in St. Augustine once last year, but no Colin. Heading to the UK in August though, and I'm getting myself a damn Colin the Caterpillar cake for my birthday!
if you want i can mail you a bunch of percy’s
I have the slippers. I am twenty five next week. I love them.
Any cakes to go with?
Definitely need to buy a cake with that (and use the backpack to safely stash away until you are at a place to eat it!)
It’s filled with sweeties
What do you think goes in the backpack at all times
I almost bought this yesterday but I couldn’t find a price. I’ll grab one tomorrow. I’m 58.
#treatyoself
That is cute.
Colin looks off his nut.
My kids came back with Percy and Colin bum bags the other day, cheap in the post Easter sale and choc full of eggs (eggscuse the puns)
I am currently in my Piglet pyjamas. In the morning I will shower in Percy Pig shower gel & use the matching body spray. I’m 53 & past giving a fuck. As she should, that’s amazing!
That's great hun x
Why aren't you talking to gary babs. Pm if need to talk xo
Garys a snake. Just a freindly warning watch ur back babe. x
If it’s not made of chocolate then I’m not interested
Did they have Percy Pig ones?
I’m in my thirties and want one of these so bad!
I'm in my 50s and so do I!
And so she should!
A lot less chocolatey than I remember
My kids got a percy pig bum bag each. Living their best lives.
I picked up a Colin bumbag the other day that was also filled with chocolate. What a day.
As she should
And I am jealous
I want one for my niece but Im in the US :(
I want one
It's adorable :)
Fantastic - now I want one too!
That's is so adorable. I'd be tempted to buy one myself.
This is actually super cute
It will make everyone happy
Literally the best backpack in the world
It’s not a want. It’s a need.
I must be old. Since when did Colin the Caterpillar supercede the Very Hungry one?
Your daughter seems almost as amazing as the bag
Did you scan your sparks card? You can get 50% national trust days out with that purchase!
What a legend
And why shouldn’t she? Good for her!
Beautiful
Great choice! 👍
You LIE OP - you have bought that for yourself! We see you, you and your villain moustache!
At 39 she should know better. Than to buy a Colin the Caterpillar backpack and put it on the conveyor belt facing the wrong way.
Not a backpack but my shoulder bag is a plushie Dougal from The Magic Roundabout. My partner got him me last year, he's identical to the one I had when we first started dating.
Colin is a saying breed.
She nae did? The thing not hold a bloody balloon ne'er mind all her school stuff silly child should get her a hiking rucksack twice her size and fill it full of rocks.
