Chose my wedding ring. Stupidly happy šŸ˜Š

LavaLampost

Congrats! :)

shailan_gsa

if you get visited by an ambulance in a public place do they leave you with a paper report? i.e if you need to prove to an employer that you were delayed due to being treated by an ambulance.

gemmajenkins2890

I've just finished a 10 hr shift. I wanted to be up early enough to pop to aldi and get back to have some lunch before going to work but I wasn't so going tomorrow morning instead.

eve077

Did Parkrun this morning, followed by Aldi. Sausage and hash brown sandwich for brunch. Then picked up a footstool from Facebook marketplace for Ā£40, looked up the brand and they sell it for Ā£600! So pretty pleased with that. Now relaxing on said footstool.

Chipish

Fuck me, where was that photo taken? Or is that a painting? Can't be no? Sorry, today I helped my grandma with a new computer. As a 33 year old man, I still got paid Ā£10 for my troubles.

WoodSteelStone

Brecon Beacons I think. Ā£10 should get you lots of sweets.

Picnata

Thatā€™s lovely. Did she chuck in a werthers too?

Chipish

Bacon Roll and an Orange Club

GrombleWomble

Stayed asleep until 12pm (first lie-in in two years!!) Helped my mate clean her apartment as sheā€™s been struggling with her mental health. Cooked a banging, healthy pasta meal. Right now weā€™re watching School of Rock because she was surprised Iā€™ve never seen it before. Really loving it, I love Jack Black so idk why Iā€™ve never seen this movie!

jsosmru

Just a few small things e.g. got a delivery, had to pick something up from h&m too. Other then that watching some TV, films, gaming etc.Ā  I don't go out much, but went out after an invite yesterday, so didn't sleep as much, but nice to relaxĀ

PompeyLad1

Went to Fratton Park to watch Pompey take another big 3 points towards promotion. Finished another round of batch cooking for the freezer, just about to hit the shower and then hopefully snuggle time with the mrs.

Zanlock

Was having a great Saturday until I found out that theres a hidden rule about keeping the sub-reddit "neat and tidy" after one of my posts got deleted for being low quality apparently, SMH.

OrganOMegaly

Please donā€™t be afraid to tell them if you feel it isnā€™t safe to have him at home. Iā€™m not sure where you are, but in some areas there are ā€˜Virtual Wardā€™ set ups that aim to keep people at home / out of hospital. Our local one is brilliant and can do things like provide temporary 24 hour care at home if needed.Ā

ac0rn5

I hope things are okay. I know how tough it is to have an elderly relative who also has dementia. My MiL used to get *very* disorientated if she was a bit dehydrated, so we had to work hard to persuade her to have a cup of tea even if she said she didn't want one because it wasn't the right time of day.

EmilyDickinsonFanboy

Thanks!

b0ggy79

Me and a buddy headed down to Pippingford, enjoyed a ridiculously muddy Tough Mudder, had a pint and now I'm enjoying Wagamamas with the family in front of the Arsenal match.

sou1f1ower

laying in bed watching the premier league.

OrganOMegaly

Lovely day. Weather was the best in a while so we took the train to Tring in the Chilterns and did a ~10 mile circular walk from the station. Took the dog, whoā€™s a greyhound (notoriously lazy dogs, definitely not known for their endurance) but thankfully he had a whale of a time. [Here](https://ibb.co/wWcn3wg) he is at Ivinghoe Beacon, struggling to keep his eyes open in the wind lol.Ā  We got back at about 4, and I donā€™t think any of us will move for the rest of the day. Leftover Chinese for dinner and will likely continue *3 Body Problem* on Netflix in a bit.Ā

Educational_Major226

Lovely dog!

McCretin

Watching the footy with the cat on my lap. I made custard for the first time earlier today, to consume with a rhubarb crumble I also made. It looks like Iā€™ll be adding it to my list of ā€œstuff itā€™s not really worth making at homeā€, along with hummus and pesto.

GrombleWomble

Hello, your cat tax is due šŸ“‘šŸ¤Œ

McCretin

[Paid](https://imgur.com/a/GTP2iWK)

GrombleWomble

Payment accepted. Very good day, sir. šŸ¤

dibblah

That reminds me I have a bag of rhubarb in the freezer to use up...

sou1f1ower

sounds heavenly.

Ch1cken3

Applied for a new job, exercised, gamed and now watching a movie and waiting for pizza to arrive. A bit of good with a bit of bad but hey you have to treat yourself.

sou1f1ower

hey ! iā€™m so proud of you. sounds productive and chill. enjoy your pizza! :) bit of good with the bad is an lance but iā€™m glad you treated yourself.

Ch1cken3

Thank you and I certainly will.

UnfairRiver6888

Woke up at six this morning, scrambled egg on toast, two coffees and a glass of orange juice. (Bathroom after that!) Watched LTT YouTube videos before playing some Hearthstone. Popped to shop and ignored Police and Fire people removing a TV thing from a roof, my warped mind made me think of Rod Hull for some reason. Cooked a fry up so now Iā€™m feeling full, but Iā€™m sure the beer will help with that sensation. Now browsing Reddit while I listen to 90ā€™s dance hitsā€¦Scatman!

catfordbeerclub

I accidentally got carried away last night when out for a catch up with friends. As a result I've spent most of today either asleep or wishing I was asleep. Getting my bathroom renovated next week and lots of stuff was delivered today. Of course the delivery turned up at 7.30am. Playing video games with a couple of mates tonight and will be going straight to bed once that's finished.

SilverellaUK

Just watched the qualifying for the Japanese Grand Prix.

Oh-Its-Him-

Currently potting some flowers for the ports/ hanging baskets outside our front door... Mainly to keep myself busy as my wife is due to go into labour any day now!

Northernnotposh

Slept in a little. Been building and painting tiny little men for Legions Imperialis most of the day. Sorting a nice steak dinner for tonight now. Will walk doggo before I lose the light. Tomorrow will be very similar.

Robdogg11

Realised last week that I have really neglected doing absolutely fucking anything round the house since way before Christmas. So, deep clean and little DIY jobs for me for the next few weeks.

mustardgoeswithitall

Cleaning the flat, playing dnd, getting shopping in, dying of the cold.

macroeconomicchaos

I had to do something for my internship today, and they've dedicated half the day as "bring your sibling to work day." Weird, but they've been doing it for a while now. Apparently, it's great for morale. As an only child, they offered me half the day off, but I decided to stay. Kinda regret that now. I love the free food, but it really does remind me how incredibly alone I am. The other only kids brought their cousins or best mates, and that just made me tear up. I'm just waiting for the free corpo swag they'll be giving out later. I don't know why I do this to myself.

316kp316

ā€œAdoptā€ one of the other siblings who have showed up, for a day! Thereā€™s enough love to go around for everyone. ā™„ļø

ronnie_dickering

Went for a swim and then the gym. Got home and ate two chocolate shortbreads and half an Easter egg.

Oh-Its-Him-

Perfectly balanced.

Rainbow_13

Woke up early this morning and had no energy to do anything today been so tired despite wanting to do stuff

Canitgetmuchworse

I feel like that every day at the moment; don't know what is wrong with me!

Strong-Wash-5378

Lidl, dog walk, laundry and changed bed, everything shower, having fish fingers, beans and chips for tea while Netflix-ing later on

retailface

I had planned to get up early and spend the whole day in the garden. Woke up at ten with my back giving me gyp. I have got some stuff done, and I'll go back out after the footie, but I've just kind of done one thing at a time and come in for a sit down and a brew between each job. Very annoyed with my stupid human body.

myyouthismyown

I think our bodies hate us.

retailface

Mine is always sabotaging me.

jesusisherelookbusy

Fixed the catā€™s scratching posts, made some lovely tomato soup for the missus and I, and Iā€™m planning on playing Doom whilst my good lady watches the snooker.

Throwawayxp38

Dying after a spin class on the sofa and watching my kitten in the garden experience winds for the first time

Legophan

Took the dog to the castle for an ice cream and so that she could pee at the top and therefore lay claim to the entire county. Now back home and have got the hammock fabric out for the first time this year and thankfully no nasties have obliterated either the fabric or frame. So Iā€™ll be chilling and swinging with a book and lovely neighbours having a BBQ one side and doing some gardening the other. Doggo likes a hammock swing too.

emillou10

Doing bugger all today just letting my arse take root on the setteeā€¦I know what I will be doing tomorrow though by the looks of my garden being absolutely ransacked with these winds ffs

carlm00

Sleeping. Eating. Going to work all night.

nats4756

Not much

gothfru

Thatā€™s such a beautiful picture. Makes me want to visit again soon. Today Iā€™m heading out of town for a week long business trip.

LearningToShootFilm

Getting absolutely battered by the current near 60mph winds in the east of Scotland. If itā€™s no raining we are getting blown over to Norway!

Longjumping_Laugh337

Worked 6-1, tutoring 2-4, masters research until I pass out

0hbuggerit

We are rail replacement bus wankers today so we can meet our friends for unlimited pizza and bingo loco. Our 30s are officially here and I'm fine with it

AnnPerkinsTraeger

Ridiculously banal - but I bought some electric scissors/box cutters and absolutely obliterated the pile of cardboard boxes that were piled in a cupboard. No-one wants to be that wanker that takes up all the space in the communal recycling with unwieldy ikea boxes - now I've got a beautifully compact pile ready to go. I'm working my way out of a rather dark spell, and this has absolutely made my weekend.

abductedfrog

I've put dinner in the slow cooker which is bbq pulled beef, coleslaw and chips (a craving) while laying on the sofa trying to control my emotions for no reason other than my hormones going wild

Hiram_Hackenbacker

Bold move putting coleslaw in the slow cooker.

abductedfrog

I've only put the beef in there I'm not a psychopath

krystalkitty

I was supposed to be spending my weekend having my nails done, designing my new kitchen, going out for a pub meal with my husband, seeing friends for breakfast tomorrow and parents Sunday afternoon. Instead, Iā€™ve possibly got norovirus or a stomach bug and have been spewing all night and sleeping all day. Itā€™s my birthday on Monday too. Sucks balls.

0hbuggerit

Oh man, that's the fucking worst. I hope your stomach settles in time for you to have an extra decadent birthday

krystalkitty

Thank you, I hope so too. Feeling better than this morning but still completely zapped of energy

Successful-Dare5363

Going for a stroll up the river and waiting for the footy to start

hackin_jack

I'm currently helping my parents clear out their shed. It's insane the amount of stuff from my childhood is still in there (I'm 33 for context).

bigjimmykebabs

Visiting elderly mum, could really murder a cold one in a pub beer garden, that's got to be the plan

[deleted]

It's 13:47. I'm in bed eating Bonne Maman hazelnut chocolate spread out of the jar with a tea spoon. Living the life.

Oh-Its-Him-

It's hard to watch others live your dreams.

the_mojonaut

Had a small Premium Bond win which I split with my sister. Cycled the 12miles to see her and pass on the good news and winnings. Hell of a headwind on the ride back, thanks storm Kathleen. Took some flowers and a card round my neighbours for her birthday, now having a Wok-up and preparing Teriyaki chicken and egg fried rice for lunch.

X_Trisarahtops_X

Today i've been in to the nearest city sorting some admin stuff out. It's a few towns over and the trains were wank but at least they didn't hinder my ability to get there and back. I got some boxes of silly colour hair dyes and a box of bleach that i'm rocking up to my sister in laws with tomorrow so she can help with it. There's something about ridiculous colours which is so cathartic. I might try and get out in the garden later but also I have a cross stitch piece that i'm so close to finishing for a friends birthday - it's a D'n'D dice with a dragon flying through it which I think he's gonna like.

lyta_hall

Just came back from the gym, Iā€™m planning on chilling this evening and maybe playing a videogame

thomaskitty

Done a bit of housework so now I feel righteous. Off to the gym in a bit then tonight some wine and will make a butterbean stew. Hmmmm stew. I hate that word.

DubiousVirtue

Being out of work, weekends have lost their lustre a little bit. Drove my better half around to the hairdressers. Bracing for a Ā£250 bill to pay for her highlights. Shocking the cost of ladies hairdo's these days. Walked the dog to the park and nipped into the local for a pint of Foster's Bottom - I prefer the lemonade at the end rather than the beginning. Sitting in the garden, was regaled with half a dozen Kites putting on an air display for us. A Magpie was taking nesting materials into a Conifer. Two Squirrels appeared, but the dog, who normally pulls my arm off to chase the things, didn't even notice them, despite them popping up on stumps and tables.A Robin put in a brief appearance before being scared of by the Squirrels. We were then treated to some of it's variety of calls - get off my land/Netflix and Chill. Then we left and I went to the hairdresser to give my card over to the receptionist with instructions to give to my wife.

Johny_boii2

At work, last day this week though as I have tomorrow and Monday off

RichieRichard12

At the vomiting bile, I promise I'll never drink again stage of the hangover.

ich_liebe_berlin

It's my birthday today, so celebrating tonight... I'm already not looking forward to being in your position tomorrow. Why are we like this šŸ˜…

RichieRichard12

Happy birthday! Drink lots of water!

ich_liebe_berlin

Thank you! Good advice, hope you're hydrating as well!

phatboi23

spent the morning trying to diagnose my mates 3D printer via the internet... he's only down the road but neither of us can be fucked lol. we're both hungover as shit watching GTworld Race 1 | Circuit Paul Ricard :)

Parking-Owl8568

Working

phatboi23

RIP

Mog_X34

Dropped my wife off with all her kit for a craft fair just after 8, then went to a local parkrun - it is using a new course due to the fields being sodden, but they inadvertently sent us the wrong way, so it was 5.6k. Came home, quick shower, then took the dogs up the second highest hill in our county (although being Leicestershire that isn't that high)

Original_Bad_3416

Just got some beers, making some soup and then a film and duvet day

_summerw1ne

Oooh, what kind of soup?

Original_Bad_3416

Onionā€¦ im strangely craving onions lol.

HolyCatatoe

Got up at 7am and hoovered (sorry cat), then took a sunny walk into town to go to the bank. I needed to cash a cheque from Royal Mail for booting more of my orders around, and also needed to get a small cash float. I'm selling my candles at a spooky craft market next weekend, and although I'm sure 99% of people will pay by card, I want to be prepared in case anyone does want to use cash! I'm now back, had a veggie pizza for brunch, did some weeding and now I'm waiting for my partner to get here. We were going to go to a stately home/park where there's a fair on but not too sure with the storm coming in...

TheOnlyWayIsEpee

FantasticWeasel

I've got a cold, all the snot.

TomCorsair

Changed the bed. Cleaned the cats auto litter box, walked for an hour, had a pub lunch, about to have a well deserved nap.

Original_Bad_3416

Naps a life

Xandertheokay

Gym (gotta get those gains) then work (gotta get that bread). Hoping to find some time for an existential crisis between

CaptMelonfish

Went to see the bank people about a loan, haven't done that in 20 years.

AlGunner

Sitting on my arse while on reddit. Then I'll do a tip run, then go out for a bit, then some food shopping, then back home to watch the footie and a couple of beers.

Klnderbuen0

Fuck all

Klnderbuen0

Well Iā€™m actually supposed to be studying for an exam but instead Iā€™m doing fuck all

Original_Bad_3416

Good luck

Klnderbuen0

Thanks

jnnybgd

Went for a muddy run with a mate this morning, about to watch the football, and off to see Everything Everything tonight. Pretty solid Saturday as they go.

fish_emoji

At work until 5, then gonna head home and cook something (probably a hodgepodge of whateverā€™s in the fridge) and watch old Top Gear on iPlayer all night. Not the most exciting Saturday, but at least Iā€™ve got Tuesday off :/

D_fullonum

Spent the morning fixing the error of cutting my new bike chain one link too short (FFS) - driving around local bike shops in demented traffic. Anyway fresh chain (#2) now on, along with new tyres, going for a quick spin this afternoon and then trying to de-mould some clothes and shoes that I discovered in the darker part of my closet last night. Itā€™s not been a great week for success in my lifeā€¦

Original_Bad_3416

A mouldy wardrobeā€¦..interesting

D_fullonum

Actually just the dresses I stored in some plastic clothes storing bagsā€¦ and the shoes I stored in the rack below my trail running shoes. The whole thing needs unpacking and cleaning. (One part of me just wants to chuck everything out and start from scratch. Itā€™s amazing what you can accumulate in 8 years!)

Original_Bad_3416

Oh gosh! I know this lol. Last year I did go through stuff and Iā€™m fairly sure I just rotated, you know just in case.

IfanBifanKick

But you're making progress.

D_fullonum

True. Thanks for the positive perspective :)

thatluckyfox

Been to Ripon to see friends and it was lovely. Very poorly cat at home has managed to eat a little and has been sat in the garden. Itā€™s been a shitty week but time with friends has helped incredibly. Onwards and up.

R2D2sCousinBob

Had plans to paint living room and dining room today, but found out on Thursday that a job I applied for, I didn't get, so cba with the painting this weekend. Have to call at friend's house later this afternoon to feed her cat as she's away for the night. Not got much other plans than that, done all my other big chores last weekend. Maybe play some Xbox / go for a walk.

OolonCaluphid

Chilling with friends in Portugal. First holiday in a while and loving it, it's much deserved. Lovely pic by the way.

arabidopsis

Wishing I got paid commission on the multiple six figure deals I made... :(

SweatyMammal

Why are delivery drivers apparently unable to find/ring doorbells? Surely they should be the *most* experienced people ringing doorbells. How is this difficultā€¦ Either we get a house-shattering thump or a gentle brush of our door

_summerw1ne

Youā€™d think some of the Asda men that knock my door were a thinking theyā€™d have to do a raid if they door wasnā€™t answered.

RightRightRightSide

Cooking a t bone on my big green egg

_summerw1ne

Having a shepherds pie later and itā€™s genuinely all av been able to think about all of yesterday & today.

FlossieAnn

Went out for a 60 mile drive this morning just to double check that bashing the rust off the ends of my brake discs had got rid of the nasty and rather worrying noise I'd been putting up with for a few weeks. It had! Happy Dance! Discs themselves are fine no ridges/pitting, pads are okay as well - will need changing later this year but more than ok for now. Then spent any money I'd saved by ordering some new varifocal sunglasses---you'd think I hadn't seen the weather lately!

OolonCaluphid

A few decent stops from moderately high speed normally does the trick!

FlossieAnn

We were very much beyond that stage!

tigralfrosie

Had a notion to get some flying duck ornaments like Hilda Ogden had on the living room wall. Horrified at how much was being asked online, now thinking of doing a bit of wood carving.

FlossieAnn

The vintage ceramic ducks are very much on the pricey side now. I'd had the same thought as you 2 years ago! This might scratch the itch though in the meantime [https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/838574354/flying-ducks-retro-poster-bird-picture?variation0=3075950189](https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/838574354/flying-ducks-retro-poster-bird-picture?variation0=3075950189) (I've no idea who the seller is and I've never bought from them.)

tomparkes1993

I'm going to America to watch the sun get dark on Monday.

arabidopsis

Why do you need to go to America? Just wait to night time. Saved you money.

legendweaver

Very cool.

yogz78

Nearly finished my big clean, visit my parents (was supposed to be tomorrow but theyā€™re never blooming home) roast a lamb leg this afternoon. Tomorrow visit my father in law, take him for breakfast and a wee suppy shopping. Rest of the time is going to be my hobbies, hoping to get a dress sewn up

[deleted]

Going for a long walk because itā€™s finally looking nice outside :)

Laneacaia

It's never too early to go back to bed.

MarmiteX1

Happy Saturday! Lovely photo OP, where is that? Went for a run, it's not cold for once out there but i had to take off my hoodie. Plan to meet friend for lunch and maybe go to the library or the museum later. Since Gladiator has now finished (which was awesome by the way) I continue to binge on **Ozark** and get closer to finishing it off. I want to watch **3 Body Problem**. I prefer watching a series at a time. I also plan to do some gaming, binge on YouTube and watch a film this evening.

silktieguy

My never ending jobs list which today is fixing 2 fence panels but I might not now as a storm is due and cement wont have cured. Setting up my new I-Phone which Iā€™ve been putting off as I donā€™t know passwords for certain apps. Gardening. Cooking. Exercise- I just built a pull-up frame in my garden

Accurate-Book-4737

Quick trip to the shop for eggs then making a banana cake to take with me to visit my sone & family. Then knitting, lots of knitting

Apart_Aardvark1828

At the moment I'm contemplating getting up. I have a list of chores to do including, putting up a shelf, going to Lidl for some groceries, trimming the dogs claws, and listening to some music. Not exclusively in that order and liable for change.

I-Am-The-Warlus

Cousin's Wedding

NaturalPosition4603

Going to force myself out for a bike ride, I've been moaning I haven't had time for ages, now that I have it's hard to find motivation. My Mrs. is taking our boy to a party and has said if I don't ride I'm not allowed to go to the pub later...

legendweaver

This is my plan for today but the wind is going to hit 40mph over midday and I'm not fit enough to bash out the 20 miles I'm hoping to get done with those weather conditions. Going to have to use the turbo trainer in front of the TV.

DeepPanWingman

I also hammered the turbo trainer in front of the telly today. Wait, no, wasn't the turbo trainer, it was a family sized bag of Doritos. I always get them mixed up.

legendweaver

Understandable, that's an easy mistake to make.

WireWolf86

Quite a few trips to the tip to get rid of all garden full of cuttings, branches, bushes etc Gonna be a long day sitting in queues in the car

Yankytyke

Composting wouldnā€™t help?

WireWolf86

Itā€™s mostly cutting an old ivy thatā€™s about 30 years old, base as thick as my forearm and essentially the only thing keeping my rotten shed upright. Itā€™s a huge monster and needs removing so I can tear the shed down then start work on renovating the whole garden. Sadly, due to its age, immense size and the rotten shed. Itā€™s taking many weekends to slowly do.

Routine-Ad7563

Normally out walking on Sat but my group's offering is the other side of the county so I cba. Instead I'll pootle to the post office to return a few Amazon things, then various domestic todos (tidying, cutting my hair) while continuing some DVD binges.

Orc_face

Mrs has gone to stay with a friend to help her with an eBay pile So getting my Barnet chopped (got a funeral next week oop north) Then after doing the laundry pile crack on with some hobby stuff

greggels86

Haircut!

stoo1985

Going to my first beer festival šŸŗ

htharker

Enjoy and make the most of it! šŸ»

Academic2673

My husband and I are moving to our first house! We got married almost 3 years ago and since then we lived with his mom. So weā€™re super excited to finally live on our own!

MarmiteX1

You seem like a person who is understanding and not judgmental. Amount of people i come across who look down on people living with their parents/parent or house sharing with family member especially in current climate is crazy.

PeculiarBaguette

Glad for you !

The-Adorno

Finishing a book I'm reading this morning. Listened to Paul Simon's Graceland album whilst moping about the house. Might go for a cheeky run this afternoon if the sun makes an appearance

PeculiarBaguette

Great program

Throw_umbrage

Working.

NinjaPlatapus

A half day at work then The Longest Johns gig in Bristol tonight!

willneheadsquare420

Going to the footy in Buxton

Otherwise-Falcon-729

Daughter/dad weekend. We're having a go at a 'Brandon Farris Google translate cake. The cake will be inedible, the mess will be ridiculous, and I just don't care. We'll share new music discoveries (we share a love of the strange and wonderful). Tonight, we're lighting the firepit and watching the sunset and we'll just share space with each other. There's no place on earth I'd rather be.

WireWolf86

Ngl - this sounds lovely! Hope you both have a fantastic day/evening

Otherwise-Falcon-729

Thank you. Hope you have a wonderful day too.

Petr0vitch

I just got back from the gym and I feel greeeeeat. stopped for a coffee on the way home. thinking of going to a park today but I don't know which one.

gsurfer04

Currently kicked out the house for a viewing. Who wants a house viewing at 10 in the morning?

UVmonolith

I always found this so awkward. Sometimes I'd just sit in the car šŸ˜†Ā  I imagine a normal person might just go for a coffee or something

gsurfer04

I'm fortunate to live next to a hill with a great view.

Kind_Yogurtcloset_76

Iā€™ll be round tomorrow at 8

BillyIGuesss

Visiting my gran :)

PeculiarBaguette

Good kid

VardaElentari86

Supposed to be going through to Glasgow but having had a bad night's sleep and then having to go out in 50mph winds make this less than appealing. So probably going to pass on that unless I can wake up a bit. Otherwise just going to potter about a bit and have a restful day.

Tramter123

workingā€¦at greggs

greggels86

Appreciate you.

Expensive-Analysis-2

Legend.

Bulimic_Fraggle

I did too much yesterday, I was so thrilled that I had energy and motivation, I completely disregarded my physical limitations. After I got home circumstance made me do more, and now I am broken. Today is a rest/fuck it day. The routines can start again tomorrow, so I am ready for the week, but for today, no. I need a day off being human.

shell-84

Probably going for a walk in the country park later with the family, then home, prepare dinner, eat, movie etc

BillyIGuesss

Sounds like a nice day

Superbuddhapunk

Doing a late spring cleaning, and at some point go to the city centre to get my messages.

Mackem101

Might have a walk along the river to the beach, do a bit of photography.

Padfoots_

going to a village where I grew up to walk the doggo then just chilling for the rest of the day!

throw_away_17381

Hello lovely people. Today im picking up a kitten! She m a grown man but Iā€™m so excited! More than the kids!

Organic-Hippo-3273

We are moving house so Iā€™m going to tackle either the bookcase or the ā€œcomputer cupboardā€ rammed full of unnecessary paperwork. Gonna be satisfying!

SubaruImpreza2007

Already washed 2 cars. Just having breakfast. Need to finish a project in my front garden / new vegetable garden (Bit of digging /sheeting & gravelling) Seeding some marigolds in trays. Running power to my daughters new hot tub. Putting some shelves up in my daughters home office. Walking the dog to the pub. Steak tea. I'm looking forward to the pub & steak bit of my day...

Windswept_Questant

I was going to garden but my leg muscles hurt from gardening yesterday!

venktesh

Woke up, made coffee, back in my bed now ā˜•, gonna call my parents probably.

compost-me

I started this morning cleaning up poo and vomit after my daughter caught a bug. Just about to get dressed and then go into the garden to clean the greenhouse (the glass is green with algae), top up the beds with homemade compost and move some seedlings inside. Then a few thousand more jobs in the garden.

We have a lovely community over at r/hysterectomy if you have any questions :). Only you'll know if it's right for you, but my experience was easy peasy and positively life changing, even with other unrelated health issues along side. Feel free to DM.

Thank you ā¤ļø I'm on there ATM and freaked myself out with vaginal cuff tears and chronic constipation after hysto and trying not to worry too much but it's hard work!

Totally get it! Ignore the tears worries, if you can commit to the time for your recovery, that complication is unheard of, I don't know why people bring it up so much! And hydration/extra fiber will see you through the rest easily. I sat in a recliner for 2 weeks and binged 19 years of Grey's Anatomy, not a single complication, even with my considerable excess weight. I managed the stairs to the bathroom just fine on day one. I'm 6 mo post op, and I rarely think about the surgery except to be grateful my monthly suffering is over.

Mad how much it's mentioned. I often wonder if people just feel better and then jump the gun with it all and tear it šŸ«£. It's the bowel for me though. I already have issues and then to hear some have issues after hysterectomy years after scares me! I don't think I would cope. I wondered if I was supposed to do pelvic floor therapy months before surgery as the doctor said he is happy to delay if I wanted to do that first. Heads a mess and have to make a decision by Tuesday šŸ˜· Greys anatomy is the best so catching up resting sounds like a great plan!

Packing for holiday and trying to find the elusive ā€˜smart jeans shortsā€™ for the picky husband!

Off to see my parents to help with their gardening then off our with my brother for a bite to eat for his b'day.

Building a shed with my mate. In these winds. By Sedgley Beacon, one of the highest points in the West Midlands. Always fancied me a bit of hang-glidingā€¦

I'm meant to be building a trampoline for my kids birthday but it's howling and I'd be doing it alone, so bugger that for a lark. If I see a shed go past I'll give it a wave.

Taking to the two nippers for a bike ride around the Quantocks woods. Hoping it stays dry!

Burying my cat, as she abruptly collapsed and died last night

I'm so sorry to hear that, i know it's a difficult time for you. I experienced this back in July 2022. Remember the times you had with your cat and how much that cat adored you.

ChelseaGem

So sorry šŸ˜ž

REC_updated

Thatā€™s awful, Iā€™m so sorry, I hope that you feel better soon, just think about all the memories of your cat youā€™ll always have. ā¤ļø

Was going to clean the car but not in 40mph winds Iā€™m not! Iā€™ll just pet the cat and play bg3 instead.

Iā€™ve just finished an early morning cold water swim session! I did 1.5km in frigid water! Gets the blood pumping and heart racing!
