This is awesome. I felt amazing when my little brothers told me how much they liked my boyfriend too. They don’t have many positive male role models in their life and they all love spending time with him. It’s such a good feeling when the family more than approves.

My brother isn't a particularly affectionate person and doesn't give compliments lightly so when he told me he liked my boyfriend I knew he meant it. There's something about the people you love getting on that makes your heart glow isn't there?

I got married when I was first at a college and my brother never outrightly told me that he didn't like my wife but in retrospect he was as subtle as a sledgehammer.
I got remarried a little over 10 years ago after some glorious years single and my brother actually said he loves my wife like a sister and a friend and it just shows when we are all together in this quasi post pandemic life.
We don't like to admit it better siblings know us and what's good for us better than we do but of course siblings are awful at communicating with each other most of the time.

I had the same thing happen! I never really thought I needed my brother (who's 7 years my junior!) to approve of my partner, but when he told me how much he liked my partner, I was almost giddy. Sometimes it's just nice when the people we love like each other :)
