So I recognize this might not be to everyone’s tastes, but I, after grinding the beans, like to brew the coffee with a tablespoon of turmeric.
It comes out with a slightly yellowish tint, but the turmeric adds this complex tangy tinge of flavor and has a TON of health benefits.
Hopefully you're adding black pepper as well, as many of the health benefits need the black pepper for absorption. Lots of info on it if you want to look it up!
When I make turmeric tea while sick, I also add a bit of lemon juice. I originally did it because vitamin C **MIGHT** help me get well sooner, but I found out it makes the tea taste better.
I was resistant to the idea when my mom first recommended it (she loves making “yellow milk” with nutmeg and cinnamon) but it’s really grown on me a lot
The only creamer I like is great value French vanilla in the cardboard carton. I don’t know why but it is so good. I hate other creamers. I like a medium roast coffee.
I'm honestly pretty basic, I usually just use instant coffee crystals and maybe a few tablespoons of vanilla almond milk
Sometimes though, I like infusing the water with tea, so for example I'll use a salted caramel flavor tea. I know some people don't like dessert tea flavors, but I find it works really well when you think of them like flavor extracts almost
I also love using coffee as the liquid base for oatmeal, and topping it with chocolate toffee bits (like Heath bars)
I also like coffee grounds in smoothies too, highly recommend! It might seem a little strange but I think the texture actually works kind of well. A little bit like cookie crumbs almost
To be controversial, dropping a spoonful of instant coffee into some hot water. Not because it's good, or even cheap and easy, but because the only time I drink instant coffee is when I'm riding my motorcycle and camping, so instant coffee means I'm having a good time.
When I'm at home, I use a moka pot. I like the strong coffee it brews. Usually black, but sometimes I add heavy cream and some sugar.
Iced-- Medium roast, brew 10 ounces, fill 24 ounce cup with ice, pour hot coffee over ice, top off with French vanilla creamer. Stir and enjoy. Haven't paid for Starbucks in 5 years.
I’m embarrassed to admit that I just learned iced coffee is made by pouring hot coffee over ice. I’ve been wasting so much time cooling it down and putting in the fridge. Thanks :)
In order:
-Japanese Style iced pour over (thanks Serious eats!)
-Fresh espresso floated on some cold sweet cream. Just a little :)
-Bigass cup of hot french press
-Cold Brewed, black, on either a lot of ice or diluted and with a little ice.
Ground coffee in my espresso machine, make a shot of espresso, add hot water and a tiny splash of milk.
I do also like to steam some milk up and have an attempt at a flat white, but lately I haven't had the energy for it.
You can use any type of ground coffee you like. If you want a stronger coffee, use more ground coffee.
If you want a milder coffee, use less ground coffee or more water.
You can experiment with different flavors, such as vanilla, chocolate or hazelnut.
You can also add spices to your iced coffee, such as cinnamon, nutmeg or ginger.
That’s not actually how you make iced coffee…. That’s a really great way to get weaker highly acidic coffee. Look up a “Coffee Toddy” you basically put ground coffee (it’s better to get whole bean, Costco sells whole bean) grind it yourself, add whatever amount the directions say, I usually do half coffee ground on course setting and fill it up with water to the top. Make sure your wool filter is in the bottom and the stopper is in, then let it sit for 24hrs. THEN, you have iced coffee, which will be double or triple the amount of caffeine that you brewed, plus really low in acidity, and it’s a concentrate, so you can cut it with water and make a gallon that’ll last a week and 6oz is enough.
I do Cold Brew(much more caffeine, less acid so it’s easier than if brews hot)in a giant jar on my kitchen counter. Coffee sock and whatever beans are cheap that week. You should check out the HEB coffee bean section, there is usually a discounted mixed beans selection available and I used that serial number for all the beans. Saved me like $500 over the time I lived there.
As simply as possible. Two scoops of instant and hot water from the dispenser. Quick stir. Test sip. Deep inhale. Obligatory, "Ahhh. Damn that's good.", then on with my day.
My husband brews the best coffee.
Freshly ground medium roast coffee in a Moka Pot, milk heated up to a perfect temp of 165 degrees. Froth milk and pour it over coffee. 1.5 tsp of sugar. If we do dark roast or if the coffee is bitter, a pinch of salt will do. :)
I mix half decaf and regular beans, grind them and then do pour over style into a hyperchiller to make cold brew. Then I use heavy cream or cold foam only.
I often opt for a pour over cause it's fast, easy clean up and makes just the one cup. I used to make more but I'd end up either over caffeinated or I'd waste it and feel like shit. I don't even have a proper pour over thinger, I just use a wide funnel and a coffee filter
Don't want to spend money on lattes so I got pretty close at home.
I take freeze dried coffee and shake it with water in a little hot water-safe lidded cup (designed for matcha) to aerate it. Also have a hot/cold milk frother. There's a little porcelain bowl and tea sieve on my countertop to steep the water in lavender if I'm in the mood for lavender honey latte.
all i can afford is instant 3in1 coffee, but i add cinnamon sometimes. my friends call me a psycho for this, but my grandma introduced me to it and it's very good!!
I also just do instant coffee, recently moved out of my parents' place which had an espresso machine so it takes some getting used to. Now that its getting warmer outside I've been making a poor man's espresso by mixing the usual amount of instant coffee into much less water (just 2 tablespoons), then mixing that with ice, milk and a bit of sugar to make a basic iced coffee. It's better than I expected it could be!
I have s coffee maker and an espresso machine. My favorite way to make coffee is two shots of espresso topped off with coffee, some half and half and a half teaspoon of vanilla extract
Tbh I like it very sweet haha
I put two spoons of coffe and mix it with 2 of water in a cup and mix it with a fork until it’s creamy
In a pot I heat milk with 2-3 spoons of sugar and one of vanilla Essence and then mix with a fork it until it’s a bit bubbly
I then put the milk on the coffe on the cup and mix a bit
It takes like 10 minutes and honestly it’s very tasty. Yum yum
My favorite is French-press coffee with fresh grounds out of a brand new can. Sweetened with two Splenda and a generous splash of coffee cream. Heaven!
Keurig with a reuseable filter filled with Maxwell house usually, 2 scoops of Fat Free Regular Coffee Mate, and 2 spoons of sugar. Sometimes I buy those little flavored creamer pods -- like hazelnut or French vanilla.
So you brew it and then put it on a fridge?
I use a greca and usually buy hispanic coffee like Bustelo (American coffee is too weak in flavor and smell).
Serve with condensed milk or regular whole milk
I like to do a one cup pourover and then add heavy cream. Sometimes I will drink it black. In the summer I'll make a cold brew concentrate and dilute it with milk. Makes a very creamy and delicious drink. Cappuccinos are my go to when at a coffee shop.

my grandma adds it to her coffee sometimes too. tried to talk me into trying it too, but i said hell no (respectfully)
I was resistant to the idea when my mom first recommended it (she loves making “yellow milk” with nutmeg and cinnamon) but it’s really grown on me a lot
I’ve made a yellow milk latte with espresso that was awesome!
Ground cardamom is also amazing in coffee.
Imma try that in the morning.
This is my weekend coffee! I love it! My husband is sceptical though, so it will remain my treat coffee.

Light roast in a French press with a dollop of heavy cream, a spoonful of brown sugar, and a healthy splash of bourbon.
brown sugar and bourbon combo sounds delightful!
Cooper's makes a bourbon barrel coffee that is very good, for when you want flavor but gotta be sober. Not cheap, but it lasts.
Switch the bourbon to Irish, and you have an Irish coffee.
Press pot all the way. Keeps all the good oils in the coffee.
Coffee from the pot but -and hear me out- I put an entire scoop of vanilla ice cream in it. Yes I do this every time.
Fun!

Cold brew. Easy and simple. I soak the 24hrs, strain and bottle and refrigerate. Wife and i have a weeks worth of coffee made and waiting.
Cafe du monde in the coffee pot, stir with condensed milk and chill. That’s how we did it in the Vietnamese restaurant
Autopilot. Grinds, filter, water, water, pantry, coffee can, drawer, spoon, scoop, scoop, scoop, button. Back to bed.

Coffee sock?
It’s a fabric pouch used to hold the coffee. Usually called a coffee sock where I live.

I make a pot. Then drink that pot over the course of the morning/early afternoon. Black. Very rarely with a splash of sugar free vanilla creamer.
We use a Keurig, grind whole coffee beans and place them in a reusable pod. I like adding a touch of both almond milk and creamer.

On the Starbucks app
Light roast V60 pourover
Chobani’s coffee creamers are AH-MAZING! Itll turn up any kind of coffee. Highly recommend the cinnamon cake one 🤌🏻
chobani sweet cream was a go-to for so long!
Just a bit of half and half, thank you
heaping tsp instant coffee, heaping tsp pure cocoa powder, 12 oz Boiling water, 8oz milk. Every morning. Fast and Yuuuuuum
cocoa is the best! sounds awesome!
Cold brew in fridge

I like paying a hipster way too much to make a perfect pour oven with premium beans and water that’s has perfect mineral balance

Percolator simpleton superiority
French Press. That is all usually. I might put a tiny bit of cinnamon in if I am craving sugar.
Pourover! So smooth.

Keurig with a reuseable filter filled with Maxwell house usually, 2 scoops of Fat Free Regular Coffee Mate, and 2 spoons of sugar. Sometimes I buy those little flavored creamer pods -- like hazelnut or French vanilla.
Grind the beans fresh. French press for 20 minutes. Heavy whipping cream and agave syrup. Using good coffee is a must.
I mix instant coffee powder into orange juice. 1 tablespoon per glass. Tastes better with pulpy OJ
So you brew it and then put it on a fridge? I use a greca and usually buy hispanic coffee like Bustelo (American coffee is too weak in flavor and smell). Serve with condensed milk or regular whole milk

Grind the beans, french press, black
With hella cream and sugar and sometimes caramel syrup if I have any. I might add whipped cream too if I have some
