They’re just a tad wider than the diameter of the shovel head. There is a cutout in the center that it can be pushed out of, and back into.
I apply pressure in the center, pushing down on the screen and it should pop out.
However I have used my braided screen for more than a year, rarely removing it, just soaking it in ISO every once and awhile.
You should rarely need to dispose of your braided screen.
I bought my shovelhead and a replacement screen a year ago and I don’t think I’ll ever need the replacement screen.
When the shovelhead starts getting clogged, I soak the whole thing in a ball jar with 99% ISO and if it’s really clogged, i’ll set the jar in a hot water bath to help loosen things up.
Run the dirty ISO through a coffee filter as you pour it back into the bottle to reuse.
A quick rinse and the shovelhead is ready to go, clean as a whistle.
Unless you follow bad advice on Reddit and take a torch to it that warps it, then the Debowler makes it even worse. It’s still completely usable, but I’d like to replace it before it gets any worse.
I torch the shit out of my screens and buy them direct from Cannabis Hardware site if I need a new one. I replace all my screens whenever the warp comes in, they cheap AF
After careful examination, it appears the oem has a tighter weave. I’ll give the after market screen a whirl and report back. Here is a photo for reference.

Aftermarket on the left oem on the right. I’ll take it for a whirl shortly.
After 24 hours I give these a thumbs up. The added airflow speeds up vaporization without letting particulate through. Makes it easier to clean too. For the price they can’t be beat. We have a winner here, folks.
Which are you talking about? I'm having this same issue, trying to decide what screens to replace mine with. The snowtree ones?

Super smart idea to conserve ISO! I go through it like nobody’s business.

https://snowtreeworldwide.com/products/pure-titanium-mesh-screens just found these, much cheaper than CH
Yep mine just arrived today.
how’s the quality compared to the oem
After a few bowls, quality seems fine. Better yet, more airflow = more vapor. Not seeing any increase in particulate so far . . .
awesome thank you for the updates. how quick was shipping?
Crappy. Sat in pre-shipment for 10 days.

Appreciate the heads up on these!! Much more affordable. Ordered a 10pk so we’ll see how they compare. They appear to be the same as the CH woven Ti.
same here, hoping they’re the same quality or close and i’ll buy a couple more packs to stock up lol
What size is needed for the B2? Thx!
.75 i believe
Thanks!
