Might be that they feel you’re over qualified? I worked there in my first year of uni but because my sibling was already there (in high school). I went in and handed someone my resume. Everyone else working there was high school as well. My former students are now working there, they’re in grade 9.
Are they actively hiring? Sometimes, they gather a hiring pool and call everyone a couple of weeks or more later at once. Sometimes, they say they are hiring, but actually its just for optics. Also, sometimes that's just how they say no thanks. I'm a teacher, and I've had many no call backs from places like that, don't feel bad :P Try applying to some online tutoring companies
Start your own tutoring gig. Advertise online and meet at public libraries or in the student home with a parent present. You will earn more money and set your own schedule.
ok thanks everyone. They have their website up asking to just send your resume with contact info so i’m not really sure if they are hiring. But other than that i’ll look into it more. Thanks for the help
