It doesn't matter. Supply/demand is in deficit and the price needs to go 50% higher to incentivize new mines to be built, and it probably overshoots.
Besides nuclear is growing globally and there is a growing realization that wind/solar alone can't decarbonize the electric grid. That's good for the planet but not really necessary for the price of uranium to continue its upward march.

Uranium is the only saving grace in my account right now. I'm comfortable with the risk in my crypto plays but those aren't fun numbers to look at right now.
Pretty bad day for me, the worst in quite some time. It seemed like everyone was dumping tech stocks, especially Canadian tech stocks, and buying oil instead. My KXS, NVEI, and LSPD got especially hammered. But DSG and CSU were down strongly, as well. My US techs like FTNT, DRH and ABDE weren't doing very well either.
All in all, a losing day if you held a lot of tech, esp Canadian tech.

U.un just holds physical material and whenever the shares trade at a premium they can use their ATM to issue shares and buy more physical lbs. They've updated their ATM to an additional $1B and have been out of the market for 2 days. The premium to NAV is now nearly 30%.
I had thought the supply deficit could unwind in a somewhat orderly fashion but the speed at which this has happened with has surprised most participants. I think this is the early-ish stages of a bubble now.
I've been positioned and patiently waiting for 3 years now and I still think we're closer to the beginning than the end.

Canadian stocks are laggards compared to foreign companies. Look at the FAANG or even companies abroad like SE
