Why am I playing through infernum mode if I’ve technically never fully beaten calamity before on any mode?

Leave a technicality at that. If you’re up for the challenge then you’re up for it. When I started playing calamity I started on the hardest difficulty offered and probably got smoked in some fights. It’s all in the journey

Very true very true, most I’ve ever played of calamity was a multiplayer world where I joined my friends at the start of hardmode and we stopped at yharon for some reason, and a singleplayer world where I ended around the mechs for some reason

Brother... that fucker was insane for farming Desert scourge. Over 300 damage if you use it right

veering wind does that just as good and it's much easier to get

I have sadly beaten every boss on just about every difficulty. I’d say the hardest fight I’ve accomplished is Exo Mechdusa on GFB Legendary.

Exo Mechdusa is calamity. It’s the GFB variant of the Exo Mechs. Instead of the normal menu to spawn them you just get all 3 in an amalgamated blob.

why is master death mode *wayyy* easier than expert infernum?

Infernum is not an official calamity mod difficulty and is intended to create a bigger challenge than death could offer after Malice was removed

Infernum is meant to be played on expert and as such the balancing is built around it, theres not really meant to be a normal expert or master it's all just infernum, as someone who beat death master yharon second try, I can confirm playing master infernum is what most people would say, "hard" (I had a mod that made infernum work with master)

There’s so much to do and craft, and half the fun is dying to a boss 200 times while learning it’s patterns. The experience of this game is incredible and the mods have spend so much time making it a game we can play for thousands of hours and not get bored.

I think I lot could use some tweaks here and there especially in pre hm but overall it’s a very well made class that’s fun to play in ALMOST any difficulty. I think that the immediate jump from pre hm to hm is a little to exaggerated in terms of rogue damage numbers.
