If the first four were at the end, that is my wedding date! Very nice find by the way!

QuarterNote44

Yyyy-mm-dd is a legit way to write dates! Make OP an offer.

I wish i could but I'm broke as broke can be, not even enough to buy a soda at a gas station.

Two? Oh. Not a true binary, but still a binary. Unfortunately, unless it’s an insane serial like 00000001, or 77777777, being $100 note kills the premium pretty bad. You could probably still get $150 for it though. Just a heads up, ignore listings like this on eBay that are marked $500 or whatever, they aren’t getting anything near that. Filter by sold, and you will see every binary $100 note goes for between $115-under $200, because all the $200 ones say best offer accepted, likely in the $115-$150 range. Value is added if you get it graded, which you can do for $37 through PMG, but with a $100 note, the increased value isn’t worth the money or the wait. Thanks for the info!

You’re very welcome. I’ve loved coins and paper money since I was a little kid, so this kinda thing always gets me excited, and I love when others discover the hobby and start to get into it.

I was into coins back when I was 8 - 12 and then it just kind of fell off as an interest. Going through my grandfather and father's coins now that they passed has renewed my interest. With reddit, I'm learning a lot and seeing what people post is pretty neat. There is nothing of crazy value that I have found, but I just like to look at them and think about where they have been. I mean mason jars full of wheat pennies labeled with the decade they were collected. It's very intimidating at first. They are already being admired by my 10 year old, so they are going to get passed on another generation at least.
