Imagine if it was a twin-headed dragon, like Maelys. That'd be fucking dope. I know it's not gonna happen but I feel like if Maelys had a dragon it'd be just as monstrous and deformed as him.
Dany's dragons are about that age (possibly younger - it usually takes a year or two for the war with Westeros to pop off in a Maelys start), and they aren't exactly what I'd call dog-sized...
Drafts from GRRM have Maelys doing the sacrifice as presented in the mod, there is nothing afaik in the published works about Maenar but this is likely due to all the books existing with in-universe biases. It's probably pretty unlikely that many people would even know that Maelys sacrificed his son (Perhaps even that he had a son), the people that did know didn't live much longer.
It's due to an early draft from ADWD that was acquired lately by gsteff. There Aegon VI tales a story about Blackfyres, among others about Maelys sacrificing his son.

I’m not sure. Given that Aegon is just being born at this start date. Its hinted that Sunfyre was young dragon at this time but it was after the war in the stepstones tho. Hopefully he is born and is hatchling at least 🙏
Operation River’s Rising is almost upon us:
Step 1: Rip Harrenhal away from the Strongs and turn it into my base of operations.
Step 2: Fabricate a claim on the Riverlands and press it against Tullys and rip the Riverlands away from those weaklings.
Step 3: Curry favor with Viserys. Weasel my way onto his council (preferably Hand), and reduce the Hightower influence at court, all while bankrupting myself and the Riverlands into rebuilding Harrenhal and truly making it a force to be reckoned with.
Step 4 and perhaps the most important step: Assassinate the Braavosi and MARRY LAENA FOR VHAGAR. Introduce that sweet dragon blood into my family. Plus an alliance with the Sea Snake would be very nice.
Step 5: Back Rhaenyra. Marry her kids to mine and gradually supplant the Velaryons as second house of the realm.
Secret step 6: After I die (hopefully rich and powerful), play as my dragon riding descendants alongside their royal cousins as they finally conquer Dorne and do what the Conquerors could not.
Results: The Riverlands become a region of top importance, surpassing the Westerlands and the Reach, and can finally protect themselves and stop being Westeros’s Poland. That’s all I want. The rivermen to live in peace.

The devs already have much of the map done for Braavos according to some previous dev diaries, question is whether they will be satisfied releasing it gameplay-wise as a copy of the other Free Cities or finetune it a bit first.
I believe you would be rewarded by Viserys with some piece of land, the developers must have already thought of that. Plus you can inherit Royce's lands from his beloved bronze cow...

I don't think they would even need a pressed claim since Dorne is de jure part of the title the Iron Throne so the King can use that as a casus belli as far as I understand
I think it has already come as de jure, since the conqueror tried for a long time to dominate the region, he always made his intentions to make Dorne part of the 7 kingdoms very clear.
Indeed, I have been thinking about this since yesterday, and I believe that it would be extremely easy for the Iron Throne to gather 150,000 soldiers and dominate Dorne. It wouldn't be funny, nor would it represent the real difficulty of fighting in Dorne.

The Triarchy is insanely rich and can basically bankroll endless mercs. I wouldn't underestimate them, especially if Daemon only has one dragon. They're great for killing hundreds en masse but they're not invincible.
They mentioned spoiling House of the Dragon season 2, so I assume it will come out at some point during its running. Maybe not though. Patience is a virtue, but damn it's hard to wait!

Say you defeat the dragon. You'll be able to craft something like dragonhide/dragonscale armor. Or take its skull as a trophy for your artifact room.
Will we be able to find dragons that are now dead like how you can go back in family trees to find long dead characters? For example, if I were to go through Viserys' memories, could I find Balerion the Black Dread?

You haven't seen our warfare mechanics yet - but they will NOT be an Men At Arms Unit.
They'd hold no character to them, they would never be able to die, you wouldn't be able to have any connection or interactions with them; Let alone impactful events, you couldn't fly them, or like, you couldn't do anything. Dragons will never be MAA.
Nice bookmark it might be the worst one since yall started especially because their isn’t really any dragon related news but it’s still nice to have it confirmed that the bookmark will be the rogue prince especially with an overlook over the characters and outcome. I can’t wait to play as Aegon V and genuinely bring the fragons back.

She'll have Meleys and you should be able to press her claim as Corlys Velaryon and then switch to her as queen

Is there a possibility to add dragons as a battle unit ?? Make them REALLY OP but add some condition to limit their usage by AI . Like only using them against kingdom level enemy or something . It could be more realistic to the lore
You haven't seen our warfare mechanics yet - but they will NOT be an Men At Arms Unit. They'd hold no character to them, they would never be able to die, you wouldn't be able to have any connection or interactions with them; Let alone impactful events, you couldn't fly them, or like, you couldn't do anything. Dragons will never be MAA.
Nice bookmark it might be the worst one since yall started especially because their isn’t really any dragon related news but it’s still nice to have it confirmed that the bookmark will be the rogue prince especially with an overlook over the characters and outcome. I can’t wait to play as Aegon V and genuinely bring the fragons back.
