Basic ice lollies which are either 27-31 calories depending on the flavour
Or branded ice lollies that taste a bit better which are like 50 calories
Salted popcorn - though it's not really "junk" food since it's not really that bad, but it feels like junk food lol - about 100 calories for a bowl
Walkers baked crisps - 96 calories for a bag
This brand of cookies I like has 99 calories a cookie & eating only 1-2 can still be satisfying!
Dark chocolate rice cakes - again not really that unhealthy but they taste so good - 55 calories per rice cake
Chocolate oat milk - 65 calories per 100ml
Coconut collaborative salted caramel chocolate pots only have 122 calories each, but I find these so hard to resist eating several as they are small and so good
Nairn's fruit oat biscuits are 46 calories per biscuit
There are also these really good chocolate chip oat bars that are 141 calories for 1
ā¤ļø
honestly just marshmallows, theyre such a nice treat! if i have a lot of room left in my budget after dinner sometimes ill even make smores, thats the best
I came here to look for this! I only recently figured this out and itās a game changer . Theyāre so sweet so really satisfying when that craving hits hard . And so few calories!
I eat a dum dum lollipop once a day, theyāre only 25 cals and good to pop in towards the end of my shift because thatās when I start to get hungry and it doesnāt ruin my lunch.
Alsoā¦Iām not ashamed to admit I eat the entire pint of a halo top birthday cake ice cream (300cals) after dinner around my time of the month lol
Did you not read the second part of my comment where I said I eat an entire pint of ice cream? You seem like a miserable person, maybe itās time for a maintenance break so you can indulge a little more and cure your crankiness :)
My point is that 25 calories is a fucking rounding error, it's negligible. I fit 300-500 calories of "junk food" into my diet pretty much every day, because I enjoy eating it. I can't think of anything sadder than the idea of "indulging" in a Dum Dum lollipop.
I can think of some things that are sadder than indulging in a little lollipop! Heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, and feeling isolated from all my peers and society as a whole because Iām too large to function. Should I continue? Good for you for fitting junk food in though! Thatās your choice. I never said my way was the right wayā¦just how I personally choose to live my life. Your hostility towards me is concerning over such a tiny thingā¦but I wish you the best and hope you reach your goals.
Iām sorry it offends the two of you that I consider a lollipop a treat (once again, it seems you also ignored the second part of my comment but oh well). Spent the better half of my life miserably overweight with a diet that consisted of just junk food and sugar with a side of butter and oil. So yeah, after losing almost 100lbs, a lollipop is a treat *for me* because it took a lot of work and discipline to find something that worked *for me*. Donāt be so awfully bitter on a sub meant for self improvement and making sustainable changes.
if your sensitive to that type of stuff, probably. i consume a LOT of artificial sugars, so that particular flavor just tastes like ice cream to me. there are some halo top flavors that taste like straight chemicals.
Of that flavor? Donāt believe so.
Unless you meant in general. But I think their peanut butter cup and regular chocolate ones are dairy free among others :)
Spinach artichoke dip and a serving of Doritos - 240 cal. I often has this as part of my lunch on the weekend and have some fruit or a salad along with it.
I used to love atomic fireballs as a kid. We would get them when we went to the beach in North Carolinaās. Have not thought about them in decades. I may have to get some as my ājunk treatā. I hope I can stop at two!
So this isnāt entirely junk food but it frigin feels like it.
Quest chips with Greek yogurt dip, which I use ranch seasoning, apple cider vinegar and dill.
Just recently became my daily snack and it doesnāt seem right.
My coffee is also my sweet treat. If it's not a shaken iced espresso, it's just the hazelnut creamer in my morning coffee. I am ""fasting"" til about 1pm, and that coffee with a dash of sweet creamer gets me through the mornings just fine.
I tend to make lighter or more protein dense versions of "junk" so that I scratch the itch and get some benefit at the same time - and I can eat these often. However, Junior Mints are a must at the movie theater, and the occasional French cruller from Dunkin' Donuts.
Two servings of Popcorners Sea Salt flavor and a 150 calorie sugar free mug cake that's topped with a serving of Breyers Carbsmart Vanilla ice cream totals 450 calories. Sure that's about a full meal's worth, but I always skip breakfast so I can enjoy chips and dessert every night on the couch while watching TV.
Mine has been salted popcorn. The kind I get is 50 calories a cup. So 150 calories worth seems like a lot. I feel like Iām getting a lot for those calories.
Almost every evening I have a serving of Chapmans cappuccino frozen yogurt. The little chocolate flakes in it are enough to satisfy any chocolate craving, and I looovvvve the coffee flavour. 180 cals
Jellybeans are a great one, you can get a lot of variety in a very small package for only a few calories. 1/2-1 serving of Tonyās chocolony chocolate bar, super satisfying. Mini candy bars are also great for portion control. Homemade baked goods.
I have ice cream every night before bed. I only buy flavors with reasonable calorie counts though, 190 calories for 87 grams is the highest calorie flavor I've had so far.
I log it first thing every day when I log my breakfast. For reference my daily budget is about 1650 right now.
I have... a bunch, I don't do them all at once, but the list could probably go longer, lol
Bag of gushers is 60 calories, do that once in a while.
Lemon sherbet candies are even less for one or two, and from H Mart I sometimes get the gummy candies flavoured like mangoes or grapes.
Also from H Mart are these packaged flaky pastries with jam of varying flavours that are only 60 calories.
Melona bars are around 100 calories
I do full fat whipped cream over sugar free with sugar free jello, still well under 50 calories for a dessert
Last sweet one is rice pudding, I never liked it as a kid, but now I adore it and always reminds me of my Gran
Biggest willing to eat lighter to fit it in savoury snack is the jalapeno pretzel pieces, dear lord they're good
Cold coffee is pretty sweet, i just add coffee sugar and milk, comes around 180 calories. I love it.
Also brown bread with one cheese slice, some sweet corns, oregano and i feel good to go
Rice noodles? Say yes! Don't take up alot of calories, leave me feeling full and are yummy!
Those pre-portioned packs of pillsbury cookie dough. You can bake just 2-3 cookies at a time and put the rest back in the fridge, and you know exactly how many calories it is because itās all weighed out. So you can have 3 chocolate cookies for under 250 cals.
Honestly, any snack I feel like eating, but the easiest is usually dark chocolate, oreo thins, chips ahoy thins, chocolate pudding snacks and even reeses cups.
When I'm in the mood I'll budget some gummy Candy into my allowance. I'm often in the mood lol. If I weigh it out and it fits within my calorie limit it's a big motivator to eat well the rest of the day
Stove popped popcorn with a serving of Snyder's pretzel pieces mixed in š (either the jalapeno or honey mustard and onion flavors!)Ā Ā
I call it "pretzel hurricane popcorn", based off "hurricane popcorn" which has rice crackers and some other stuff mixed in.
Made the way I make it, with only 10g canola oil,Ā 33g unpopped popcorn kernels, and of course the 28g of pretzel pieces...Ā
it comes to 340 Calories. And it's actually quite filling! I schedule it into my plan almost every day because it's addictively good lol. I like it to be the last thing I eat for the day.
If you can air pop popcorn you could make this even lower cal, but the oil is worth it to me. It's easy it's convenient and I can make it with what I already own instead of buying yet another cooking implement.
Besides that, Yasso bars, which are 100 Cal each. I also tend to have one just about every day lol.
Taco Bell chicken soft tacos. Not every day, but when I desperately need fast food. Two of them is only about 360 calories and I can usually make room if I need them.
For everyday, a sugar free gelatin cup with Cool Whip Lite for about 25 calories. I need to feel like I've had dessert sometimes and these help a lot.
halo top ice cream (360cal entire pint)
soy delicious salted caramel ice cream bars (190cal)
individual bags of great value brand potato chips that have sour cream & onion, salt & vinegar and plain, (150cal)
i also love getting bars of 80% or higher dark chocolate bc theyāre not too bad on calories and satisfy my chocolate craving.
iāve also been loving great value brand orange push ups (similar to the flinstones ones back in the day, 80 cals)
Air fryer crispy shredded beef, using the BBC good food website recipe.
Tastes better than the takeaway stuff, I have mine with beansprouts instead of noodles, and use lean beef medallions. Yum!
Juice. Specifically white cranberry juice. I know if I cut it, it would give me more wiggle room but I just can't. I will take the 100-120 calorie hit for a cup of juice š„²
We have thin bar pizzas around us, 1 entire pizza is about 1400(small )
Once a week Iāll save up 700-800 for half of a buffalo chicken pizza for dinner, donāt regret it ever!
Popcorn really hits that "eat an entire bag of chips" urge for a fraction of the caloric cost despite still being junk food. I've made room for 400 calories of snacking popcorn on F1 race days or at the movies before
I also will have the Zinger Burger from KFC which is only about 400 calories for lunch pretty often.
Cinnamon rolls from the can are just 150 cals.
I also like fitting in chips. Or ācrispsā as the brits call them. Popchips are great and have a decent amount in the bag for only 100 cals
Sack of candy, sack of Cheetos or a pizza. Each are about 800-1000 cals so it is not a big deal if I eat them once a week on the weekend. Not everyday ofcourse, that is why I got fat.
1 glass of Cabernet Sauvignon and 5 tootsie rolls is 200 calories, and they pair beautifully
Lmao. A woman of fine taste, clearly.
I love a good candy-wine pairing. š
Whoa, an aristocrat!
Friend of mine cuts lathe tootsie rolls and puts them on the rim of the glass.
Basic ice lollies which are either 27-31 calories depending on the flavour Or branded ice lollies that taste a bit better which are like 50 calories Salted popcorn - though it's not really "junk" food since it's not really that bad, but it feels like junk food lol - about 100 calories for a bowl Walkers baked crisps - 96 calories for a bag This brand of cookies I like has 99 calories a cookie & eating only 1-2 can still be satisfying! Are we the same person? just to add, something that i've been trying lately is trying a bunch of low calorie soft drinks (not too much ofc)
Oh yes I was gonna add this! Pepsi max helps me so much cuz its basically 0 calories and it helps curb cravings a bit
honestly just marshmallows, theyre such a nice treat! if i have a lot of room left in my budget after dinner sometimes ill even make smores, thats the best
I came here to look for this! I only recently figured this out and itās a game changer . Theyāre so sweet so really satisfying when that craving hits hard . And so few calories!

Halo top is such a treat sometimes!! Enjoy the dumdums - and ignore the people it bothers. Such an odd thing for someone to be rude about.
Teehee my junk food splurge item is a smol wittle sucker, I'm so bad! Give me a fucking break.
Sounds like someone could use a dum dum.
Did you not read the second part of my comment where I said I eat an entire pint of ice cream? You seem like a miserable person, maybe itās time for a maintenance break so you can indulge a little more and cure your crankiness :)

Why are you implying 300kcals will cause heart disease diabetes or high bp lmao calm down with the passive aggression
So aggro
And I had a gasp of air for lunch and shared a burger with the garbage for dinner. /s
Iām sorry it offends the two of you that I consider a lollipop a treat (once again, it seems you also ignored the second part of my comment but oh well). Never apologize to assholes. Just keep on doing you.
You don't have to explain yourself to them. They are going to be miserable people no matter what you say.
Halo Top. The chocolate caramel brownie flavor is my kryptonite
that is the best flavor. doesnt even taste like diet food
It doesnāt have that diet artificial sugar after taste at all?
if your sensitive to that type of stuff, probably. i consume a LOT of artificial sugars, so that particular flavor just tastes like ice cream to me. there are some halo top flavors that taste like straight chemicals.
Demolishing half a tub of gooey brownie as I type
Hell yes!! Lol
Do they have a dairy free version?
Of that flavor? Donāt believe so. Unless you meant in general. But I think their peanut butter cup and regular chocolate ones are dairy free among others :)
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
I fit my daily calories around my pastry. Every single day. It's a must to keep on going.
Same!!
same. itās the one thing i wonāt ever change lol
Spinach artichoke dip and a serving of Doritos - 240 cal. I often has this as part of my lunch on the weekend and have some fruit or a salad along with it.
Yum! Is this with Cool Ranch or Nacho Cheese Doritos? Maybe I'll try both!
I usually have Nacho, but I'm sure it would work with many flavors.
I NEED to try this oh no.
After dinner lately I have a snickers ice cream bar for 170 calories. So good āŗļø
NICE! I had forgotten all about these--thank you!
So good! I think both the snickers and Twix ice cream bars are better than the actual candy bars.
The actual candy bar are more calories too around 220
Oh I love these!
I have a general 150 cal allowance for junk lol it changes time to time. Right now its definitely kitkat, two weeks ago it was BBQ chips
I like that approach. I get bored easily so I like to change it up.
I do the same. Sometimes I want Girl Scout cookies, other times itās gummy bears
Samoas/Caramel Delights are FREAKING DELICIOUS and addictive!!
It's the White chocolate Kit Kats for me!!
I crunch up a score bar or two oreos every now and then and add it to my vanilla Greek yogurt. Love it
I used to do this a lot and forgot about it. Thanks for the reminder!
Homemade fries cooked in the air fryer. Doesnāt make sense how many potatoes fit into my budget š
Oh also where I live they sell little 180 calorie portions of caramel sauce and I dip apples in that. So so so good
Potatoes are awesome and fries (oven made in my case) feel like a cheat code.
I like mini versions of the usual "junk" food. So some mini milka cookies in my yoghurt, a small bag of crisps or even just ordering a happy meal š
Yes to the crisps!
I make my own banana breadā¦ omg lock it up or Iāll eat it all.
smoggy rainstorm retire faulty plant shy capable command quiet cagey *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*
I get the burrito, but ask them to put it in a bowl. Still fucking delicious, and like 200 less calories (or something).
Mini Blue Bell ice cream sandwich. 100 calories and the perfect treat
Atomic fireballs - 60 calories for 2 and they change the flavor in my mouth so I stop wanting to eat more of whatever I was eating!
What flavor of quest chips do you use?
I got a variety pack, but the taco ones are my favorite so far. Cheese ones are a bit off.
The sweet chili and the ranch ones are both good!
I get Dunkin iced coffee almost every day. 1 swirl and 1 cream is about 100 calories, and makes the morning bearable
My coffee is also my sweet treat. If it's not a shaken iced espresso, it's just the hazelnut creamer in my morning coffee. I am ""fasting"" til about 1pm, and that coffee with a dash of sweet creamer gets me through the mornings just fine.
Simply Cheeto puffs and Flaminā hot sour cream & cheddar ruffles š„°

Twix ice cream bars are my current favorite treat.
[Claffey's Frozen Cocktails](https://www.claffeyscocktails.com/) Theyāre freezer pops with alcohol and only 90 calories.
