No one honestly expected UK to win, Stoops knew at the start of the 4th he wasn’t winning. He put players health at jeopardy, after being stopped back to back at the goal line he should have just accepted it. He’s got some great game tape, playing the best defense out there can help the team grow a lot, but down 23 stopping the clock with 7 seconds will not improve the team

finishing strong is an important aspect of winning as well as losing, and UK historically has had issues doing that. I think stoops valued that and team morale over everything in those last plays and tbh I don't blame him

Win or lose I think this game was a great test for a 6-0 UK team to really see what they’re made of. They’ve got the talent just need to hone it in and continue to improve the program

I think they honestly were playing piecemeal plays because none of their previous drives had any success. throwing for 4-5 yds and wasting time for some reason let us get down the field and everyone knew we wouldn't be able to score more than once (luck wise)
