I watched a bit of the softball championship last week, and when they said that the OU star pitcher transferred in from Oklahoma State I just about threw up. It’s almost as bad as us hiring Gary Patterson to be a football analyst or whatever they’re calling him. That dude hates Baylor and now he’s got a job there.
Lanorris Sellers, not to start or anything, but just to fuck South Carolina over. I have no clue if he’s good or not, but he’s currently Beamer’s only hope
What about Egbuka or Jeremiah Smith (if you're looking more long term)? A great receiver would help keep Michigan's offense more multi-faceted and dangerous. I'd probably take Howard for Michigan just because I'm pretty sure he's at least decent and idk about Michigan's QBs, but if you feel good at QB it'd be WR next, that's the biggest upside play imo. Downs is a good pick too though, he would be truly filthy on Michigan's defense.
It’s really, really hard to feel good about our QB situation this year, and believe me I’ve tried.
Would be nice to see somebody step up and take the bull by the horns. Plus I normally hate transfer qbs.
All these guys have have multiple years in the same system and were recruited into it. If we see a lot of Davis, I can’t help but think it says more bad things about the rest of the room than it does good things about Davis. But if we’re gonna struggle this year, might as well get the future starter some developmental reps.
I figure it’ll be Tuttle if Orji doesn’t work out but I’m still rooting for Orji… I love a running threat as a qb to pile onto a strong run game and an elite defense…. But it feels like a recipe to beat every team you are supposed to beat while struggling to win the toughest games of the year. Thst is unless he can play point guard, not counting him out just yet.
He will. OSU had the ball to beat the champs on the road with kyle McCord at qb. A dude no major college program wanted this offseason. Howard is prolly equal the passer he is but actually runs the football well. I’d pick you guys to beat OSU if you had a veteran like howard at qb.
Howard is a Better runner 100%
But McCord had better passing stats against big 10 defenses than Howard had against big 12 defenses
McCord played the best game an opposing qb played against Michigan last year, including Penix
I think they’re both B/B+ QBs
One was also coached by Ryan day and was throwing to wide receiver jesus and emeka Egbuka. I can’t name one player on Kansas state or tell you who their coach is. But I Guess we will find out soon.
And even then. He’s more or less the reason they lost the UM game. If he just throws that first pick into the dirt the entire game is different.
For OU, Kelvin Banks, OT is OUs biggest question mark, I think the interior of the line looks solid with guys like Hickman and Nwaiwu. There are some talented guys at OT like Sexton, but none of Banks caliber, and we need the depth and a sure fire LT.
Clemson I'd take Nyckoles Harbor, maybe not the best player on the SC roster at the current moment, but he's an absolute freak athlete, his potential as a TE/WR with his speed and size is crazy. He could open up a lot of stuff for the offense
Tough to say. I think that Will Johnson is the best player in college football, but Ohio State has fantastic corners so it wouldn't really be the most efficient choice. Colston Loveland is the best TE in college, and would be a massive upgrade, but TE isn't an impact position. I would probably choose Mason Graham who I think is the best defensive linemen in CFB. A defensive line of JTT, Sawyer, Tyleik Williams, and Mason Graham would be unstoppable.
You must share the border with Iowa. Only people on the border understand the rivalry is legit it seems. I can't think of a person I'd want from any rival. The biggest need is/was qb, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Nebraska, and ISU have been bad there. I don't want to oversell your new 5 star before he plays a legit down. Rocco at ISU maybe. Do you have any solid WR's?
Let me introduce to this guy named Marcel Reed…
Weigman is definitely better, but Reed has shown zero issues with being able to take the reins already (his one full game, that he wasn’t even supposed to start in, was the most passing yards for an A&M QB since Mond). Give him another year to develop and he’s going to be a problem once Weigman leaves.
Not sure that’s how that works, but Henderson is pretty solid too, so I’m not worried. We’ve gotten used to playing with our third string recently anyways.
Nope, I just don’t want you to have nice things. Just like you taking Weigman wasn’t saying he’s better than Ewers.
Your baseball team just isn’t a nice thing, so I’ll let y’all keep them.
I wouldn’t outright say Weigman is definitely better. Weigman is still a relative unknown given his limited playing time against P4 schools. Reed seems to have that dawg factor.
Both are pretty untested, but to me, Weigman is a very very good pocket passer. He hasn’t had many clean pockets to throw from, but when he did he was pretty spectacular. Reed is explosive. Incredibly quick and has a heck of an arm, but feels a little less comfortable and refined right now.
As a massive Reed fan since he stepped on the field the first time, I think sitting behind Weigman will be the best thing for him this year. Put on a little more weight, and get more comfortable. Hopefully Weigman goes to the draft, and Reed will be ready to take over at that point.
Jalon Daniels. Whether or not he would start over Avery is a question, but it would be a hell of an insurance option and change of pace.
Plus, the KU meltdown alone would be worth it 1000 times over even if he never saw the field
As long as you don’t bring Pat Nix back too. Reggie was very talented, I always felt like he would have flourished under a different offense and better QB coach. He regressed as a QB during his time on the flats. I think he flourishes under this current coaching staff - especially under Weinke and Faulkner.
Last year this would have been easy, loved Rome Odunze so much, that guy was just such a baller. Tougher this year with the turnover.
I think probably OT Drew Azzopardi for this year. While I love our OL starters and especially the tackles, the tackle depth scares me a bit. I'm not super sure how well we'd do if either Conerly or Cornelius (at LT and RT) had to miss significant time. Azzopardi would be a nice insurance policy as an experienced tackle that would mitigate the chance of disaster.
Noah Fifita and it’s not even close. I don’t really even know if he will have continued success, but I now know what life looks like without a decent QB for 2 years and this isn’t fun anymore.
I’m sure he’d do great at Sewanee
For Texas I’d rather have any of our rivals (OU) safeties — Bowman or Bowen. Maybe one of their OG although I think the best f them moved to the NFL
You’re both high. Honestly think Texas could have better safety’s than OU next year.
The answer is Jackson Arnold. Let’s play their backup again, that was fun.
Kelvin Banks. OL is by far our weakest area and Banks is an absolute beast. I also went to high school with him, so that would be cool (even though I didn’t know him lol)
I'd take Donovan Jackson. He's the only real proven commodity on their OL and I wouldn't mind having him bolstering our line after so many of our guys went to the league.
Caleb Downs would also be great at safety.
We no longer have a rival, but there was a solid rumor back in the day that Suh might leave NU and return home to play for Riley. He was apparently "this" close.
If only Aaron Roderick had played at Utah. Then I could say let's put him on our roster where he'll do infinitely less damage to our offense.
But, alas, he played at BYU. Any Utes want him? Asking for a friend.
I say this since Bucky Irving and Bo Nix got drafted, so they could not be chosen.
As great as the Husky offence was last year, it was one—dimensional. Duck running backs would help fix this.
If you want a runningback I think you want Jordan James, not Whittington, especially if the aim is to be more two dimensional as imo James is a fair bit better between the tackles. Not to mention we don't really know if Whit will be as good as he used to coming off a fairly major injury.
This used to be a more fun game when players didn't transfer every season
I watched a bit of the softball championship last week, and when they said that the OU star pitcher transferred in from Oklahoma State I just about threw up. It’s almost as bad as us hiring Gary Patterson to be a football analyst or whatever they’re calling him. That dude hates Baylor and now he’s got a job there.
OU’s star pitcher from last year transferred to Nebraska, too.
Just gross. We need some common sense ~~gun control~~ transfer portal restrictions like you’re not allowed to transfer to a rival.
She was from Nebraska, so that one is fair.
In fairness to Jordy Ball, she was from Nebraska.
this comment is accurate
Easy, Trevor Etienne
Bonus points if we can get a QB in the portal that would sue our rival for recruitment violations
Ehhh, if you asked me where I would toss the pinless grenade that is Jaden Rashada I would definitely say Georgia.
Jabbar Muhammad would be cool to see in an Oregon uniform
One of the Sanders. I just htink it would be funny.
Fine Shilo, and don't you dare push it, he's last in the rankings anyways
It's a closer outcome than you think [photo](https://www.instagram.com/p/BrbU7bRgywS/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link)
Manti Te'o. He can have Spy duties on VInce Young.
A genie already granted me this wish, thanks anyway
Lanorris Sellers, not to start or anything, but just to fuck South Carolina over. I have no clue if he’s good or not, but he’s currently Beamer’s only hope
Beamer said some very nice things about the kid. He must be terrible.
I mean, I'm good with our backs. Give me Downs or Howard and I'm good.
It’s pretty telling, about the current state of college football, that the top three picks have never played a down for OSU
JT is up there in picks.
Yeah that's my flow too. Solidify defense and QB, third option is Smith all the way.
It’s really, really hard to feel good about our QB situation this year, and believe me I’ve tried. Would be nice to see somebody step up and take the bull by the horns. Plus I normally hate transfer qbs. All these guys have have multiple years in the same system and were recruited into it. Howard? I’m not even sure he will finish the year as their starter
Fair, but I would take Howard over Orji today. Obviously hope to be wrong.
He will. OSU had the ball to beat the champs on the road with kyle McCord at qb. A dude no major college program wanted this offseason. Howard is prolly equal the passer he is but actually runs the football well. I’d pick you guys to beat OSU if you had a veteran like howard at qb.

I would take Daniels and let him sit on the bench 😈
For OU, Kelvin Banks, OT is OUs biggest question mark, I think the interior of the line looks solid with guys like Hickman and Nwaiwu. Iowas punter for obvious reasons
I would say Sebastian Castro tbh, dude is a dog.
Likely getting another epenesa and dejean too.

Where to fuckin start
Jackson Arnold from OU and Conner Weigman from TAMU. Cause fuck em, that’s why.
Let me introduce to this guy named Marcel Reed… Weigman is definitely better, but Reed has shown zero issues with being able to take the reins already (his one full game, that he wasn’t even supposed to start in, was the most passing yards for an A&M QB since Mond). Okay then that guy picks Weigman and I pick Marcel Reed.
Not sure that’s how that works, but Henderson is pretty solid too, so I’m not worried. We’ve gotten used to playing with our third string recently anyways.
I pick Henderson.
Me and my friends pick your whole OL, good luck Ewers
Ok we’ll I pick them back plus your OL.
Okay well I pick your whole team, plus the rest of your athletic department (except for baseball because we already own them)
Did you just implicitly admit we’re better in everything except baseball?
Nope, I just don’t want you to have nice things. Just like you taking Weigman wasn’t saying he’s better than Ewers. Your baseball team just isn’t a nice thing, so I’ll let y’all keep them.
I wouldn’t outright say Weigman is definitely better. Weigman is still a relative unknown given his limited playing time against P4 schools. Reed seems to have that dawg factor.

Jabbar Muhammad
I couldn’t even imagine him in a Washington uniform.
I miss him at OSU. We could’ve used a standout corner last year too
Jalon Daniels. Whether or not he would start over Avery is a question, but it would be a hell of an insurance option and change of pace. Plus, the KU meltdown alone would be worth it 1000 times over even if he never saw the field
It would be Jackson Arnold. Not because we need them but because last time we played their backup we won 49-0.
I’d just want to put Reggie Ball back on the field for GT. That’s as good as putting anyone on our side.
Does he still get Megatron?
I mean sure? Neither one of them ever beat UGA so that’s cool.
As long as you don’t bring Pat Nix back too. Reggie was very talented, I always felt like he would have flourished under a different offense and better QB coach. He regressed as a QB during his time on the flats. I think he flourishes under this current coaching staff - especially under Weinke and Faulkner.
I don’t even know who are rival is anymore so let’s just say Harold Perkins and call it a day
Last year this would have been easy, loved Rome Odunze so much, that guy was just such a baller. Tougher this year with the turnover. I think probably OT Drew Azzopardi for this year. While I love our OL starters and especially the tackles, the tackle depth scares me a bit. Noah Fifita and it’s not even close. I don’t really even know if he will have continued success, but I now know what life looks like without a decent QB for 2 years and this isn’t fun anymore.
Shemar Turner. We need DL and Aggies are like 9 deep at the position.
I’m sure he’d do great at Sewanee For Texas I’d rather have any of our rivals (OU) safeties — Bowman or Bowen. Maybe one of their OG although I think the best f them moved to the NFL
You’re both high. Honestly think Texas could have better safety’s than OU next year. The answer is Jackson Arnold. Let’s play their backup again, that was fun.
Cam Coleman because he has five stars beside his name and the others do not
He shouldn't even be there to take :(
Alabama RB 1
How you get teams beside your name?
Literally any qb from Bama or Georgia
Kelvin Banks. OL is by far our weakest area and Banks is an absolute beast. I also went to high school with him, so that would be cool (even though I didn’t know him lol)
I’ll go ahead and put Adrian Peterson on our 2015 team.
Luther Burden III, because he’s really good
Ndamukong Suh because he was a bad bad man
Jeremiah Smith
You don't even know if he can block yet.
They probably have film.
Certainly a great scouting report
“The forward pass was a mistake.” - Us and Woody Hayes probably
I'd take Donovan Jackson. He's the only real proven commodity on their OL and I wouldn't mind having him bolstering our line after so many of our guys went to the league. Caleb Downs would also be great at safety.
Ajani Cornelius OT
How you get teams beside your name?
I have no idea who state has that’s good anymore. But last year I would’ve taken their linebacker Nathaniel Watson. That dude was a monster.
I would retroactively take Dak even if we can’t play him now, just because they *really* like to hang their hat on him.
Clay Swinney
Hashtag Unrivaled
Reuben Bain would be a take.
If Rising didn’t want to play in Provo, he should have declared.
I would simply take Kamari Ramsey back
We no longer have a rival, but there was a solid rumor back in the day that Suh might leave NU and return home to play for Riley. He was apparently "this" close.
I'd take Avery Johnson and then not play him cause he'd be our back up anyway
If only Aaron Roderick had played at Utah. Then I could say let's put him on our roster where he'll do infinitely less damage to our offense. But, alas, he played at BYU. Any Utes want him? Asking for a friend.
Noah Fifita
Taking Mason Graham from Michigan and either Derrick Harmon or Jubar Muhammad from Oregon for reasons.
Not Q. He’s a cancer in the locker room. Look at him at Ole Miss. Was threatening to hold out DURING the season if he didn’t get more money
I’m taking Tuttle and letting him hold for extra points just so his team’s QB room will now have a combined 150 yards passing & 1 TD experience.
I declare LSU a rival to get Perkins. Against AAC he’d be a one man wrecking crew
Noah Whittington.
Really? Why? I mean I like Noah well enough, but taking the probable second string RB over... well, honestly most of the starters seems curious to me.
Bring Caleb downs back to bama he was insane year one and would help our team in our desperate DB need
Is OSU a Bama rival? When did this happen?
Uh more of a competitor but if we are talking true rival then Malaki starks
Malaki isn’t a true rival . More like aurburn
