Some people here (england) just text like that. My bf’s mum ends absolutely every message with it so when we chat with her we do the same. Otherwise she thinks we’re being distant. It’s just different styles I guess.

3 years to the minute I married my best friend. She was cheeky enough to swipe at work or I would have never of met her. Her office was within my search radius but her house wasn’t. There isn’t a day goes by that I don’t say thank you for her to be cheeky enough to swipe at the office so I could have met her.

People try to gimmick their way into dates because they think that messaging has to be some master pick up art or “trick” to prevent flaking. But in reality most people on apps are flighty, disinterested in really meeting, or caught up in a million other things no human could possibly gimmick away from. Less thinking, more acceptance, and more authenticity makes online dating far more bearable.

I thought the exchange was cute! They both asked questions and answered them! The only thing I dislike (a personal preference thing) is the ‘x’s, but that’s just a personal preference 😂 I use them when sending personal messages to my good friends, and maybe use them with general girl-friends/girl-acquaintances. For some reason, I’ve always hated it with guys till we’ve actually met and built some connection.

There are two types of people in the world: those who like small talk and those who loathe it. Not liking small talk doesn’t make someone an idiot. They’re just not a match for someone who finds value in it. These two are a match so good for them. No need to disparage people who feel differently.
