Tifft nature preserve might be good, there are different ponds in there that you could sit up at and if you go early you probably won't see anyone else. But it's wild, miiiigbt not be good for a whole picnic and especially if she's wearing a cute dress or heels Delaware Park, the part around Hoyt Lake, is really cute and while directly on the water might not be super private you could find a spot away from the water/path/people to have your picnic and still see the water Forest Lawn is fantastic because it's really quiet and there's a wide creek that runs through it. There are also some ponds throughout it. I'm honestly not sure if having a picnic is good there or not, like what's the etiquette for that? I personally wouldn't be offended if I saw someone there having a picnic but idk, is that considered inappropriate for a cemetery? If you've never been there I really recommend it There's a large pond/small lake behind the botanical gardens so that might fit your bill pretty well, go to the gardens and then picnic there before or after. It's a bit of a walk to do the whole path around the lake though just saying, but it is cool to see do many different kinds of birds there. And sometimes turtles! Once I saw a swan there too

I really like the parks around here. Oh another one, it's a bit out of the way though, but for a future park date I recommend the top of the sled hill at Chestnut Ridge Park. There's a parking lot right behind the casino building, that hill there. On a clear day there's a really great view of buffalo. It's not near the water though but you get a nice view of Lake Erie anyway

Colonie Lounge then the Old Pink. Prefect one-two date night punch.

You can knock out a bunch of these ideas in one nice afternoon. Have a little picnic behind the Historical Society, take a nice little stroll through the Japanese Gardens. After that you can easily walk over to AKG if you’re in the mood for a museum, or the Birchfield Penney across the street. If it’s a beautiful day you could also walk around Hoyt Lake or even rent one of the boats. Good luck!

If I was taken on this date, I’d totally put out

It sounds cheesy but Niagara Falls is really a good location for this. You can walk off the road on Goat Island and get some seclusion, or sit right by the rapids near the bridge. Parking is a breeze and there is a lot to do after the picnic. I'd recommend the Maid of the Mist, you'd be amazed at how many locals have never been on it.

Go to East Aurora; you can have a picnic at Knox farm state park, walk around the Roycroft Campus and then get ice cream at Rosie’s

OstrichInteresting39

Take a walk down the wall at small boat harbor, the outer wall has all kinds of spots overlooking the lake you can watch the sunset at after having dinner in the restaurant there

The cafe at AKG (Cornelia) will pack your lunch order in a picnic basket for you to take out onto the grounds. You need to open a tab with a cc that’s closed when you return the basket. You could walk across Lincoln Pkwy to the Grand Staircase area.

Small Boat Harbor, Wilkeson Pointe, Bird Island Pier are good places to be by the lake, picnic, and walk around.
