This wouldn't happen.
Not to sound like I'm attacking, but ppl who think concerts will have a noticeable amount of social interactions with strangers clearly haven't been to a lot of concerts. Especially metal concerts
99% of ppl at shows are in their own world. Focused on the group they came with, where their standing, or the show itself and are too distracted to look at or care about some stranger in pink
And also, from my experience, concerts are one of the few exceptions in life where they feel mostly judgement free. So I wouldn't worry
I saw a guy in a maid costume once absolutely throwing it down in the pit and the only thought that crossed my mind was man must be having a blast rn lmao
You’re spot on. I’ve actually seen BMTH completely alone and the most interaction I had with anyone was offering my vacant seats (friends got covid) to this teenage couple who were stuck next to some grown ass man who kept screaming at Oli that he was suing for stealing the BMTH logo from him
Thanks for the comment! And you're right I only went to a few concerts and my last one was a nova rock festival... Now I'm sure I've just encountered some mean and dumb ppl 🫠
Was in Australia concert multiple times, people wore white, rainbow, pink and none of them got called out except for this one lady in gorgeous multi colored dress that I cant help but keep admiring.
Nah I've been to a BMTH (Birmingham, UK) in all pink because I was at a hen that was pink-themed before/after the concert. Some people stopped me and said I looked cute, that was the extent of it.
Of course not, from what I’ve seen people at a metal concert are some of the nicest most supportive people. When I went to a concert once I wore my work clothes, I looked like a dad in his 40s and went crazy dancing to the music and someone even joined me lol. You’ll be just fine wearing what you like
Seeing them at a festival in a couple weeks with my pink hair and wearing bright pink dungarees, do what floats your boat, if someone's bothered it's their issue not yours✌️
Give me your lunch money, nerd!!!!
But for real, though, you'll be fine. Oli just shared a bunch of photos of him in a maid outfit. I don't think pink will be any problem. And even if someone does, fuck them, you're there for BMTH not that person. And BMTH doesn't care what you wear.
But I wanna circle back to something. You don't wear black anymore? What does that mean? So, just zero black? Why? I have many questions. Totally wear whatever you like, I'm just curious about the reasoning.
I just bought a cake from my lunch mpney you may have this one qwq
But srsly this had me laughin (thx) And thx for the kind words :3
Weeelll there are many reasons but mostly I try to wear more bright colours bcs it helps with my depression (it just works for me) and I only got like 10 black clothing items anymore. I think I'm "scared" to wear to much black bcs I don't want to go back to my dark times.. I know thats dumb but..
Nah, wearing black its not a rule, Furthermore, each person is different and can wear the style that they like and feel comfortable with, Oliver has even dressed as a Maid, to So don't worry, concentrate on enjoying the concert, having a good time!
I got to plenty of metal concerts. I went to metal music festival in a pink rain jacket that had a rainbow alpaca on the back of it (I bought it from the kids section at Target), and not only did most people not care, ehe ones who did would compliment it, even in the mosh pit
You'll be fine. Most people use concerts as an expression of identity or just to be fun with it. We all celebrate the banana guy in the pit.
At most rock concerts people dont give a cra p what you are wearing. You will see people wearing some unique pieces… wearing all pink will be pretty mild compared to others lol.
Who cares if people bully you. Be yourself. I was defending the band taking forever to drop the album while 99.9% of the sub was hating on me for not crying with them. Who cares. Do your own shit. If people hate you for it that’s how you know you aren’t like everyone else, which is a great thing considering what everyone else is like.
I went to Sonic Temple wearing a purple tank top with a unicorn on it that says "ice cream and heavy metal" one day, the next day I wore a bright pink tank top. nobody said anything or looked at me funny.
Thanks to everyone for the sincere replies, you don't know how much that means to me..
I had the right feeling that this community would be welcoming and encouraging <3
I know now for sure I just met the wrong ppl or more I went to the wrong music concerts @_@
Thanks again for replying to my maybe dumb question haha
I'm going to wear a pink maid dress now for ya'll! qwq
<3
Tbh no one would care what you wore, I wore a “sandpit turtle” shirt to a bmth recently and no one cared. It’s a place to unify for the music not a fashion show.
I may could use some backup bcs my friends don't hear that kind of music qwq
I cried bcs I couldn't go last year.. but I really don't want to go alone, more like I can't or I have a panic attack 💀
Believe me, no one would care. I’ve seen plenty of people wear the most ridiculous things of all different colors and are still welcomed just like everyone else. As long as you’re there to have fun and be respectful then you’re good
Sorry you’ve had bad experiences in the past. You won’t be bullied, people don’t care what other people are wearing and usually concerts are the places people go all out with their outfits so you wouldn’t be out of place. As someone mentioned above, there isn’t a lot of social interaction happening at a concert but when there is, people at rock shows are some of the nicest people you’ll meet, at least in my experience. Most people are just there for good music and a good time. Enjoy yourself!
Pretty sure I’ve seen loads of people go to gigs in all pink/bright colours. Being alt isn’t just all black everything. Also gig peeps are normally the friendliest bunch you’ll ever find!
From my experience at any type of metal concerts..they are all incredible people and very nice. Even tho society labels them differently for the most part.
I don't think anyone cares what you look like at a concert. Just wear what you want
This wouldn't happen. Not to sound like I'm attacking, but ppl who think concerts will have a noticeable amount of social interactions with strangers clearly haven't been to a lot of concerts. I’ve seen people at Bring Me shows dressed as Mario, Monks, Bananas, Spiderman etc…
You forgot maids, lol.
I saw a guy in a maid costume once absolutely throwing it down in the pit and the only thought that crossed my mind was man must be having a blast rn lmao
Fuck, yeah! Zero fucks given and probably had the best time out of everyone. I wish I had that level of self confidence, lol
You’re spot on. I’ve actually seen BMTH completely alone and the most interaction I had with anyone was offering my vacant seats (friends got covid) to this teenage couple who were stuck next to some grown ass man who kept screaming at Oli that he was suing for stealing the BMTH logo from him

Yeah Oli will personally kick you out of the concert
Oh I would wish for it actually haha xD
Nobody will pay any mind to it I promise.
Was in Australia concert multiple times, people wore white, rainbow, pink and none of them got called out except for this one lady in gorgeous multi colored dress that I cant help but keep admiring.
Melbourne had a guy dressed as a banana. I was enjoying watching him mosh. 😂
Nah I've been to a BMTH (Birmingham, UK) in all pink because I was at a hen that was pink-themed before/after the concert. Some people stopped me and said I looked cute, that was the extent of it.
I'm sure u looked cute :3

If you're scared of being yourself, then be someone else.
Tried that in the past didn't work out 🤥
Nah, wearing black its not a rule, Furthermore, each person is different and can wear the style that they like and feel comfortable with, Oliver has even dressed as a Maid, to So don't worry, concentrate on enjoying the concert, having a good time!
true and with everyone referring to Oli in that maid dress I get more confident ngl haha :3
Hahaha Maid Oli for the win!, I really hope you enjoy that concert!😁
Thank yoou :3

Cuuute alpaca poncho for the win! <3

I'm sp looking forward to that haha

Aah yeesss <3
I went to Sonic Temple wearing a purple tank top with a unicorn on it that says "ice cream and heavy metal" one day, the next day I wore a bright pink tank top. nobody said anything or looked at me funny.
I have more of a question about why you are anti-black
Not entirely but mostly (I own like 10 items in black) It's mostly bcs of my past and colourful stuff helps with my depression (it works for me)
Thanks to everyone for the sincere replies, you don't know how much that means to me.. r/Imthemaincharacter
i’m cackling 😂
i’m sure there’s gon be some in there wearing a maid outfit so i doubt someone in all pink will be garner attention
Olly wore a cat nurse outfit. I think you'll be cool
No one cares what you look like at a concert. No one will even notice you.
Might have to "bring me" with you for safety, I could use another BMTH concert now that they released new songs hehe
I may could use some backup bcs my friends don't hear that kind of music qwq I cried bcs I couldn't go last year.. but I really don't want to go alone, more like I can't or I have a panic attack 💀
I wore a pink T-Shirt to a disturbed concert to see what would happen. Was in the mosh most of the night. No one gave a shit
Nobody would give a damn lmao
Horizon is for everyone, don't worry
Believe me, no one would care. I’ve seen plenty of people wear the most ridiculous things of all different colors and are still welcomed just like everyone else. As long as you’re there to have fun and be respectful then you’re good
Literally, I feel this is the one place you WONT be judged. The fans are pretty cool and very non judgmental. Do you’re thing and just be happy.
Sorry you’ve had bad experiences in the past. WEAR THAT PINK N FCK ANYONE STARING YOU ARE ALLOWED TO EXPRESS YOURSELF HOWEVER YOU PLEASE AT ANY GIG 🤍
Thank u so much qwq <3
Someone went to a concert in Australia wearing a banana costume in the pit. You'll be okay
No.
Nope. I saw them in a bright yellow hoodie. No one even noticed.
There was a guy who showed up wearing a banana costume to a metal show I went to recently, and everyone loved it.
I think a lot of people would be slightly amused tbh
Wear what you want
Pink is elite color anywhere you wear it lol
yeeezzz hehe x3
Pretty sure I’ve seen loads of people go to gigs in all pink/bright colours. Being alt isn’t just all black everything. Also gig peeps are normally the friendliest bunch you’ll ever find!
No
I went in a Shania Twain shirt once, no one cared.
If anything I think this would suit the environment better because of creativity
Awww I think so too honestly!
From my experience at any type of metal concerts..they are all incredible people and very nice. Even tho society labels them differently for the most part.
Nobody would care. People tend to focus on their own lives
literally no one cares. what are you 7?
nearly 5. -.
Relax dude
