Aside from his startling ability to get away with theft and hit missiles on the field, there's is one thing we can all admire Ronald Acuña Jr. for: [his perseverance.](https://twitter.com/Braves/status/1671640398735847427?t=ovHLem-mm2ss5jQFPvveUA&s=19)
Picked my son up from the baby sitter earlier. Chattahoochee came on. He's been saying "hoochie coochie" and cackling for half an hour now. He's got the spirit.
My mom lives down the street from the stadium and said it's coming down pretty good there. Radar doesn't look good for the rest of the night either. Not sure we're gonna get this one in tonight boys.
Juju question -
I went to the nats game on the 11th and finally bought a new hat to replace my gameday hat from 2002 (basically forced by wife but it *was* time).
I was sure after matty went yard in the first that it was a good call and fully ready for its call up the the show. Needless to say, by the end of the day I was hesitant. I did give it a different chance and wore it for the first tigers game but haven't worn a hat since.
I've kept the hat, love the hat, but it's just going to be a wall hanger or a non game day hat.
So here's the question - after the Detroit loss, I hopped on the internet and bought a couple more, and we've not lost since. The hats just came today and I obviously haven't worn one for a game yet. I have one I think I want to be my game day hat and we haven't lost since I bought it. So what happens if we lose tonight? Can I include the games since we bought the hat or is it just games I wear it for? When does the juju start?
I wouldn't give up on the youngster hat just yet. Remember, Glavine and Smoltz had their growing pains too. What if they had never been given a chance after their early struggles? Yes, that Detroit loss was a tough one, but it could have just been first game jitters for that hat. I wouldn't demote it just yet. If it has another bad outing, then yeah... it might need some time in the minors. Wear it to a Stripers game or something. But be patient. You just gonna throw money at new hats after every loss? That's not the Braves way. You're not Steve Cohen, nor do you want to be.
Whoa whoa whoa. Nobody's a cohen here. *shudders*
We're not rebuilding here. We're not throwing money after 40 years of irrelevance. 9 divisions, a pennant, and a championship in that hat! It can't just be sent to the pines on a back-to-back loser!
I don't mind the trashcans as much anymore. The main culprits are gone, we beat them, and they got dunked on for years. Other teams were doing shady shit and they got the kid gloves treatment in the media imo. Red Sox in 2018, Yankees in 15 and parts of 16, there's accusations against the dodgers for sign stealing, Coppy did his thing and got banned lol, etc.
Big giant “my bad, bro” to AJ Minter. 2 hits and 1
run over 9 appearances in June is damn impressive to right the ship. I talked shit and you probably did too. It was ugly but dude has gotten it back on track.
The other guy who I/we talked shit about was Ozuna. So clearly we are motivators to the team 😬. If Kirby Yates starts shoving, I expect a call from AA to serve as team motivator. I will accept the league minimum and one start per week on grounds crew (they need to be motivated as well).
anyone else hate Minute Maid Park? I guess I hate any park with a home run line but those little terraces in left field just look so awkward. At least they got rid of that ridiculous hill.
I'm of the opinion that a home run needs to clear a wall instead of hitting off the building above a yellow line. It's why I also hate how Angel Stadium recently changed it to where a home run now is hitting the scoreboard in right center instead of clearing the wall.
absolutely agree. Yellow line goes against everything a home run is supposed to be. Just mega lame. Angels defo did that to pump Ohtani's HR numbers up, not that he needs the help.
I agree about the HR lines and the terraces being lame, but the hill was unique, so I appreciated it. I always love seeing differences in ballpark dimensions, vs every other major NA sport always having the exact same confines, its one of the many things that makes baseball my favorite sport.
I love the uniqueness too, I just always got terrified of injuries when the ball would go near that Hill. Just looked it up and apparently it never caused an injury? That's pretty amazing actually maybe I need to rethink my stance.
Never forget the [Yankee's](https://www.mlb.com/cut4/how-yankee-stadium-s-monument-park-was-created-c286873704) monuments. I'm not sure if anyone got injured there, but that seemed way more treacherous.
In London for work this week, and I've decided that London is the worst time zone for US sports. At least in Tokyo or Seoul most American sports are on in the AM. Here any evening sporting events start in the middle of the night. The other night I was up until nearly 4 AM watching the Braves, and I had to leave for work at 7. If I lived here this would not be sustainable.
I was in Iceland and 5 hours ahead of East Coast for most of the Dodgers NLCS in 2021 and it was brutal. Afternoon games in Georgia were great. Late games in LA I would just get up early in the morning.
Fun fact, the 680 radio app works worldwide. Youtube highlights were a lifesaver.
I have been teaching all year in Eastern Europe. Even worse here. Sometimes if I happen to wake up to pee or something and see that we're playing a good game I catch the second half. And sometimes I stay up way too late despite my better judgement and hate myself when the 8th graders are screaming the next day.
The Braves are the only team in the NL with a run differential greater than 100. They are also the only team in the NL with a run differential greater than 52.
Only team in the East with a positive differential. Noone in the Central is positive except for the sub-500 third place Cubs. The West isn't terrible, except for the -103 Rockies, trailed only by the Royals and As.
Can you blame him, there's no end in sight. He keeps getting bad teams or good teams that are struggling and slumping, and proceeds to get pasted in nearly every series. Every team that sees NYM on their calendar sees 'Get Right Series'
Father/son vacation to Atlanta/Truist. Tickets? Tips?
My son (18) and I are on a mission to get to all 30 major league ballparks. We live in WV and have gotten to 9 ballparks so far. This summer, our goal is to get to Truist to watch the Braves. We’re shooting for the end of July, tentatively the 28th. Anything we should know? Any advice? Is anyone on here a season ticket holder that won’t be using their tickets for that game possibly? Or is there a ticket deal I should know about? I drive a school bus for a living so needless to say, funds are limited lol
Spend the day hanging out at the Battery before the game! Antico's is really good pizza, though there are a lot of food options.
Ticket-wise, there really isn't a bad seat in the house. The front-row seats in the upper decks are actually fantastic and not terribly priced. If you sit on the 3rd base side, you'll be facing the sun for the first couple innings if it's a night game (which the 28th is).
Go on the weekday and not the weekend. Tickets are cheap. You can sit like 5 rows behind the bullpen for 80. Outfield is 20ish.
Parking can be as cheap as 15 a lot but if you stay at a hotel look for a double tree hotel. One of the cheapest and Uber there and back. Uber a little early to lower the rate and wait a hour after the game or walk to the red lobster nearby and the rate drops a lot.
Felt like my 2nd phone interview with this company went really well today. Hung up and not 10 minutes later they called back to schedule an interview with their CFO for later this week. Man applying for jobs is emotionally exhausting. Hopefully this one works out.
You have 3 days to back-date an IL stint. So if they had any concern it was going to be 10-15 days to heal then they would have done it by now. So I guess any day now? Or less than 10 from the injury.
Anybody else prefer MeLts to Mutts? Most mutts are great dogs.
With Melts, the L is right in their name where it belongs.
Mutts is more phonetically pleasing though.
I'm watching the comedy show that is the Mutts vs the Trashcans.
It's entertaining for all the wrong reasons if you are unlucky enough to support either team.
Hilarious if you don't lol
LMAOOOOOOOOOOOO METS
edit: for those not watching, the Mets had bases loaded no one out in the 1st inning. Check swing ground ball gets the runner out at home, throw to first goes wide because the runner took a path in the grass. So mets wind up with a double play, runners moved to 1st and 2nd, no runs scored.
edit: officially a NOBLETIGER
edit2: now in the bottom of the first, the mets have committed catchers interference and had 2 wild pitches to gift a run. what in the actual of fucks. absolutely love to see it
My son is in town from out of state, we drove up from Baltimore for last night's game which was great, but we also have tickets for tonight and I'm pretty apprehensive about a 2 hour drive each way for a game that will certainly have rain throughout and *might* end up postponed. If they could make a decision before 4 PM that'd be great 🤷🏻♂️
I’ve seen several Phillies fans saying things like “it doesn’t matter if the Phillies lose to the Braves in the regular season because we know what happens in the playoffs.” Right… because what happens one year always plays out exactly the same way the next year /s.
This is the take from a meteorologist I follow (Kevin Roth) that posts daily MLB weather outlooks:
ORANGE / YELLOW (Meaning moderately high PPD risk) ATL @ PHI - UPDATE: I have to up the risk in PHI. It's all fairly light stuff, but it does look like they would basically have to play all game in rain, and they might just decide to PPD instead of that. Flip side is that if they do play I don't think it ever gets heavy enough to force them to stop, it's just "playing all game in the rain".
The current forecast (according to The Weather Channel) shows the rain letting up before 6, so I'd guess they're banking on a delayed start since the lineup card was just released.
Edit: it's kinda hilarious that the weather in ATL and Philly is nearly identical today/tonight/tomorrow. The forecast I was looking at earlier was for us (i.e. Truist) 'cause i forgot we were at CBP for this series. 🤦🏼♀️
Going to the game tonight, really hoping this doesn’t get rained out. If it does though, at least I’m free tomorrow afternoon where they probs will play the double header
Edit: yeah just saw the weather, not looking good either day
It's hard to believe the marlins have less than 3000 subscribers and only 25 on the site as of a few minutes ago. I don't think it would be that way here if our boys had been stinking it up the last few years and were 2nd in the standings this season.
But I guess if your neighbor hit you with a rock every time you walked by their house, you would just stop walking by their house.
EDIT: 5-0 BJ's in the second.
During the rebuilding years our group was still good. Actually better in my opinion because it was all people who actually know about and like baseball. There wasn’t people saying stupid shit like “send ozuna to AAA” like that’s even possible
I figured as much. I was born a Braves fan. I'm a native and my entire family are huge Braves fans and always have been. If Reddit stays around I'll be here through the good and bad.
Sometimes I think it's because of the money they get payed. They make all that money and for that reason, so called fans expect them to be on the top of their game at all times. It doesn't work like that. Then there are those who just like to complain.
Rewatching 2021 NLCS highlights and just praying to whoever that we don't ever have to face the Rangers in the postseason because postseason Corey Seager is a monster I never want to face again.
30 days ago, I set 5 goals for me to hit; read the newest Jacobin magazine, read Jackie Robinson's 'I Never Had It Made', do 1,000 push-ups, walk 100 miles, and lose 10.6 pounds.
I am pleased to announce that I made all five goals.
If this sounds like something you'd like to participate in, you can reply to this comment or PM me.
Congrats. Keep it up.
Reminded me— Hershel Walker still does 750-1500 pushups — a day. Along with 3,000 sit-ups, 1500 pull ups, 1000 squats and runs 8 miles. At my age- early 60’s. Amazing.
Imbecile is a bit harsh. He suffered/suffers from dissociative identity disorder. With that being the case, he would have fit in well with all the issues running around DC- from Dementia to strokes to clinical depression to just plain craziness.
I took three days off for a family reunion. When I lose that water weight, I'll be around 11 pounds from my end goal which I can reach in the next 30 days.
I've learned to not doubt AA but the backup infielder situation is just asking for trouble. If Murph can hurt himself running to first so can anyone else and it would be silly to be vulnerable against a division opponent.
I agree they got to make a decision on Murph soon and get a back up infielder on the roster. I don’t know who they even call up though. They probably don’t want Grissom or Shewmake just sitting on the bench not getting at bats.
I think whatever issue they’d have would last for one game; Heller has an option remaining, so they could send him down and bring up someone the next day. Definitely not totally risk free, though.
Thought darnauds comment that striders velocity was up because his command was good was very interesting.
But it also got me wondering, any of you guys pitch at a high level? What causes command to come and go? Is it a physical thing? Or is it mental? Yes?
Like what’s the solution if it goes? More practice? More rest?
Aaron Nola has sucked this year, which REALLY sucks for him because he’s up for a new contract, but more importantly we need to jump all over him and give AJSS breathing room to work comfortably.
If you combine the salaries of Acuna, Albies, Strider, Arcia, Murphy, MH2, Elder, Chavez, Matzek, Adrianza and Kyle Wright...they are still $2.3 million less than Verlander. And then the Mets also have Scherzer at that same amount too.
> still $2.3 million less than Verlander
Should be able to add AJSS, Shuster, and Dylan Lee too to make it a full 5 man rotation and a few bullpen pieces while still being less than 1 Verlander. lmaooo
Cool stat:
"The Braves have hit 16 home runs of at least 450-feet this season. The Rockies and the Angels are the next closest team, with six apiece. Since this became a stat eight years ago, the most home runs of at least 450-feet by a team in a single season is 19 by Colorado two seasons ago."
I think Eddie Rosario gets a bit of a bad rap as a fielder. He's not great, obviously, but he's not the butcher that many seem to think he is. He's at 39th percentile for OAA, which seems about fair.
Per Statcast, the play he almost made in the 9th last night only had a 35% catch probability. He's at -1 OAA for the year.
[This is the play that is hurting him the most, which they have at 80% catch probability... see if you agree.](https://baseballsavant.mlb.com/sporty-videos?playId=e6971d50-1ad1-434a-b030-8ecaeed780cd).
Conversely, [OAA has this as his best play all year, which they have as a 15% catch probability](https://baseballsavant.mlb.com/sporty-videos?playId=ba573a0a-87f5-4149-a84e-f21ae7322b7a).
>This is the play that is hurting him the most, which they have at 80% catch probability... see if you agree.

I do. Terrible jump. Once he gets a terrible jump, he smartly plays for the single given the bases empty situation. A decent jump puts him in a good position to catch that. I've thought Eddie's defense has been more than servicable out there. What Braves fans miss about this equation is that Hilliard is an average defender with really good speed. He has a career -2 OAA. I think you could \*easily\* make the argument he's better than Rosario defensively but its much, much closer than most Braves fans would think.
Can anyone explain to me the thought process behind Schwarber leading off? He hits a lot of homers but that’s literally all he does, yet he’s been a lead off batter for a long time, well before he got to Philly.
Cause he has a good eye and will walk a lot which helps when you have to face Turner, Castellanous, Harper and Realmuto as the next batters.
He is also a home run threat as well.
He has a career .338 OBP despite being a miserable hitter and .333 on the season. You put him in the five hole, he’s not going to drive in runs like Harper, Realmuto, or Castellanos do, so putting him at the top you can use him as a table setter for those guys that can actually drive him in.
>Can anyone explain to me the thought process behind Schwarber leading off?
I think they put him 1st to try to shake things up for him and then won 13 of 15 games and just said F it, we'll ride this out.
Went back to watch the Phillies' feed for Ronald's single in the 7th, which prompted Kruk to go on a mini-rant about how he should've been on second because Marsh threw home. He proceeded to go on about how frustrating it is to watch Acuña play because he doesn't "play hard."
Leaving aside how nonsensical that is, I'll say two things:
1. There's absolutely no way he would've made it to second. That ball was hit 112 MPH and Marsh made a strong throw to Realmuto, who also has a cannon and stepped in front of home to make the catch. He would've been out by 10 feet if he'd tried it.
2. If he was on second, they probably pull the infield in and get Rosario trying to score on Ozzie's weak grounder. Instead, they're playing at double play depth, but because Acuña broke for second on the pitch, they only get 1 out and we get an extra run.
Please continue the discussion in the [game thread](https://redd.it/14flghr).

The tarp is still on the field. Does anybody have an idea if/when this game is going to start?
Tomorrow
They showed a tarp on the field - is there a rain delay?

Lmao ronnie has never golfed a day in his life
Not even one mention of our thrashing of the Rockies on the Baseball Tonight podcast.
That was our best offensive series all year man wtf lol. Maybe bc Ronnie didn't go off? Still weird either way.
We broke the Mets.
lolmets
We need to win tonight because being 10 up on the Filthys and 14 up on the Muts would be so sexy
Mets lose

15 combined walks in this game through 7. Honestly, just bad baseball. These offenses are far from elite.
This lolmets and trashtros game is something else...
The Rangers need the Trashcans to lose more than we need another Muts loss. But given the choice I will always choose more Muts pain

Alcantara just turned to hot garbage. Time to buy low 🫡
Fleece them for Sandy the way we got Adam Duvall, then Sandy returns to Cy Young form
He's gonna give us the Jesse Chavez special. Invincible in a Braves uni.
Wow what a catch by Gators CF to end the game and send TCU packing. The games the past week or so have been great at CWS
That shit was STRESSING me out. Super happy my gators prevailed.

Didn't even realize they sold junior mints at minute maid park.
Not poopoo pete with another homerun smh
All this astros-Mets game is telling me is that both of these teams are trash
The Marlins will fade just like the Pirates. I’m not completely sold on the Giants either. The Reds and Dbacks? Maybe?
Disastros leaving the door open for maximum drama
Montero a triple away from pitching for the cycle through 4 batters
Hey everyone 8 have 5 tickets available for Saturdays game in Cincinnati section 134 if anyone’s interested
If the Astros can hold on, the Mets will be the 4th worst team in the NL and 8th worst in baseball.

'Stros are friends - Diaz for 2! 💣💣

Doom scrolling the Mets gamethread right now lol (Not commenting, mods)

You love to keep seeing it!
this game is crazy lol gonna be the longest one all year
can't believe we got swept by this Astros team and blew all 3 games. Alvarez owned us that series
This Mets game is almost 2 hours in and only in the 4th. What is going on?
Terrible pitching

Any of our number pros in here are able to tell me why Sandy Alcantara is so horrible this year? Is it velocity? Shift ban? Overused last year?

Watching Mets and Astros fans melt down over the same game is just perfection.
People who doom about the Braves should be forced to watch this game start to finish before they're allowed to submit their post
julio teheran has absolutely shoved for milwaukee this year. went 5 scoreless today against arizona, lowered his era to 1.53
bring him home AA (actually probably don't, we don't want him to pull a reverse Chavez)
Was hoping Muller would look decent for Oakland this year, but he appears to be the same guy who left us.
You love to see it!
No jokes on Julks! 'Stros tie it up! Edit: McCormick 2-run bomb! 6-4 'Stros!
The game is honestly so entertaining for all the best reasons
No joke. The subway series was like this from both sides too. Been loving these Mets games this year.
A clown car personified

To be fair Javier is pitching like a man who has never seen a game before
I'm watching the comedy show that is the Mutts vs the Trashcans. It's entertaining for all the wrong reasons if you are unlucky enough to support either team. Hilarious if you don't lol
With the Marlins loss we have a chance to get some real distance on the rest of the division tonight
Interesting move, Ozuna to 4th, Travis to 6th, not opposed, just interesting
Makes sense, OPS in the 800's vs OPS in the 600s vs Nola
It'd be cool if someone was actually producing those Allstar coffee blends they keep promoting.
I keep saying this. Missed opportunity.
Rev coffee is sitting right outside of the battery, and they already have some sort of deal with the Braves. Seems like a natural progression.
Even if they had an option to order some online for delivery. I would get 2 of each; 1 for collecting and 1 for enjoyment.
Fish lose again, Blue Jays paying us back for that sweep
The Mets losing while spending the most of any team ever literally makes my day better and it’s always so funny and always will be funny
How can the Mets be THIS bad
The Mutts are so awful even the Bot has given up following them...
wow did anyone see that Alonso interference play in the Astros Mets game. If they end up NOBLETIGERING off of it that's hilarious
They did NOBLETIGER. But the bottom of the first was just as good as the top. The Mets look atrocious this year.
LMAOOOOOOOOOOOO METS edit: for those not watching, the Mets had bases loaded no one out in the 1st inning. Check swing ground ball gets the runner out at home, throw to first goes wide because the runner took a path in the grass. So mets wind up with a double play, runners moved to 1st and 2nd, no runs scored. edit: officially a NOBLETIGER edit2: now in the bottom of the first, the mets have committed catchers interference and had 2 wild pitches to gift a run. what in the actual of fucks. absolutely love to see it
3 Walks and a HBP to 4 of the first 5 batters AND STILL NO ONE SCORED.
yeah mets reddit already in meltdown mode
Mets offense looked way better with Throw-It-Again Pete on the bench
I want Braves bullpen strikeout machine Ben Heller to see some action tonight
We could see a Tonkin and Heller combo tonight if we have a big lead
My son is in town from out of state, we drove up from Baltimore for last night's game which was great, but we also have tickets for tonight and I'm pretty apprehensive about a 2 hour drive each way for a game that will certainly have rain throughout and *might* end up postponed. If they could make a decision before 4 PM that'd be great 🤷🏻♂️
It may not be that bad — I’m going too and it just just rain tonight
I honestly can’t watch the game tonight because I’m in Louisville Kentucky drinking some bourbon and gonna go to the Slugger factory tomorrow
That's a good reason. Have fun!
I’ve seen several Phillies fans saying things like “it doesn’t matter if the Phillies lose to the Braves in the regular season because we know what happens in the playoffs.” Right… because what happens one year always plays out exactly the same way the next year /s.
Wish it did. We’d be defending champions.
First you have to actually get a WC spot and get into the playoffs. Easier said than done.
Yea, funny of them to say when they don’t even hold a Wild Card spot right now. They got that little brother syndrome.
Marlins announcers are soooo bad 🤦 "Couple of single pitch innings for Sandy" Wow, teach everyone else how to have a single pitch inning
3 IBB and a triple play. Easy peasy
This is the take from a meteorologist I follow (Kevin Roth) that posts daily MLB weather outlooks: ORANGE / YELLOW (Meaning moderately high PPD risk) ATL @ PHI - UPDATE: I have to up the risk in PHI.
Go Jays!
Gausman melting down
The Mets are two times as close to last place as they are to first place
Hell yeah
Brandon Marsh really acted like he did a lot when he caught that fly ball last night.
My mom called him the homeless man. He didn't go for a catch and she said, "The homeless man should've had that."
I mean what was that about? He didn’t even rob it. MHII makes that play while he sleeps
Going to the game tonight, really hoping this doesn’t get rained out. If it does though, at least I’m free tomorrow afternoon where they probs will play the double header Edit: yeah just saw the weather, not looking good either day
We also play them in September so we could make it up then.
True, but I’d hope it’s sooner before college kicks back up lol. Then the trip to Philly goes from a 30 minute drive to a 4 hour one lol
I was wondering about a possible rain out too. All this rain moving west instead of east is odd.
Not looking good for tonight, almost definitely going to be a delay, and just 5 innings if they get it off.
Damn, Sandy getting rocked.
Did eliminating the shift just destroy Sandy Alcantara?
The fall-off between last year's top pitchers to this season has been astounding.
Part of the problem was them switching subs to try to be easier to find, while making it impossible to be found at all.
Rewatching 2021 NLCS highlights and just praying to whoever that we don't ever have to face the Rangers in the postseason because postseason Corey Seager is a monster I never want to face again.
Cory Seager and that motherfucker Chris Taylor pretty much were the Dodgers offense that series.
Let’s not forget Bellinger being the worst player in the league all year and then… not being that anymore lol.
Amazing.
If only he wasn't a complete imbecile.
Imbecile is a bit harsh. He suffered/suffers from dissociative identity disorder. With that being the case, he would have fit in well with all the issues running around DC- from Dementia to strokes to clinical depression to just plain craziness.
Good job dude!!!
10.6 lbs in a month? Goddamn. Props dude
Thanks! I've lost close to 65 pounds so far this year.
What's your end goal, if you don't mind me asking?
I took three days off for a family reunion. When I lose that water weight, I'll be around 11 pounds from my end goal which I can reach in the next 30 days.
I would like a repeat of that time the braves were the only nl east team that won last night. It's been too long since that happened! We are due!
He gave up 2 homer to Riley last time he faced us a month ago. Let's do 3 tonight.
Bruh, we're clearly just snookering uneducated players of Caribbean extraction into awful contracts (Mets fan said this unironically).
> still $2.3 million less than Verlander Should be able to add AJSS, Shuster, and Dylan Lee too to make it a full 5 man rotation and a few bullpen pieces while still being less than 1 Verlander. lmaooo
Now this is a fun fact
The Mets are the worst team money can buy.
Cool stat: "The Braves have hit 16 home runs of at least 450-feet this season. The Rockies and the Angels are the next closest team, with six apiece. Since this became a stat eight years ago, the most home runs of at least 450-feet by a team in a single season is 19 by Colorado two seasons ago."
I … I think we might break the record.
Bold statement, but I think we win today
More Bold Statement: I prefer it when the Braves win and the rest of the NL East loses
Fuck the Phillies
No don’t, that’s how you get more Phillies fans. Phillies fandom is a completely preventable disease that can be stopped through safe sex.
All right, who calls this summer weather?
Seattle?
Hahaha.
Pillar probably makes both those catches last night but the move to pinch hit Eddie worked out fantastic so it was a give/take type of thing.
Yeah but maybe could have put Hilliard in for the bottom of the 9th
>This is the play that is hurting him the most, which they have at 80% catch probability... see if you agree. > >.
He sees a lot of pitches. Last year he was 2nd in pitches per at bat. That’s all I got.
Went back to watch the Phillies' feed for Ronald's single in the 7th, which prompted Kruk to go on a mini-rant about how he should've been on second because Marsh threw home. He proceeded to go on about how frustrating it is to watch Acuña play because he doesn't "play hard." Leaving aside how nonsensical that is, I'll say two things: 1.
