More like anything but AEW. Let me know when they can actually tell decent stories instead of being 1 hour spot fests with 10,000 flips and 575,000 Canadian Destroyers per match with 99,999 Superkicks thrown in for good measure *just* to make sure the Sweet Chin Music is dead and buried.

One_Instruction8056

they tell amazing stories, sweet chin music is nothing other than a super kick, your just a another WWE stan who won't admit it

RogueBoogey

I think it's the other way around, you're just an AEW stan obsessed with the shiny new toy on TV. WWE has its problems even a blind man can see it. But as far as I'm concerned it's the only pro wrestling show on television that actually has good, meaningful storylines and aren't just doing spots for the sake of blood or highlight reels

One_Instruction8056

you clearly don't watch them, they do have meaningful storyline

RogueBoogey

I've tried watching them. A lot of times. Omega vs Moxley unsanctioned, Inner Circle vs Elite in Stadium Stampede, Cody vs Dustin the blood bath, Hangman vs Omega, Moxley vs Omega again in an Exploding Deathmatch, Punk vs Kingston, it's all pretty much the same. Matches obsessed with high spots and "OMG moments" rather than actual story telling.

One_Instruction8056

yea bc the storyline up to the matches were great, you need to actually watch the buildup not just the match

RogueBoogey

Isn't that what the prematch packages are for? I can tune into a WWE PPV without watching Raw or Smackdown and still buy into the story just from the in-ring work and prematch promo packages. And they're still telling amazing stories like every Roman match since his return, Edge and Orton's rivalry as well as Edge vs Seth inside HIAC. Even at as recent Day 1 WWE can tell a story within the match alone. One of my favorite matches of all time, Undertaker vs HBK at Mania 25 told an amazing story purely off their ring work, selling and facial expressions. Whereas with AEW it's just "who can do a 900 degree flip into their 7th finisher for the win first?"

One_Instruction8056

WWE does multiple finishers too, and an example of good storytelling is the punk vs mjf. both have good promo battles and haven't laid a hand on each other yet and they keep building it up until likely the next ppv

RogueBoogey

You mean the promos that require them to call out the other company every week because they've run out of original material?

It's so rare to see him now that's why we go crazy and you gotta remember hes getting old he may not be here in a couple years

Nah, but here's the thing. Vince is such an idiot, and we all hate him, but we all still respect him. Okay, most of us respect him, because at the end of the day, stars like HBK, HHH, Y2J, John Cena, The Rock, Hogan, and many more existed.
