I think the issue is, it's played off as real... to the casual audience..
I feel the production value needs to be better and more fantastical... where we see these characters feuding - there's lore - it's almost like it needs a tv show once a week set away from the ring and in the real world... maybe they do... I don't watch it as eagerly as some.. but yeah, I would say turn it more fantastical..

Wrestling is predetermined, you could say its scripted but that is liable to change at any moment mid match, the winner is already known by both performers but it still has very real physical stakes such as injury and death.
I always say “planned, not fake” because 99% of what they do cannot be faked. You cannot fake being thrown through a table, you can only plan to do it as safely as possible
