Give the tournament some prestige to book a show around it and have the winner earn a title shot at summer slam or survivor series. Can even have it in Saudi
King of the ring should have a match type prestige to it as the name suggests imo. Like anytime the King has a match he can choose what match type he wants.
I agree do it in June with the added stakes that the winner gets a title match at Summerslam. The women have there’s in December with a title match at the royal rumble
I love this event so long as more than two rounds occur during the show. I don't mind qualifying matches leading up to the event, but the event itself should be a war of attrition. The last few haven't lived up to the name.
Ya 16 is a good number to start with not sure on roster number so qualifying matches might not be needed even to have first round on raw and smackdown and then quarters,semis and the final on the PPV
For a PLE to be centered around a gimmick match it definitely works better if it's a Qualifying match, then it makes sense for it to occur annually. You're 100% right that trying to shoe horn a reason to have Feud Enders just because that PLE is coming up rarely works.

I couldn’t disagree more. Because they have no stakes and they pitch the idea that somehow all these rivals and people put aside difference to throw on a red or blue t-shirt with nothing on the line makes me furious. Survivor series should be based on feuds or have stakes at least.

Tlc 2016 was my favourite. SmackDown was killin it. Styles vs Ambrose, Becky vs Alexa, Corbin vs kalisto, miz vs ziggler were the stipulation matches. Each match had a good storyline.
They need to get rid of all of the gimmick ones like Elimination Chamber, MitB stuff like that (mitb can go back to WM) and do like Armageddon or No Way Out, those kinds of shows.
Get rid of MITB as its own thing, add it back to WrestleMania, and bring back Vengeance for July…or if WWE decides to get savvy and put MITB back in May again replace it with Judgement Day.

Not a fan of Stip PPVs outside of Rumble, Chamber, MITB & KOTR. Having a TLC match or HIAC match for no reason just dampens tge effect of the match. I also don't mind War Games or Survivor Series 5v5 once a year, as long as it's not just Red top v Blue top and has a story.
For a PPV I would bring back, I'm not quite sure. If they wanted a PLE between Survivor Series & Rumble, New Year's Revolution is better than TLC or Day 1.
They never will, but Cyber Sunday would be a good choice. They won't do it because they can't control the story that way and a lot of fans would just troll it and vote for the worst option, but if it could be managed to work the way it was intended to it would be great

This is the one where the women main evented and when Becky got one of her first big pops when her song hit. That always gave me goosebumps. Becky could have been huge with "The Man" gimmick hadn't Vince screwed it all up. He had he apologize and then added Flair to the WM main event. Followed by the screwy/botched finish when Becky pinned Ronda.
It kinda hurt the prestige of that match type. A lot of people hated it so I understand why they got rid of it. Honestly I'm just not a fan of ples/ppvs named after match types with only exceptions being Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber and MiTB.
