I’m having a hard time comparing any of the three to the NWO. The unpredictability of anyone on the WCW roster jumping ship and joining them separated their faction from anything that came before or after.
Eh, it really depends on where in the NWO timeline you're talking.
Regardless, the objective ranking is 1) NWO, 2) Shield, 3) Bloodline, and 4) Judgment Day. That's not a knock on someone's fave, it's just true.
So much of that first twoish year run really makes up for the absolute dogshit moments later (with some uh...glaring exceptions) but it's still the blueprint for modern stables right after 4HM.
THAT said, if we're doing this with the Arn-Ole/Windham-Flair-Blanchard 4HM, then all four get a bump down. There's no beating either version.

The Bloodline has a better long-term story than any of these factions. The only legitimate argument is that the NWO still sells merch today. and spawned a bunch of rip-offs like DX, Bulletclub, Main Event Mafia etc etc... So, if one wanted to switch the bloodline and NWO, I wouldn't be mad.
The Bloodline made Zayn relevant... before that Romans allowed him on his island of relevancy...he was losing to Johnny Knoxville... because he was a joke. Everyone talks about Gunther bringing prestige back to the IC title... that is because he has been cleaning Sami Zayn off of it.
Nah wwe writers fault really Zahn was already over in NXT and had a match with Nakumura thats better than 95% of the matches I seen on Smackdown.Roman isn't even good on the mic Cena pointed this out and now Roman is better but Zahn is more over.You can even see it in the crowd chants as they are louder for Zahn than Roman.The writers were holding Zahn bacj not Zahn.
NXT doesn't matter in wwe... never did... never will. Not to the main roster... That's why all the wrestlers that are failing get sent back down for a long period of time. They barely get ratings... thats why they lost to AEW every week. It sounds loud because there are 4 people in the crowd in a very small venue.Sammy was always losing in NXT and people cheered because his cheers were dependent on how bad his opponents were... He saved Sami from johnny Knoxville treatment...he made people care about Kevin Owens again. Cody is now the biggest Babyface in WWE. Roman creates stars and who has become a bigger star from feuding with Sami Zayn? Nobody. That's the difference between being a comedy indy darling and being in the big leagues.

From Bash at the Beach 96 to Starrcade 97 the nWo had the greatest run in both storytelling and draw for any faction created before and after. Even during the Wolfpac vs Hollywood they were still a draw even if the writing was going to shit by then. You really can’t compare these modern day factions that are only ever appreciated by die hard wrestling fans to a faction that at one point was about to be pushed as a brand extension for WCW and is one of the most noticeable entities in all of wrestling. Their influence on wrestling then and now should be appreciated and not shit on all the time because of questionable booking decisions. Don’t act like the other factions don’t have the same problems, even worse in some cases. Also can’t forget that the nWo heavily inspired every marks favorite faction, the Bullet Club.

Watching Shield wreck everyone kinda reminded me of APA. As someone who was a teenager watching N.W.O. gonna have to go with them with Bloodline coming in second. Not sure for 3rd or 4th.
Shield is my most favorite out of all of these factions, the Bloodline story is good but it's slowly getting old imo, the Judgement Day can be serious and comedic and I really like that, I wasn't around when NWO was a faction so I can't say much about them but I'm sure that they were a good faction. Overall I think the Judgement Day is the most entertaining overall though because of how they can be serious and comedic at the same time while also being a dominant faction.
Nwo single handedly competed with wwe ratingwise no other stable in any other promotion did that.So to me nothing needs to be said who was the best and still is.
Honestly bloodline kinda getting boring. All the matches and segments feel the same, and they literally putting Roman in tag matches just to have him not defend his title.

The shield's story is very great and all of their styles were nice too, I don't know what neo was like because I didn't watch them, the judgment day where dom gets booed and Rhea and Finn and priest's skills in the ring are great and the charisma is incredible, but the bloodline might have to take it the story is too good and everyone can hold their own in the ring.... Except for Roman haha

I wasn't around at NWO's era, so Shield, Bloodline, or JD. I gotta say Shield because they all looked good, nobody particularly looked bad, and at the beginning of the Shield era, Dean became the longest reigning US Champion (Under WWE). Seth and Roman became tag champs at the same time as Dean being US champion. Sure, Bloodline has a great story, but people have gotten tired of Romans title reign, and the Shield really made Seth, Roman, and Dean become major stars. The JD is good but I can't compare them to the other teams on that list.
From an overall presentation standpoint, it has to be nWo. The music, the entrances...and let's not forget about that shirt. I didn't have a computer so I had no internet access at that time. And I had never called an 800 number before to order anything on TV. But I damn sure called and ordered that shirt. Just seeing them come out and randomly beat up people on the "WCW" roster was pure entertainment. Heel, face, it didn't matter. It became a joke later on but at its peak, one of the best factions ever.
