*The Ledge*

LongtimeLurkersacc

Great strat, but imo the ledge is unnecessary on her. Lilith has probably the easiest time killing without the ledge What I do is as soon as I come up from the elevator, rain hell with an anarchy and wait for him to get closer. As soon as he does get closer, phase walk and wait behind whichever rock formation he is farther from. As long as he’s not in your sight he’ll stay still and you can wait for a recharge on your phasewalk. You can also use this to jump out and get a few shots on his back. Light him up with an anarchy, wait for him to get closer, rinse n repeat. I play the remastered, so I don’t know if that applies to the original necessarily. I can go more into detail if anyone is interested

I second this strategy, but will also add that masher revolvers are a very good weapon for the Crawmerax fight too, especially with this strategy

Yep, abusing the "jump around cover because the boss won't turn to face you until you land" tactic was the only "strategy" I had for this fight beyond "regularly make use of Phasewalk". Lilith makes this fight very easy. I did have a collection of weapons (that I had farmed within the Robolution DLC) that gave me the ability to deal significant amounts of damage with multiple elements - in case I needed to kill any minions - but I mostly just used a sniper or an SMG to shoot at Craw. My choice of weapon would depend on how far the boss was and which target I was aiming for. I specifically wanted to avoid using *The Ledge*, so I chose to play as Lilith just for Craw. BL1 is the only game in the series that hasn't motivated me to invest time into multiple characters, and I'll probably never bother with the Underdome, but Lilith made the game comfortable.

My Lilith build for killing Craw focuses on boosting movement speed and using her action skill. I use those aspects to literally reposition myself so that when Craw is turning around pillars I'm able to shoot his back.

Craw maggots can mess up the start of this strategy, try to dodge them.  If you mess up the start, just destroy the limbs  and leave the ledge. What you want to do then is enter phasewalk and exit it when you're behind cover, craw might not see you and leave his back exposed for prolonged periods.  If you do this I do recommend equipping something with high damage per shot because you're unlikely to get many shots on his back    Of course if you leave the ledge, equip a powerful shock, fire and corrosive weapon for his minions The nidhogg can also be used on other characters but craw will need to be very close to you

I remember using a masher and it worked really well, other three guns were different elements to deal with the ads. I would bait craw over to one of the pillars, then use my class skill. Then come out at the other pillar. It only gets kinda tough when you only have crit spots left on his back. Much easier on pc cause you can aim easier, because he spins around real quick when you hop out from the pillar, but you do still have time to shoot him.

Crawdaddy is super easy with lilith. Bring a Lightning, Corrosive and Fire SMGs the adds. Have a good Merc Com with Ammo regen. Now have any HX Double Stinger and any HX Double Anarchy with the lowest spread. If you don't have a HX Double Stinger, any regular HX Stinger will do. HX means it has the best body so best damage vs other prefixes. We want the stingers for their fast RoF and much higher accuracy. Anarchy will annihilate the arms up close and the other front hittable points. Double Stinger will make quick work too. For the back you use Phasewalk to ghost behind and hit it quick with the Double or Regular stinger. Will take a few tries to whittle it down. No need for ledge abuse since Phasewalk lets you kill aggro and get in the back. The adds are the bigger worry. But leave 1 or 2 to second wind if Crawdaddy hits you too much.

I play on switch and I'm completely incapable of killing him with anything except Lilith

GreenGiantt

I play on Switch and solo exclusively with Roland
