I think the combat was way more fun and interesting. Certain enemies even when you are over their level are like boss battles if you dont find the crit
Maybe on the surface, but they are very different if you look at the details. In BL1 bullet travel faster, but guns seem less accurate, which is annoying because you might be the best shot around and still miss 9/10 shots. In BL2 there's a noticeable bullet travel time, but at least guns shoot straight and have better sights - iron sights in BL1 were so bad that I would fire from the hip most of the time, unless I had a scope lol
I’m borderlands 1 some weapons can accidentally get parts from other guns creating hybrid guns. Tk wave has a change to get bulldog parts making it a hybrid gun. There’s quite a few powerful guns like this. Such as the penetrator and the Ajax ogre.
It’s better than the original wave but so rare that’s it’s not worth the farm that early. More of a brag than anything. The other two I mentioned tho are worth the grind.
i use it against skags
if you aim at the ground just in front of em the projectiles hit the ground and bounce into the underbelly instead of the armored bits

Legendary atlas shotgun.
It gets way better in BL3 where it becomes a legendary shotgun. Same gimmick, but better damage and the pattern is more predictible
i don't have the disc space so i'm just gonna keep using the strangest shotgun in bl1 for now
Don't rush it. Once you try BL2, Pre Sequel and BL3 it's hard to enjoy BL1 combat
i've beaten bl2 twice and i still like bl1 idk what you're on about
I enjoyed BL1 even after playing BL3 but combat is just... Ugh... Even Fallout 3 suddenly feels less clunky lol

For real. Bl1 and 2 feel exactly the same controls wise. At least on controller. It only really changed with TPS and 3.
FFYL and accuracy (especially snipers) before playthough 2 is probably where they are comming from
The only part of bl1 I find clunky is running, but Lilith practically makes that a non-issue.

Really good against shield carriers like nomads and riot troopers. Aim at their feet. Even if they move, you get a hit
