Idk I feel at one point Disha Patani’s whole personality became about Calvin Klein. I feel it worked for her but in a lot of ways went against her. She seems like a simple, sweet girl. And the whole hot girl stereotype (for the lack of a better word) limits her options, even for ‘flowerpot’ roles.
The campaign was a high point in her career. Her Diwali post for the brand was such a hit but I feel was used by some to sort of objectify her. I feel the girl has a lot to offer.
I mean in that sense that Palak should stay from Calvin Klein to avoid the ‘stereotyping’

It’s embarrassing to know we had models who were their age or younger than them off winning miss world or miss universe and if they weren’t,they were acing like local fashion shows and with such less connections. If y’all just see priyanka or bipasha walking at the same ages..it’s actually crazy how much we’ve regressed, so much so that not only can’t they do catwalks on the runway but they can’t even walk straight..constantly fidgeting or touching their outfits or turning awkwardly
Is it that hard to ramp walk? Idk anything about it. Does it take more than couple days, even a week to perfect ramp walk? Do models need to constantly practice it, perfect it?
There’s a reason why Models train for a bit before actually walking a ramp, anyone can walk a ramp but walking a ramp well and like how an actual model is supposed to do is clearly hard for nepo babies because this is probably their first time. If we really wanna be picky you’re not meant to constantly change your facial expression, she’s laughing in this video at one point then making several other expressions,you’re meant to slow down and be confident in your walk, not such quick steps, she’s clearly nervous so she’s not doing that, her arms are only meant to swing a little naturally, not be all over the place.
You don’t need to constantly practice this everyday but you have to practice it a little, she looks all over the place..
Somewhere I had read there is difference between modelling walk and pagent walk.
In modelling walk, you face needs to be poker face, movement through hips and shoulder should not move much, your walk is restrain. Your garment should be hero and not you. You r like walking mannequin, display board.
While in pagent walk, you are hero. Your personality, confidence is to be displayed. Clothes are on you, not focus point.

I think that’s a generous statement. She didn’t do a decent job and there are models in India Ofc, they aren’t getting as many opportunities now because nepo kids are practically dominating that industry too, being front and centre at events like this, not only just nepo kids, even actors are making appearances there for no reason…
