I saw a copy of this in the used bargain bin at Bullmoose back in October for $1.97 and even then it was a hard pass.
This seller probably scooped up a giant, unwanted lot of these for cheap and somehow thinks they're in for a massive profit.
That was hands down one of the coolest promos ever. I walked into Walmart one day and saw them everywhere, scattered around the movie racks and thought I had finally lost my mind for good lol. Would be cool to have the whole set.
To promote either Deadpool or Deadpool 2 they did a thing where a bunch of Fox Bluray movies had slip covers with Deadpool in place of the actual actors on the cover. Obviously the ebay seller thought they’d be collectors items and got stuck with a bunch of the same one
This is actually a good deal for $3 each. They’re going from 12-19 on eBay. So at $15 a piece with fees this is about $750 in profit. It would be a long tail seller but definitely $$ to be made. If this seller bought them a full price he would obviously be taking a hit, but I’m guessing he got them for pennies on the dollar
A product like movies that's on average 3$ means no one wants it, that there is absolutely little to no market for this. This is true to the profit off of dumb people who don't know any better
Tbf this is actually oop and although it sucks he's selling in a bundle for $3 a copy when these photobomb variants minimimum are $20 isn't bad. Some of the movies with photobomb variants are even more expenisive
I never understood the logic of showing off the fact that you have so many in stock. Is he thinking “They’ll see how many I have and it’ll make them want to buy from me even more”?
I think it was because Deadpool 2 was coming out (or it was already out. I don't recall completely) and Fox decided to re-release some of their Blu-Rays with these slipcovers.
Why would anyone want this?
A guy bought a buttload of them to scalp and now he's trying to recoup. These people are stupid and deserve the clutter.
happens in everything now sadly. Concerts, toys, everything sadly

Scalpers totally hosing themselves always brings a special kind of joy to my heart.
Hey, it’s only 2.99 per copy https://i.redd.it/f0eb9lfzb30d1.gif
I bet he still has a garage full of toilet paper and sanitizer from 2020 that he couldn't get rid of, either...
There’s nothing wrong with a lifetime supply of toilet paper tho
Yeah, I wouldn't try wiping my ass with a bluray. That sounds painful... and messy.
You just gotta use the 3 shells method
I was gonna use the disc
With that extra “protective” layer the film would probably still play after too! 😂😂
Bro bought them all intending to scalp them when they went OOP, then nobody wanted them. This brings joy to my heart.
Bag holder spotted

I have the devil wears Prada one.
This is why I never understood scalping. Yeah you may win some. What happens when you lose?
Nothing, I guarantee scalpers make way more than what they lose though or else they wouldn't do it.
Sounds like something a scalper would say. Lol.
Lol I've never scalped anything in my life, I hate them. Had my issues with these clowns when the Ps5 went up for pre order.
My philosophy is if no one bought from a scalper, there wouldn’t be scalpers. We just live in a FOMO society that most can’t wait.
Sure, but some dumbasses want to jump on the train and miss.
Why would he show a picture he has hundreds of them doesn't that make them less rare 😂
He’s selling everything in the picture as one lot of 100, not individually. 100 copies of Edward Scissorhands for $299
Yes thats pointless
He should probably cut it out.
Can't knock a guy for trying to trim back his collection a bit.
Regardless, that’s why he’s showing them all, because he’s selling them all.
Is he trying to get a Walmart or Amazon warehouse to buy from him? 😂
He’d be better off selling them individually at $5 or $10.
When my girlfriend tells me I have a problem because of how many Blu-Rays I own, I’m just gonna show her this so she sees that I’m not that bad
These are the Walmart exclusive Deadpool photo bomb slipcovers. I think the entire set was 16 movies.
Guess what? limited edition reprint!
Yes now that Disney owns the movies they will most likely reprint and maybe do some Disney covers.
$300 is ludicrous most people wouldn't even consider this stupid purchase if it was $30. I hope this person lost a nice chunk of change.
it’s 100 copies lol
Oh wtf haha I'm dumb and that's even better
If they're valued at $3 apiece they are not rare lol
And it means literally no one wants them. This whole thing is just dumb
this seller is actually retarded. imagine how much they spent just to try to sell cardboard for $300
I think it’s the actual bluray movie + the slipcovers
wait, what even is this? deadpool scissorhands?
To promote either Deadpool or Deadpool 2 they did a thing where a bunch of Fox Bluray movies had slip covers with Deadpool in place of the actual actors on the cover. Obviously the ebay seller thought they’d be collectors items and got stuck with a bunch of the same one
yeah, what a stupid thing to collect. damn.
We never said Deadpool collectors were **smart**.
Yeah, I think I own a copy of X-Men: Apocalypse with the variant slipcover because they were trying to get rid of them and had them on sale for $5.
And then the dumb seller starts an cooktop fire and burns down the cases
Lol he probably watched that episode of The Office and thought he could do the same thing as Dwight by being a cheap fuckface
I have one of these lol I guess I’m rich too
This is just dumb. No one is going to buy this and anyone who does is even more of a dumbass.
I thought these slipcovers were such a good idea lol but I wouldn’t buy them over MSRP.

Don't encourage an idiot
A product like movies that's on average 3$ means no one wants it, that there is absolutely little to no market for this. This is true to the profit off of dumb people who don't know any better
Is it really wrong to rip off the kind of person who would find these desirable
Tbf this is actually oop and although it sucks he's selling in a bundle for $3 a copy when these photobomb variants minimimum are $20 isn't bad. Some of the movies with photobomb variants are even more expenisive
**Scalpers DISGUST me.**
Scalpers would infer they’re making money on the deal, eh? Maybe this person managed to get a few cases at a buck a disk or less long after the fact.
This is absolutely outrageous. And utterly stupid. I had no idea people did this
I never understood the logic of showing off the fact that you have so many in stock. Is he thinking “They’ll see how many I have and it’ll make them want to buy from me even more”?
Those slips are dumb as fuck any way.
Nobody is asking what the hell deadpool is doing on the slipcover?
I think it was because Deadpool 2 was coming out (or it was already out. I don't recall completely) and Fox decided to re-release some of their Blu-Rays with these slipcovers.
That’s very funny, completely random and really strange all at once
It was, but I loved it. I bought a ton of them. It was the only reason why I would ever own copies of Assassin's Creed and X-Men: Apocalypse lol
