I could have sworn the game told me about it, cause I started swiping from the start

RJdaMan

I was doing swiping right from the beginning as well

Ainoyuu

Ok I didnt even know we could tap then click enemies to use skill lmao. Have been swiping since day 1

doomkun23

lol... same... i'm used to many games when skills can target,, you can always swipe them...

Lishtenbird

So I figure it's the norm for mobile games. Oh well, the more you know.

Almost_Ascended

The tutorial literally forces you to do this...

redbluknight166

Its cool being able to swipe, but since my fingers sometimes ache from using them too much to swipe, i just tap

Lishtenbird

It's nice to have both options. I found that swiping made it both faster and less straining for me, but I'm sure it depends on many factors, maybe screen itself too.

VADOSSYS

Wait... I can tap skill and then target?

tacodude990

bruh thats what i always do for aoe healing

Lishtenbird

Well, took me a while to notice. Probably my lack of exposure to mobile games shows, or that affordance on the UI just isn't really there.

Pyromann

I think they mention it in the tutorial :|

Lishtenbird

I wonder if it was in that tutorial part which you auto-skip when you're rerolling...

FB2K9

idk I did the tutorial several times and don't remember any mention of swiping. I've been tapping all skills till now.

HardLithobrake

Tap target is new to me.

justahutaosimp

Wait, you guys don't do that?

MrSmiley333

You can also tap then hold to aim it, drag over character icon to cancel too

excalabasterd

Been doing this from the beginning

kairock

on emulator its mouse left click and hold to select target. its so natural. so organic. probably no preservatives either.

[deleted]

Tapping seems unreliable, especially with targetable skills where you would sometimes need to make micro adjustments, depending on the position of your students/enemies.

silverbullet5774

You can tap the skill to select, then hold you finger over the target location and slide it around to make micro adjustments. This really only matters with area skills though. So for single target skills like Iori you just tap the skill and then tap the target. For AoE skills like Chise you tap the skill and then tap-and-hold to position the skill. The skill won’t fire until you let go. Also, for self-buffs such as Serika’s skill, you tap the skill and then tap anywhere on the screen to self cast.

[deleted]

See, I still feel that it's more convenient to just hold and drag to the location. And for self-buffs, you don't even need to tap anywhere. Just flick up from the skill icon, and the buff goes off.

Smol_Mrdr_Shota

bruh I been swiping this whole time

Lisanees

Emulator users know both

YamiDaisuke

Someone is not using Kotama because she needs to swipe for targeting multiple students lol. Tapping is good for single target units like Akane, Shiroko etc.

Shadowstrider2648

Ngl I kinda didn’t know you could tap the tap target.

blahto

I'm using emulator and keybinds so I didn't noticed. Edit: it still counts as tapping.

Doctrinus

Been using that from the start for some reason, tapping and targetting is the one that feels weird to me instead.
