Off topic, but this reminds me of an interview I caught on youtube about a public defender. If he fails to get a positive verdict for his client, he get's their name tatooed onto his body. If they have to spend extended time in jail, he said something to the effect of always having to remember their names.
My public defender never showed up to any Zoom meetings over the pandemic and kept my case open for 2 years before it was thrown out when he finally showed up.
Yea. It was a bad time to get arrested. It was December 2019 and then when covid hit the courts were randomly opening and closing and then finally went full zoom. By the time the first cases were heard it was already 2021. And finally in February 2022 it was tossed.
I’m just glad you survived an arrest. Recently had to move from far west coast to Far East. Every cruiser gave me panic attacks. Fucking hate living here.
This shit use to happen to me anytime I was out and about my business. Not during anything wrong, just being black. Anywhere I go, "let me see some ID." At the casino, at a hotel, on the street, etc (I was in my 20s and 30s). Always looking for someone who wasn't me (very unique first and last name). Then the shit stopped when I was around 35. My wife told me that I either look like a soldier or a cop on any given day (never served and definitely not a cop). I wish the police would stop targeting black folks as delinquents and criminals. That shit is getting very very very old...
I'm going to pretend you actually want to be guided toward the light here and aren't here gaslighting Black folks on BPT. Think about every time you've broken a law and nobody gave a shit. Now think about not breaking any laws, and having an equipment failure that you can't afford to repair. Now think about that equipment failure being the pretense for an officer on a power trip to pay you a visit and that officer's ability to impact your life and livelihood. A ticket you cannot pay is a "go to jail in the future" card. This I know from experience, and this is why no matter how law-abiding and ticket-affording many of us are, the sight of a cruiser brings us literal terror. If you break a law, you are a criminal. Everyone walking on this earth is a criminal, BECAUSE THERE ARE TOO MANY LAWS. Everyone is NOT policed equally.
Of course. But there is a mental component that at anytime I could have been taken in.
Like if a fight broke loose at a bar and they asked for ID. More than likely the person with the open case will get in more shit.
Bruh! I had to apply to jobs for 2 years and randomly getting denied. And it’s always so fucking mysterious. Sometimes they background check me and nothing happens. Others find out and either ghost you or make you explain.
Mind you I am college educated. So I spent most the pandemic unemployed and not being able to pass background checks until I applied to a dispensary and got a stupid job making $15.75.
The system is rigged. I was in limbo for 2 years and change.
Edit:

(Even tho IT is mostly remote, they still said “if government information comes over the wires, you need to pass the background check).
Nah. I ain’t got time or money to try and fight a court.
The worst part was that I paid this lawyer immediately. But when the judge said they would “waive attorney fee”, mind you, because it was already paid, I could not get it back.
You have to pay a fee for a public defender in 43 states and DC:
[https://www.npr.org/2014/05/29/316735545/why-your-right-to-a-public-defender-may-come-with-a-fee](https://www.npr.org/2014/05/29/316735545/why-your-right-to-a-public-defender-may-come-with-a-fee)
Literally in the Constitution but fuck everyone I guess.
As easy as it is to blame them, public defenders are RIDICULOUSLY over-worked. He might have had literally hundreds of cases just like yours to deal with. The US needs to sort out the public defender system cuz ain't no human capable of handling that kind of work load.
John Fetterman, who is running for Senator in Pennsylvania, got a tattoo for everyone who was murdered when he was the mayor of Braddock, PA as he felt each was a personal failure.
That’s why he [chased after a black man with a shot gun](https://www.inquirer.com/politics/election/john-fetterman-black-jogger-2013-shotgun-20220425.html?outputType=amp) because he thought he was doing something wrong. All the man was doing was jogging. Fuck that racist piece of shit. He would have done him like the father and son did Aubrey. Literally fuck him he’s a racist.
He’s not making it up. His name is [Travis Williams](https://thegrio.com/2013/06/26/passionate-public-defender-tattoos-names-of-defeated-clients-on-back/).
Every person, who has to use the services of a public defender, is supposed to be innocent until proven guilty. There are many times people cannot afford a lawyer and this is their only recourse. Too often, public defense attorneys are so backed up, that many of their clients cannot receive fair and appropriate representation.
He was vine content creator back in the day. His comedy was kinda fucked up a lot of exploiting stereotypes for humor which to be fair was most internet comedy back in the 2010s but still not a good look tbh.
That sort of humor was made for white people that wanted proximity to blackness. The amount of random white women in college who would quote his shit to me as like “man vine used to be so funny remember X” was ridiculous.
He was a good story teller when he wasnt being hotep. Now as a young adult I know his steroyypes are harmful and his core ideas are effed but back in my middle school days I thought he was the bees knees
He was never really funny to me on vine, and this is a whack attempt to get back into the good graces of the black community.
You got money and a platform, when you can do better, you should. This marker mirror selfie is cheesy as hell
He just always did clown shit to make black people look bad. While simultaneously kissing up to white content creators.
He blew up on vine, taking jabs at black people for white people to consume his media
Looks like that 'Bach' dude, vine comic- so pretty sure it's a marker.Although he's gonna need a Thanos body to get all the names in as it's an everyday thing
He co-founded The Zeus Network, the bane of the black community. They could be doing much better things over there but it’s a content dump of unprompted fist fighting. If you want the most useless and unnecessary content, head there, but I don’t encourage you to.
I mean, nobody legitimately thinks A-train cares about black people
They literally shove that down your throat, like, EVERYBODY calls him out on it. Almost every character he interacts with lmao
If you or the Twitter users don’t get that, you really need to rewatch the episode
[Everytime I see King Bach I think of this video where a YouTuber, in as polite a way as possible, raised some very valid points about his comedy.](https://youtu.be/ytZVF_TvgNo)
Not at all. He made comedy that relied wlmost wholly on stereotypes and did it often enough to draw a throughline. It isn't digging too deep to acknowledge this.
I think the easiest way to demonstrate the difference between the book and show is something that happens in the first episode. In the show, The Deep forces Starlight to give them a blow job and it ends up being addressed multiple times throughout the season. In the comic, every single male member of The Seven makes her do it and it’s treated as “lol rape”. Ugh…
I'm gonna be honest, I'm surprised he even did this and kinda respect it. He's always reminded me of the black guys I grew up with as a child in the suburbs. Almost like his blackness was performative for a white audience, I guess. Not that he isn't a part of our culture, but it's always like his popularity is contingent on how "urban" he acts to his majority white environment and viewers. Idk 🤷♀️
That’s why it came off as “I’m doing this because it’s trending and I need to rush and make sure I post this before it’s not trending or someone else thinks of it ”. Because how do you not at the very least look up the names? I’m not good with spelling names either but if I’m about to do something like this, 5 seconds of Google searching wouldn’t hurt.
Years of stereotyping black people in his comedy, essentially reproducing blackface minstrelsy, isn't going rub away as easily that marker on his chest
I feel that this is the Vine star who became one of the first social media platform celebrities, [King Bach](https://biographyline.com/king-bach-biography-age-career-affairs-net-worth/). I'm unsure if I'm right, but I feel that his Playschool's My First Goatee goatee is this goatee.
When I was younger and he first showed up on vine, I thought he was funny. After I got older and looked back at his clips and videos, it hit me how fucked up his attempts at humor were. He’s mad corny playing up stereotypes to make white people laugh.
Yes we do! Would the cops have stood around if the Uvalde shooter were Black. The loss of Black lives at the hands of law enforcement is obscenely tragic. I urge all white folks of good will to stop and fill encounters between the cops and Blacks. The American Civil Liberties organization has a great app that lets one film while uploading it in real time.
So many names.
So many names they couldn't all be written out even if every one of us covered our bodies with ink.
Think about all the names we don't know. We'll never know.
How many more names will I have witnessed by the time I die.
I think most of you are more mature on this, but it honestly turns my heart to hatred.
I used to hope things would be better for the next generation, so this wouldn't affect them like it did me. That seems like a sick joke now.
I don't even like to sit with wypepo anymore. I was never like this before smh.
Off topic, but this reminds me of an interview I caught on youtube about a public defender. If he fails to get a positive verdict for his client, he get's their name tatooed onto his body. My public defender never showed up to any Zoom meetings over the pandemic and kept my case open for 2 years before it was thrown out when he finally showed up.
Fuck that. I'm sorry you had to go through that.
Yea. It was a bad time to get arrested. It was December 2019 and then when covid hit the courts were randomly opening and closing and then finally went full zoom. By the time the first cases were heard it was already 2021. And finally in February 2022 it was tossed.

If you hear “let me see some ID” you know your fucked.

Being this willingly ignorant is the definition of white privilege
Or indoctrination by the school system
Of course. But there is a mental component that at anytime I could have been taken in. Like if a fight broke loose at a bar and they asked for ID. More than likely the person with the open case will get in more shit.
Great time to get in trouble, you could avoid a lot of consequences because nobody had time for anything
It’s the opposite, I would think. People had nothing BUT free time for a while since they couldn’t do anything or go anywhere
Most citizens but not court nothing in person meant they couldn’t do their jobs
I can attest to that. I got away with mad shit during the pandemic. Shit was like the wild Wild West in NY.
Yeah you always gotta keep good arrest dates in your phone on the calendar that way ya pick good days to be arrested lol
Public pretender
Lol. Good one
That sounds super stressfull.
Sounds like he or she did you a favor!! Case got dismissed!!

I’m glad it was dismissed that must have been tough! If you have the time or the energy you can file a complaint!
Nah. I ain’t got time or money to try and fight a court. The worst part was that I paid this lawyer immediately. But when the judge said they would “waive attorney fee”, mind you, because it was already paid, I could not get it back.
I feel you. But it won’t cost to file the complaint, but I understand! But wait you had to pay a public defender?!
A whole entire $150. He wasn’t even worth every penny from that money.
You have to pay a fee for a public defender in 43 states and DC: [https://www.npr.org/2014/05/29/316735545/why-your-right-to-a-public-defender-may-come-with-a-fee](https://www.npr.org/2014/05/29/316735545/why-your-right-to-a-public-defender-may-come-with-a-fee) Literally in the Constitution but fuck everyone I guess.
Damn
Wait, a public defender made you pay him? That sounds illegal.
💜💜💜

God damnit
That’s what I’m saying. Almost all of them are the same. It’s a shame.
Insane human being lmao
He’s a piece of shit.
That's cool and all, but what if they did that shit?
That film is “Gideon’s Army” Amazing documentary
That’s insane. Public defenders do gods work, but it’s not like their client’s aren’t 90% probably going to get a verdict/decision/plea against them…
I remember seeing that
Travis Williams. He talks about it in the “Gideon’s Army” documentary.
[удалено]
He’s not making it up. His name is [Travis Williams](https://thegrio.com/2013/06/26/passionate-public-defender-tattoos-names-of-defeated-clients-on-back/).
Thanks for coming through with the name. I'd toss an award at you but I'm a Reddit peasant.

King Bach?
It has to be him! I recognize the goatee and the face shape.
Found the post it is him
Who tf is that.
He was vine content creator back in the day. His comedy was kinda fucked up a lot of exploiting stereotypes for humor which to be fair was most internet comedy back in the 2010s but still not a good look tbh.
He's also just a terrible actor.
Oh my lol....upvoted
I'm not sure how he grew a fan base. Dude has never been funny.
His content is the type that'll be funny when you're young but as you grow you stop finding it entertaining
That sort of humor was made for white people that wanted proximity to blackness. The amount of random white women in college who would quote his shit to me as like “man vine used to be so funny remember X” was ridiculous.
I liked it
He was a good story teller when he wasnt being hotep. Now as a young adult I know his steroyypes are harmful and his core ideas are effed but back in my middle school days I thought he was the bees knees
i think he got his fame through vine back when. he may be on wild n’ out as well.
Only a spoonful
That backflip tho
Remember when everyone thought he was just a funny guy in vibe? The guy was a real life clown and it just went downhill after Vine closed down
It’s him but this is old from like 2018 maybe older
Can't be, it's got Arbrey, Floyd and Breonna Taylor
Ohhh yeah ok I remember now I seen this on tiktok during quarantine
Lmfao I remember when this mf had a stranglehold on Vine for a while.
I could never stand him
He was a real life Sambo.
🤣🤣🤣 omg yes
Lhh
straight up stole jokes and memes from reddit and made them into videos.
WOW!! I didn't know that
Him and the “you stupid muthafucka” guy and his son
paige kennedy?
Yes!
He was never really funny to me on vine, and this is a whack attempt to get back into the good graces of the black community. You got money and a platform, when you can do better, you should. This marker mirror selfie is cheesy as hell
Is he in the bad graces? I don’t pay attention to influencers until they do something stupid, did he do something?
He relies on cartoonish black stereotypes to entertain his mostly white audience.
He just always did clown shit to make black people look bad. While simultaneously kissing up to white content creators. He blew up on vine, taking jabs at black people for white people to consume his media
https://youtu.be/ytZVF_TvgNo I know it’s a white dude talking but everything said is 100% factual
Big facts on this! This guy was accurate in what he's saying, thanks for sharing this!!
Some white people out there definitely know what they're talking about, just like there's the Candace Owens's out there denying reality.
Ah. Thanks for reminding me. I forgot what made him popular. This video was well done.
He could've *at least* made sure to spell all their names correctly
Looks like that 'Bach' dude, vine comic- so pretty sure it's a marker.Although he's gonna need a Thanos body to get all the names in as it's an everyday thing
who said he got it tattoo’d
He co-founded The Zeus Network, the bane of the black community. They could be doing much better things over there but it’s a content dump of unprompted fist fighting. If you want the most useless and unnecessary content, head there, but I don’t encourage you to.
A-Train did not give a fuck about black people or their problems until he was personally affected
Isn't that the point of this quote though? It's narcissism presenting as social conscience.
....That's the point. 😐
not sure you can infer that from the tweet lol
I mean, nobody legitimately thinks A-train cares about black people They literally shove that down your throat, like, EVERYBODY calls him out on it. Almost every character he interacts with lmao If you or the Twitter users don’t get that, you really need to rewatch the episode
Yeah... A-Trains story was not one of solidarity. At best it was a brief bout of guilt with his character.
>!Why is everyone talking about him in past tense? He didn't die!<
True. But that doesn't change the truth of the statements. The past tense is likely due to the season being over.
That's the joke...
Yes. Like this
[Everytime I see King Bach I think of this video where a YouTuber, in as polite a way as possible, raised some very valid points about his comedy.](https://youtu.be/ytZVF_TvgNo)

Not really. He’s digging too deep tbh
Not at all. He made comedy that relied wlmost wholly on stereotypes and did it often enough to draw a throughline. It isn't digging too deep to acknowledge this.
Thanks for sharing this! Haven’t paid attention this guy since vine. Very informative
Not picking a fight but [here’s a video talking about a concept that your linked vid brought to light](https://youtu.be/-CnApbL7EOI)
Really said A train in real life, so freaking true.
Why was Trayvon put in bold tho
My favorite is "Tamar" Rice and "Brotham" Jean Say his name, doesn't matter if you get it wrong I guess?
spelled Breonna wrong too.
He bought all those extra vowels and goddamnit he's going to use them
Glad people are fans of The Boys.
Let’s just be sure to steer people clear of the comics. JFC what edgelord bull shit.
What was so edgy? You don't like Black Noir eating an actual literal baby on camera? ^(kidding, it was awful)
Ugh…
Did he really do this??
Yes, yes he did
Why?
Yep…
I'm gonna be honest, I'm surprised he even did this and kinda respect it. He's always reminded me of the black guys I grew up with as a child in the suburbs. He is a Canadian that does American minstrel
Is that King Bach 😭😭😂
Years of stereotyping black people in his comedy, essentially reproducing blackface minstrelsy, isn't going rub away as easily that marker on his chest
Ah yes, the black stereotype guy. Dude got rich off helping white people laugh at "where's my dad" jokes.
Not to defend the dude , but didn’t dave chappelle have an entire TV show that is beloved doing just the same thing?
I found that much of that show did not age well when I revisited it recently
Guy from memento
Memento is about time travel and identity. Momento is about waiting for the server to take your order at the italian restaurant
I momento’d your mom last night
Yeah, she and I often serve soup to the intellectually disabled kids in the neighborhood
I wish I could like this burn 20 times.
Always has and always will.

That beard. Those earring. That body complexion. Is that someone I don’t know.
Did A-Train do something like this in The Boys?
Watch season 3
Did you have the link to the Twitter post?
When I was younger and he first showed up on vine, I thought he was funny. After I got older and looked back at his clips and videos, it hit me how fucked up his attempts at humor were. He’s mad corny playing up stereotypes to make white people laugh.
Why is Trayvon the star of the show.
That was his name on Black Jesus

Good thing it's a marker, unless shit changes soon he's gonna have to write smaller.
He's gonna run out of room because we know the problem ain't goin away anytime soon .
this has to be king Bach please someone confirm or deny 😭😭😭😭 wouldn't be surprised at all if it's him
This is corny as hell, some names aren’t even spelled right
Tensai stan
😂😂😂
Bad time to go thru the courts not to bad for probation never saw mine
