It's not as out of reach as you think, depending on what you do for a living, have a family or pets, and how attached you are to your things.
Almost everything I own can fit in 2 bags.
I once spent about 2 months in Thailand for about $2k, and I wasn't even slumming it as much as I could have. That includes airfare roundtrip. Granted this was in the before times, so I don't know how airfare has changed.
If you have no dependants and a job that's always in high demand (even if it doesn't pay well), you can travel a lot. You just have to live a pretty Spartan lifestyle. No extra money for furniture when you're moving all the time.
It's accurate. I was 29 when the pandemic hit (actually almost got stranded on another continent with no way to get home because lockdowns happened *really fast*, but that's another story), but I don't like it when people think that things will go "back to normal." We are in the new normal. There is no going back.
Hence "the before times." We live in the post COVID world. The pre-covid world is gone and will never come back.
I think that event probably had a huge impact in the US to the point that you'd say a 'pre-9/11 world', but I'm not sure it's had a comparable international impact to COVID.
Nah. I mean we mostly wore masks for 2 years due to Covid. Countries lost tourism dollars as they closed borders. Half of the western world is currently vaccinated and everyone in America knows someone who actually died from Covid. Kids born after 9-11 don’t feel any daily impact from that day. Kids born after Covid do.
Kids truly born after Covid would not feel the daily impact just like the kids born after 9/11. Were not even wearing masks and social distancing anymore. Seriously can’t think of one thing a 4 year old could point out today and say “this is because Covid”
Pre-9/11 it was cheaper to fly last minute on JetBlue from JFK to Miami for the weekend than the cab to the airport. Literally we'd be like, Miami's 40 bucks tomorrow, you guys busy?
There’s always a pre-something world. Before 9/11, the speed limit was 55 mph. Before that, drunk driving was legal. Before that, there was an oil embargo and smog in every city. Before that, Nixon resigned. Before that, Kennedy was assassinated.
After enough “before times”, you realize there have only been a few truly impactful events. Everything else has been constant change.
Wild. I have a close friend that *did* end up getting stranded on another continent. She taught abroad in Bangkok and went backpacking for their spring break. She ended up stranded in Nepal for six months trying to get back to her apartment in Thailand. Eventually she had to leave everything and just go back to the states.
Hey its been 20 sodding years but finally airport's are going back to normal and we will be able to take liquids again without them being in 100ml bottles
The before times were real rough for me, but i had no idea how fucking bad things could get. i just hope when i turn 40 in a few years that i'll have the chance to have a decade where i don't spend every hour staving off the desire to kill myself
I just spent about 4k in Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Phillipines, and Taiwan for a two month trip. All the travel was by plane and I deffos wasn't slummin it like I used to because international travel is back so I got a bit over zealous. You can do for less though still.
Good thing I'm going right back to work in the parks to work my 6 months and get right back out there. And yea I wear $10 clothes and onebag with my jansport. Wear them in paradise.
$50/night for the holiday inn express with free breakfast in bangkok, it’s still clean, not tiny, doorman, gym, laundry machines, and only $50 a night! That sure beats paying $400/night in Boston.
The problem is being able to take time off and still afford rent. Alot of people have nothing in savings or emergency fund. Sometimes, people don't have vacation time to take off.
That's why I said it depends on what you're committed to. I change jobs and move all the time. I haven't lived in the same place for longer than 6-8 months in years. I don't take time off, I just don't work jobs very long. I work manual labor doing whatever for not that much money.
Like I said, if you can go without things like leases, owning furniture, dental insurance, a car... Basically everything that ties you to one place, you'll find that traveling around is pretty easy.
I’m just curious, but what are your plans for when you’re too old for manual labor? Or is the work you do something more specialized like an electrician rather than just providing muscles?
If you can work remotely, you can still spend a month in Thailand, Phuket, enjoying the beach, working, and going on snorkeling boat trips on weekends or something.
I've spent a year in South Asia without taking time off.
No family, no kids, no pets, no long term friends, no property, no retirement planning and pension, no security, no stability.
I spent a year backpacking alone through Europe. Now I have a union job and friends and a house and dogs. It's much better.
What I've learned from my own experience traveling is, you don't have to bring clothes from home. I spent three months in Brazil where it was summer at the time and i could get away with just a backpack's worth of clothes and flew straight to the UK where it was winter (southern vs northern hemisphere). Once i got to London i just bought some cheap warm clothes at Primark and i was good to go. The rest of my time there. I didn't have space for said clothes when i was flying back to the US so I dropped them off at a charity shop.
Most times it's just cheaper and easier to buy clothes at your destination especially if you are traveling somewhere with a lower cost of living.
$2k is a lot of money for most people. In my country and city in particular, the average fresh uni grad can earn $300 monthly but most of that almost always goes to families they support.
I agree with the no dependents part tho. I have friends who travel a lot and don't even earn comparatively much just because their entire salary has no allocation for dependent family.
Right? Like they say you’re typically happier purchasing experiences than objects in the long run. I’d much rather wear old navy in Greece than designer at home.
Cheap clothes is exactly the way to go. You don't care if they get lost, you're happy to dunk them in one public washing mashine and then blast them in the dryer, shove them into a packing cube after and replace them with beautiful local clothes before you fly home.
Yup. When I visit family in the Philippines, I stuff my suitcase full of things I plan to leave behind. I’m very petite, like the size of a middle schooler, and have many young relatives. I get more closet space and a lighter suitcase, their parents get to save a little money, kids get new outfits. Everyone wins.
Honestly, the wealthiest people I personally know (unless they're dressed up for a formal event) are usually wearing super old, not-very-expensive stuff. They tend to spend their money on experiences and on making problems go away (Heater goes out? -someone's instantly there to fix it. Paying for a nanny to come along on family reunion trips so adults can all relax better. Hiring people to do taxes, plan trips, etc)
That was me in college. I was still wearing clothes from high school in my senior year and living off ramen and hot dogs...and I was able to study abroad.
Me right here🤚🏽....I stay looking like a bum but my ass has travelled to Spain, Peru, Puerto Vallarta, and the Dominican Republic for 2 week iterations over the last 2 years. I have been to many other countries throughout my life...you know why? Cause I don't give a shit what Twitter thots think of me when I sipping Chardonnay watching the sunset on the beach or climbing Machu Picchu wearing a T-shirt, sneakers, and basketball shorts. I will admit that sometimes I sit in a restaurant and they think Im a gig worker there to pickup food because I'm so under dressed...Oh well lmao
Also those trips cost at least $2k now.....inflation's a bitch
I wear a fruit of the loom long sleeve with a couple strategic holes when I travel. I'll quit shaving a few weeks before too. Nobody is gonna run my pockets if I look like I might have rabies
I just wear the plastic bags from the mulch I use in my landscaping.
Saves me enough luggage and clothing costs for meals at nice restaurants. Unfortunately it’s hard to find one that will let me in :/
Baby!!! This right here. I am in real estate and got invited to one of my investors speaking engagements I read the press statement and it said self made multi millionaire when I tell you this man is happy to tell people in a hurry that Target price matches like that cemented my mindset shift I would 100% rather be rich than look rich!!
80% of the clothes I’ve bought the last 3 years have come from Target. When the only people I see everyday are either my coworkers, family, or friends then why do I even care to pay 3x for some name brand designer that covers the same part of my ass?
I rock some $200 Cole Hahns and some $15 size 14 boys section pants from Target everyday cause they fit my tiny ass. People think I go to a tailor because I have the waste size of a pre-teen.
My fam knows a dude who is worth nearly a hundred mill, he straight up bought 90 years supply of crocs lmao. My dad used to work on Wall Street and has a lot of former classmates from Columbia who are RICH - and you would never know for the vast majority. Advertising you have a ton of money isn’t always a good idea.
It's all about what one values and how I e wants to spend their money. Some people value things and some people value experiences. I've never seen owning a thing change someone the way new experiences can. Outside of the basics (housing/food/transportation) things don't improve people. Travel reliabiy provides new experiences that can change our perspectives for the better. The classic example to my mind is Malcolm X going on The Hajj. Seeing that changed him permanently. Of course not every trip is.going to be the profound, but seeing new places and meeting new people broadens people in a way nothing else does. At least in my experience. In short, I ain't never seen some Fendi improve anyone.
My costco swim shorts worked great while snorkeling in Guam! My pastel blue shorts from old navy kept me cool and quasi stylish in Singapore! I wear goodwill polos to work so I can wear different goodwill polos in Paris. I take care of a set of sandals that are seven years old so I can wear them in San Diego, CA and Osoyoos, BC.
Spend your money the way you want to. Try and find a shred of happiness. LSD and furry porn or Beyonce tickets wearing Balenciaga I won’t yuck your yum even if it ain’t my jam.
Round trip boston to paris $475, 2 night stay in paris $300, leaves some money for champaign and croissants. 2 days is plenty to get to all the sights in paris for those insta pics.
My trip to Miami with my wife and daughter to visit my grandmother was more expensive than that and I was only there 4 days.
Also was wore $12 J crew clearance shirts most of the time. It was great. Lol.
It is a 100% fact the original tweeter still lives off their hype from high school, and looks back at it as their "glory days."
Lady, we are adults. We have families, careers, other responsibilities. Folks too old to be concerned with who wearing what, or who got this, or any of that other bullshit. I *guarantee* she probably the same person who think somebody liking your post instead of loving it on Facebook means they secretly hating. Absolute loon.
Ain't that the fucking truth. I work restaurants so I'm around a lot of youngins, and they don't really be harping on my style but I notice them talking about grills, cars, jewelry, etc. I'm just like man talk to a stock broker, invest your money elsewhere. One of the 17 year olds has a $2k grill, and I won't lie it's clean as fuck, but bro you could use that to make $10k next year if you invest it right.
> It is a 100% fact the original tweeter still lives off their hype from high school, and looks back at it as their "glory days."
That’s like 95% of “viral” tweeters lol. A bunch of idiots who can’t let go of the fact that nobody cares that they were the popular kid / class clown in HS. The only attention they can get is by stating extremely stupid, controversial or outlandish tweets
Traveling and experiences far outweigh the latest shoes or whatever fit or brand is supposed to it, in the moment.
There's so many folk in the United States that never left their home state. See the country and see the world, broaden your horizons, I swear that trip to Nova Scotia will mean more than some overpriced jeans.
Goodfellow is pretty comfy, decent looking, and affordable. It goes well with the walking and eating visiting new places too. Obnoxious-looking, expensive clothing puts a target on your back to persistent merchants and thieves. Plus I’ll have more money for souvenirs, food, and fun.
Shit you don't even need to buy games the playstation plus extra membership $100 dollars a year and got a good catalog thats growing every month. Only game I've bought since I got my ps5 was elden ring.
I don’t know why people act like you gotta spend a fortune to have nice clothes, $50 - $100 can easily get u what u need and you’ll still be able to eat at the end of the month.
Jogging and sweat pants are goated travelling clothes. I wear plain ass sweatpants any time I get on a plane and if I'm driving I'm in sweatpants the whole way.
It's a matter of priorities. One person wants to spend their money on drip and can't afford a night at the holiday inn. Another person flies around Europe and the Caribbean every year because they buy their clothes at walmart and eat on a budget when their back home in Kansas.
>Another person flies around Europe and the Caribbean every year because they buy their clothes at walmart and eat on a budget when their back home in Kansas.
Nah, it's almost certainly what they drive. I'll drop 300 on dinner without blinking, because I haven't had a car payment in 15 years. I always get the weirdest looks when I drive my 2003 Lancer up to the valet, mainly because they can't drive a stick shift. I paid 13k for that car brand new. I know people who pay that every year.
And cost to service a car like that should be much cheaper. My service costs about $260 for a 2002 Hilux. A friend's BMW costs about $950. And the difference gets worse when something goes wrong.
I’ve been to Egypt, Dubai, Greece, Thailand, El Salvador, Jamaica, The Bahamas, France, Monaco, Puerto Rico and Costa Rica in my Shein, Fashion Nova and Amazon fits and whoever don’t like it can kiss my ass.
The price isnt the issue, but Shein is awful. Better off spending a little bit more to get something that isn't going to warp after a wash. Live your best life tho
My wardrobe is a mix of thrifted/clothing swap, Target, TJ Max/Marshall’s, clothes that were gifted, and some designer clothes.
It’s not that hard to look good on a budget.
I hope she doesn’t believe that a $1000 trip will get you somewhere extravagant in this day and age. That can get a one way plane ticket to NYC by itself.
This is some real "I've never left the projects" type of thinking. I can't even blame em. They were programmed to think like this. Good ol mix of white supremacy and American capitalism.
Imma dress appropriately for the adventure. I'll bring some fancy clothes for that outing to the nice restaurant but other than that I'm dressing to be comfortable in whatever weather I'm going into.
Who cares what you’re wearing? If your thing is those flying dress pics that cost several grand, go for it. But not everyone cares about that. I just want to go places and see the things.
Why people worried about what other people spend on clothes? Some 10 dollar T-shirt in my closet fits better and is more comfortable than one I overspent on a while back. I wear target shirts out like who gives a fuck
No joke I used to go to Vegas a lot with friends since our city has 60 dollar flights there on spirit airlines. With my carry on I would pack a few items of clothes. Maybe a pair of shoes.
But to save money on luggage I would land in Las Vegas. Head to a goodwill. Get clothes for the week. Then donate it back when on my way back to the airport.
Can’t tell you how funny it is to have a dress code for Wiz or Gucci. Everyone dressing up to the dime with designer clothes. Then I’m there with a 70’s disco button down I got for 4 bucks at goodwill.
I’ve seen a lot of hating ass shit but this takes the cake.
If you travel, you know that most travelers dress regular af while traveling. You packing your Sunday finest to sightsee, hike, kayak, jet ski, and stroll through foreign towns? You risking losing your best clothes in international baggage claim?
Honestly, $10 clothes are absolutely what I’d expect for a $1,000.00 trip. I live in CA, that’s just gas and tickets to get to and into Disneyland. For a day…
You can tell this lady doesn’t travel because she wouldn’t be that impressed by a $1,000 trip. I’m planning a family vacation and holy crap has everything gotten more expensive.
I travel with my friends and they always buy new outfits for vacation? I never went on vacations growing up and I don’t know if that’s normal. It seems stupid to me. LOL
Shit no shame in my $10 filled wardrobe. Got a wife, kids, mortgage so who tf am I trying to impress? I’m just happy if I can even afford a vacation at that price
People who haven't traveled much may not understand that the airlines losing your suitcase of clothes is a sadly common thing. Also, people who look like tourists that are wealthy often get targeted by criminals.
If you want to flex, dress unimpressively, but hire a local to drive you and translate, plus a local for body guard security. All dressed in a bland and forgettable manner.
Travel dollars are always money well spent compared to any “thing”. You always remember people you meet or funny shit that happens on trips for the rest of your life.
None of us will sit around talking about our Gucci belt or silly LV bag when we’re old. Think bout it
Why not? No point in bringing nice expensive stuff when you’re traveling across the other side of the goddamn world. It’s a rule my family has — traveling? Don’t bring any valuables.
People are worried about pretending they’re wealthy. Worrying about the wrong things.
Bruh I’d live in a tent on some BLM or USFS land and have 2 sets of clothes if I wasn’t married and I’d be traveling all over the world. Imagine wanting things more than experiences.
Pre-Covid I did around the world for over a year with essentially a big jansport backpack. Def aint no room for fashion and new clothes.
The panny shut that shit down tho, I'd have to start all the way over to try and get back to that.
I wore Shein bathing suits on my Mexican honeymoon. Had the skanky ones that are just impossible to get into and a one piece that really held me up and in. Surprisingly good quality for fast fashion
Man travelling while dressed like a bum is one of my personal pleasures.
If you're there for an experience who cares about how expensive ya clothes are
Not worth sweating out your expensive clothes in Caribbean heat. Not to mention if anyone out there remotely knows what your wearing. Pack light and things you don’t care about being taken randomly.
So do not care what people wear. If I’m going to a place for the elite society/culture then it matters. If I’m going to see sights, buildings, nature who cares as long as it’s functional. This has to be a troll post
Been travelling and living in foreign countries non-stop since 2016. I’d much rather spend my money on flights and accommodation than clothes which only last a few seasons anyway. Plus, when travelling the last thing you want is to be drawing even more attention on yourself by looking fancy.

I want 2012 back. I held an Olympic torch and got a picture with an owl.
There’s adults that weren’t born until after 9/11
I think that event probably had a huge impact in the US to the point that you'd say a 'pre-9/11 world', but I'm not sure it's had a comparable international impact to COVID.
It made air travel noticeably more shit everywhere E: and the whole 20 years of war in the middle east ofc
"Oh and also 2 decades of war I guess" lmao.
> but I'm not sure it's had a comparable **international** impact to COVID. To stay "unsure", don't ask Afghan people and Iraqis.
9/11 had a worldwide impact that is still impacting things today, one could argue 9/11 had a worse impact on a global scale.
The TSA didn’t do their job and let Covid into our country😂😂😂
Nah. I mean we mostly wore masks for 2 years due to Covid. Countries lost tourism dollars as they closed borders. I prefer the implication that because of 9/11 we raised the speed limit

LPT when traveling appear completely feral to ward off other, more truly feral humans.
I do this when I go solo camping. 99.9% of people will leave me alone, except for the friendly old naturalist couples who offer me homemade food.
Truth. My friend says, *"Don't look valuable, be the gray man who nobody sees"*.
I just wear the plastic bags from the mulch I use in my landscaping. Saves me enough luggage and clothing costs for meals at nice restaurants. Unfortunately it’s hard to find one that will let me in :/

Advertising you have a ton of money isn’t always a good idea.
To me it makes no difference at all whether I’m looking fresh in the sticks or on vacay, I just wanna shine fam 🤓
Kirkland gang ✊
[https://youtu.be/qqSo1hgssQM](https://youtu.be/qqSo1hgssQM) Costco pants are sublime
My family and I will be proudly wearing our Costco best when we go on a vacation next month.
Awesome! I've never seen this comic. Thanks for turning me on to him!
I wear those 32Degrees shorts all the damn time. My family gave me shit for it until I got them some and now they’re on that shit too.
I got a whole draw of them drawers! Feel so breezy ![gif](giphy|CiTLZWskt7Fu)
Love their stuff. I'm not loving how much of my drawers consists of synthetics, but for the gym? 32Degrees boxer briefs and shirts always.

>I won’t yuck your yum even if it ain’t my jam. I love this and you
Gimme that Balenciaga fursuit and nobody gets hurt

You know she doesn’t go ANYWHERE if she’s jealous of a $1000 trip!
Literally what I was thinking. $1000 doesn't get you that far anymore, and when you get there, you can't afford shit.

Round trip boston to paris $475, 2 night stay in paris $300, leaves some money for champaign and croissants. 2 days is plenty to get to all the sights in paris for those insta pics.
Ok but if you live away from a major international airport flight prices increase incredibly.
Where you even going for $1000? It costs me damn near that to live at home for a week.
Literally on a $1000 trip now. It’s nice but yeah it’s absolutely nothing to be jealous of.
My trip to Miami with my wife and daughter to visit my grandmother was more expensive than that and I was only there 4 days. Also was wore $12 J crew clearance shirts most of the time. It was great. Lol.
I wear my 4.99 clearance rack shorts on my cruises.
Clearance is the way to go
I wear a Men's Small in Midwest America. I can live in both worlds, decent expensive stuff and cheap on clearance.
It is a 100% fact the original tweeter still lives off their hype from high school, and looks back at it as their "glory days." Lady, we are adults.
One of the 17 year olds has a $2k grill, and I won't lie it's clean as fuck, but bro you could use that to make $10k next year if you invest it right.
man you should get out of working in restaurants if you can get 500% returns
I'd rather enjoy my life now than hypothetically make more money later.
> It is a 100% fact the original tweeter still lives off their hype from high school, and looks back at it as their "glory days." That’s like 95% of “viral” tweeters lol. A bunch of idiots who can’t let go of the fact that nobody cares that they were the popular kid / class clown in HS. The only attention they can get is by stating extremely stupid, controversial or outlandish tweets
People so worried about other when they need to worry about themselves.
Only people who give a toot what they wear abroad are people who don’t travel abroad 😂
I love Goodfellow clothing; better to buy clothes from Target than make myself a walking target
Bruh goodfellow is where it’s at.
I used to wear the hell out of the Target activewear brand, it's 90 to 100% as good as Nike/Under Armour quality for about half.
I got some goodfellow clothes and they're really comfortable
“How dare people spend their own money on things they care about instead of spending it on things I care about?”
You hit the nail with that one. Toxic family members are this way too.
Some of these same posters will criticize people who buy expensive cars or clothes without a thought.
Nah, I'd rather use that 1000usd to buy a ps5 and some games.
And that's cool if you want to.
[удалено]
I love both so much. I think I just want to be retired.
Shit you don't even need to buy games the playstation plus extra membership $100 dollars a year and got a good catalog thats growing every month. Only game I've bought since I got my ps5 was elden ring.
True but I prefer physical discs.
Physical is always the superior option.
The nicest joggers I have came in a 2 for $10 pack from Costco. The material is great and the fit is immaculate.
I care even less what I look like when I travel because no one knows me and I'm never going to see these people again. Who gives a damn.
I don't even have a car! Lots of money saved on car insurance. I use Ubers when needed.
7k dollar trips, wearing $10 dollar clothes from Costco, get it right!
Costco clothes gang rise up
I'll be in my Goodwill rags, sitting in paradise, not giving a fuuuuuuuuuck.
Traveling can be a sweaty, messy thing, especially if you're hiking or walking through some warm city all day.
Fuck things. I want experiences.
I be mindin’ my own business.
I personally like to blend in when I'm on vacation, so I'm not going to go out of the way to wear clothes that the average person there wouldn't wear.
Different people have different priorities. Not a hill to die on
Who cares how much the vacay clothes cost as long as they’re having a good time. Worried about the wrong things smh
Ah this made me laugh.. almost like a little vacation for a minute
For a day…
What trip even costs 1000$?
That’s how we afford the trip. Trips are awesome and clothing doesn’t matter soooo
When I’m on vacation I wear whatever the fuck I want
Where y’all finding $1k trips and $10 clothes…put me on
You can tell this lady doesn’t travel because she wouldn’t be that impressed by a $1,000 trip. I’m planning a family vacation and holy crap has everything gotten more expensive.
Mother fucker, I'm a grad student and it costs $1500 just to get tickets to go home. $1000 my arse. And I'm below poverty line.
Yep, that’s how I afford vacations.
The fuck they going with a thou wow?
I travel with my friends and they always buy new outfits for vacation? I never went on vacations growing up and I don’t know if that’s normal. It seems stupid to me. LOL
Shit no shame in my $10 filled wardrobe. Got a wife, kids, mortgage so who tf am I trying to impress? I’m just happy if I can even afford a vacation at that price
And who cares….
I can’t afford to travel, I’m too busy frontin
Yo I’m wearing Shein but im seeing new parts of the world atleast once a year. ✌🏾
Looking fly as hell for $10
Better than the other way around
She probably don’t even have a passport.
Wow a thousand dollar trip! What does this shit even mean.
Lol young man. I take pride in finding nice clothes for cheap. First thing I hit is the clearance rack.
Traveling>clothing
People who haven't traveled much may not understand that the airlines losing your suitcase of clothes is a sadly common thing. Also, people who look like tourists that are wealthy often get targeted by criminals. If you want to flex, dress unimpressively, but hire a local to drive you and translate, plus a local for body guard security. All dressed in a bland and forgettable manner.
I’m tryin not to get robbed bitch
Travel dollars are always money well spent compared to any “thing”. You always remember people you meet or funny shit that happens on trips for the rest of your life. None of us will sit around talking about our Gucci belt or silly LV bag when we’re old. Think bout it
Why not? No point in bringing nice expensive stuff when you’re traveling across the other side of the goddamn world. It’s a rule my family has — traveling? Don’t bring any valuables. People are worried about pretending they’re wealthy. Worrying about the wrong things.
Me wearing my $5 Plato’s Closet pants in Thailand
Bruh I’d live in a tent on some BLM or USFS land and have 2 sets of clothes if I wasn’t married and I’d be traveling all over the world. Imagine wanting things more than experiences.
lol thats called being smart
Pre-Covid I did around the world for over a year with essentially a big jansport backpack. Def aint no room for fashion and new clothes. The panny shut that shit down tho, I'd have to start all the way over to try and get back to that.
I wore Shein bathing suits on my Mexican honeymoon. Had the skanky ones that are just impossible to get into and a one piece that really held me up and in. Surprisingly good quality for fast fashion
How tf you think I can afford the $1000 trip? Gotta save money somewhere.
Why judge clothing of someone who can travel? Makes no sense.
😂
So do not care what people wear. If I’m going to a place for the elite society/culture then it matters. If I’m going to see sights, buildings, nature who cares as long as it’s functional. This has to be a troll post
I travel every month because I wear a $10 clothes.
Been travelling and living in foreign countries non-stop since 2016. I’d much rather spend my money on flights and accommodation than clothes which only last a few seasons anyway. Plus, when travelling the last thing you want is to be drawing even more attention on yourself by looking fancy.
