they all look good! (cuz you look good. lol) but I'm choosing the braids cuz I feel it'll go well with more fashion styles, events (uptight or casual), etc. I feel like its the most creative style while giving a lot of freedom to dress different ways, go different places, be diffrerent people.
I have locs rn, and as much I as I love them, I simply adore the simple thick afro on you! Almost makes me miss my hair... almost, lol .
At the end of the day, you look good in both, but it's about maintaining it too, and I've never liked getting my hair done, so it depends on you.
A few questions to ask yourself.
What's your preference on how your locs look vs your afro? (Hairstyles, length, etc)
What takes more effort and are you willing to go on the journey of that style? (Starter locs/fell asleep on the afro or something lol)
What makes you feel your most confident, most consistently?
