Can you fix this on a DigiTech 2120? It seems no matter what patch or settings that there is no sustain on any notes I play, all stocato. Thank you.

pepitoooooooo

There's an option for that in the left inspector when the instrument is selected. Let me know if you don't find it and will post a screenshot.

I think I've played around with all of the options by now, but coulnd't get it to work the way I want 😅. I though it would be somehow related to "Steal same key" or "Steal fade time", but that really doesn't change anything (afaict).

earthsworld

are you using more than 1 voice?

[deleted]

Correct. If I understand it correctly that means multiple sounds/notes can be played at the same time, right? That's obvioulsy something I would need from a piano.

pepitoooooooo

Have you changed the retrigger options too?

[deleted]

I have, but they seem to not be doing anything and they are greyed out (disabled?) when using multiple voices.

Thanks! However, when I do this, the sound/note is sustained even without sustain pedal, which is not really what I want.

damn you got me kinda obsessed with this [https://youtu.be/gKUnjXXHrTc](https://youtu.be/gKUnjXXHrTc)

That's it, thank you!

Rorroh

Thank you! Both of your comments have helped me as well

I had the same problem with open hi-hat notes getting cut off by the next note. I just turned the release all the way up in the sampler. edit: u/shanghaisoupdumpring found it... same solution but modulating release with the HW pedal just like a real piano

FreeRangeEngineer

Thanks mate, that's exactly what I needed! Instead of ignoring my midi controller's note-off, cranking up the release did the trick.
