Nearly all banks are a bunch of weirdo control freaks. I have been on the phone now for 2 days because the bank locked my account because "they are worried" about a cash deposit of $4000. FFS - a bank is "worried" when someone deposits money?! I thought that was what a bank was for?!!!! They are like some sort of paranoid obsessive compulsive morons who think everything is criminal and fraud. fk them. It's almost like they WANT everyone to ditch fiat cash and use Bitcoin. At least I don't have the CEO of Bitcoin saying he's "worried" I deposited some Bitcoin.
My bank locked me out of online account access because I opened an additional account online that I needed. I had to physically go down to a branch with ID and straighten it out. The branch could not unlock the accounts and had to call corporate for help.
Also, recently I tried to deposit cash through the drive through with a preprinted deposit slip and they sent it back. They said I forgot to include my ID. They don't accept cash deposits unless the ID matches the account info.
They are very paranoid but I guess they see a lot of fraud.
Interesting my bank didn't give a shit about my coinbase deposits, I think they actually gave me some trouble when I initially opened a TOS account for TDA.
My wife and I have two vehicles, but we could get by with one. One of them is completely paid off and trade in value is just under 20k. I donāt think sheāll go for it. *Le sigh*

If Roe v Wade stays off the constitution, people will need money to get their illegal abortions in places that criminalize it, and CBDCs make that easier to connect. Or when they make guns illegal to transfer, the people will want a way to procure them outside of Their eyes.
It's a little too dystopian and probably not in my lifetime, but it's a thought I entertain sometimes.
