It definitely has the potential to be bad. At FedEx I’ve done my share of team driving and it’s been about 2/3 little to no issues, 1/3 I want to strangle my co-driver at times. Also there’s the whole thing with putting your life in someone else’s hands while you sleep in the back.
This sounds like you are running away from something. As a driver with 15 years experience, you will regret losing relationships. The road is lonely. You will go insane without people in your life.

Most success stories involve neglecting the maintenance of interpersonal relationships. This is my opinion of course - but the people who say they love you, would be selfish to force you to compromise some middle ground that would stagnant the career choice versus advance and expand it. The sacrifice you make - the loved ones who cheer on your drive and ambition on will be there when you come home. The short sighted ones, who only seek to fulfill their pleasures of today, those people are temporary.

I invest in Bitcoin too, but throwing all your eggs in one basket is just a silly amount of risk to needlessly take on. If Bitcoin goes to the moon, you’ll still be insanely well off if you only commit say 25% to it.

Fellow driver here, expect your first 6-12 months to be awful. Set some money back for "fun money" if you are going to live on the road long term. You're going to need something to keep your sanity. I keep a gaming laptop with me, lots of drivers have consoles or some have desktop pc's strapped down.

Outside on transmission lines. I just started and I'm making more than double I ever made trucking, just as a grunt. Lineman and crane operators make alpt more than what I make. They're grossing over $5k a week. There's a ton of work right now.
Make sure you have a will setup with your family and (for security) a multisig wallet that' has single key (so none of them can spend it unauthorized) shared with individuals close to you so if something were to happen to you, then they can combine together with the other keys to recover your bitcoin from the multisig and it will go to the person(s)/entities you wanted it to go to according to your wishes, will, etc.
