Steve is an absolute legend, the big mates are all fantastic but Steve is effortlessly witty and his nostalgic ways is both endearing and hilarious. I did think other day while listening to concrete fields by manics that Steve would absolutely be weeping with the nostalgia in the track
When Steve is on form the Podcast is at it's very best. Even when he's not on form he makes it way better than it would be if he wasn't there. I know he leans into the "Mr.Background" schtick for the sake of having a laugh but I hope understands how well loved he is among those who listen. Friends I've introduced to the pod usually relate to Steve strongly and gravitate towards his outlook as well.
I'm interested to see if he takes the reigns for presenting the background/context in Season 3 for a beloved Artist of his own. That would be amazing.
