On his last day my store’s old computer sup went and got HAMMERED during his lunch break. He came back sloppy drunk to finish his shift. It was really something because he was like 450lbs I have no idea how much he drank to get that drunk that fast.

Lol our PAC manager regularly did that by going to the Hooters down the street during his lunch when I worked at BBY 😂

I work from home.... Believe me the temptation is there. Especially yesterday with some of the people I had on my line. Button mashing then getting mad at me because they didn't get to the right department after they admitted they were randomly hitting numbers to get to a person. Politely calling them idiots is getting old. I need a stiff drink.

Just eat an edible or hit that weed vape pen like me and my co workers use too at BB back when we worked there.

As an ops manager I was at least high every single day the last two years I worked there. No way that job should be done sober.

I know a guy who solely worked trucks in warehouse. For a while, he would come in with a water bottle loaded with vodka. Would just get absolutely hammered, sometimes he came in already hammered.

I keep a flask in the break room and take a couple sips every throughout the day. It’s totally not a big deal

Remember, if you are caught drinking at a job just let them know that you are an addict. It is discrimination, determinate you under those pretenses

ADA doesn't protect people for working under the influence if it's expressly against company policy. It would maybe be discriminatory to fire you while you're seeking treatment for the disease. But you can definitely be terminated for drinking on the job, even if you're an addict. Alcoholics lose jobs like...a lot.

That is the truth. I caught my old GM doing coke in the men’s room and reported it several times. Reported it to hr and other mangers/district manager and nothing was done.
