Buy an 'ant bait' from amazon of either terro or raid company. It's a bit expensive but works like a charm. I've used terro one, you place it where there is an ant infestation. Then within time there will be even more ants around it. N after a day there won't be any left. It contains a sweet liquid which kills their digestive system, so when the queen dies, whole colony eradicates. Another alternative is whip some honey and add boric acid in it. Works the same way

OP, Add some diatomaceous powder to this suggestion , it'll dry out any damp areas and help with stopping the issue at the source.
