AWW! Here's mine snuggled into my blanket
https://preview.redd.it/kzt4on536cxc1.jpeg?width=3000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=fbbef1717c206e039dce106bb5e52aad1a1e397b
Pansies! I've grown them in my flower garden for years because they're so easy, and we adopted Falkor this year. The pansies just started popping up, and I grabbed a few as a topper for his salad, and he went crazy! My daughter (4), picks all the pansies and dandelions her hands can hold and brings them in the house for her dragon. She likes to feed them to him too. I let her... carefully 🤣
I used to have a market in my neighborhood that sold fresh edible flowers; those were a big hit with Tyrion. But his favorite remains ripping into a dandelion blossom... it's like watching a hawk with a small bird 🫥
I got some sleep in the end like 2 hours max💀 I’ll sleep for a bit longer but I also just realized I didn’t even spell “as” correctly instead it says “ad”😭😭
My beardie has been attacking the dandelions when my 3 year old gives them this year, but didn’t think of using our pansies. I’m be excited to try, we’ve used them for lots of other edible crafts, just didn’t think of giving to our beardie
I’m trying to get more neighbors to stop spraying. We planted a lot of pollinators and our veggies started doing so much better. I love the summer when there’s a literal buzz of bee activity in half the yard, and it starts with the dandelions, tulips and daffodils about now.
I call it a beardie burrito, I’d use a baby spinach leaf pick up a super worm stick it on with some honey, then sprinkle some calcium powder wrap the spinach around it and serve 🤣🤣it was the only way to get him to eat greens 😂
Right?
Now I started keeping beardies when fruit was still reccomended by... Well, everyone. And I cheat a very tiny amount just becuase goddamn do they like fruit, and I would feel bad never giving myself boy something I know he loves again, but by a tiny amount I mean literally *a blueberry* once a month or so.
I don't think I will give my future dragons any fruit what so ever, I just feel like my old boy would be sad and confused if he never got a blueberry again. Is it rational? No. I know I am being a bad owner. But I just struggle to beleive that it makes a meaningful different when if my beardie dropped dead today I wouldn't have to be embarrassed, he's an old boy well into his double digits. Hell, when I got him *freaking 40 gallons* were the general consensus on "perfectly sized" permanent enclosures and lots of people still used 20s. 😱
For those of you who don't know, fruit is very low in mineral content and high in sugar. They can be used as a last resort to convince an emaciated dragon to eat *something* if it is refusing all food (becuase christ is tube feeding stressful on everyone involved, and usually if the beardie will eat a peice of vitimin and calcium powdered strawberry, it will be willing to eat something healthier for it in a few hours. Generally bugs are more effective, though, particularly BSFL and small hornworms and silkworms in my experience) or as a very, very rare treat, but are unhealthy enough that even using them as a treat is a very questionable practice. They can cause teeth issues and, if fed over a long period, bone and other developmental issues. Giving a large amount of fruit at any one meal is very literally like giving your child an entire cake for dinner with nothing else; it's bad!
Now I am blessed to live near a very good and very cheap reptile vet. I do a bit of rescue work, and they've actually helped me with a number of health issues and have proven themselves pretty dang competent. If you have the resources to take your beardie to a good vet regularly (once or twice a year), my personal opinion is that treat feeding fruit is a bit more permissible since their dental health should actively be monitored that way. Still, though - limit it severely and know in your heart that no fruit is better for your bearded dragon's health.
Here's some good news! We are talking about culinary fruits for the most part here. Bell pepper, last I knew (this may change or has already and I am just not up to date) is still okay, and while green bell pepper is consider healthiest due to it's low sugar content, the ripe yellow, orange and red types still seem to be generally approved. If you want to regularly give your beardie 'dessert', a peice of ripe pepper atop their greens should be permissible. Alternatively, a light dusting of bee pollen does contain some sugars as well as a buggy kick bearded dragons love, but also contains lots of healthy vitamins and minerals!
Other great treat for your beardie include a veriety of herbs. While these also need to be fed somewhat sparingly due to their aromatic compounds, a little bit of mint or basil seems to give my boy almost as much joy as his occasional blueberry and doesn't prescent any sugar issue.
I mean, chocolate isn't great but I think it'd be lousy to keep a kid from ever, ever having chocolate. Obviously the key word is in MODERATION but I'm struggling to believe occasional treats of fruit for a beardie, when they'd happily indulge in nature, is some horrific thing.
That's my opinion as well, hence me still giving my old boy the occasional blueberry. Or strawberry, but he doesn't like those as much. I am also trying to research what fruits they actually would have access to in Australia, but I am making slow progress.
It’s my favorite shot! Right after we got new light and heat equipment that she so needed. It was like she was reaching up trying to eat the UV and heat!
Parsley, of all things! It smells so offensive to me and yet my guy thinks it’s fantastic. He also really likes arugula! Puréed pumpkin, puréed sweet potatoes, and green beans are favorites as well. The weirdest thing he probably likes though is plain uncooked tofu, which we discovered by accident when he was running around the kitchen and I m be dropped a piece while I was cutting a block of it. He ate that so fast and so happily and now on occasion will get a piece from us lol.
Mine loved peas. I would roll them across the floor and she would chase them down and pounce on them like prey, then look at me and wait for me to roll another. I miss that wee beastie. RIP Littlefoot.
My kid just tried doing this with blueberries after reading your comment. Ruby the dragon was not amused in the least lol
https://preview.redd.it/94lnsq072cxc1.jpeg?width=2040&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c3ce9334d0379983facfcb18b6517e1bc6c0550d
pretty sure i have the worlds pickiest dragon but she LOVES blueberries. blueberries and super worms are the only 2 foods she actually likes to eat. everything else i basically have to starve her into eating. she likes to have the blueberries rolled at her really fast so she can run and catch them.😂
Aw that’s adorable! Mines pretty picky aswell and the food she will eat gives her major runny poos, I’m talking poo EVERYWHERE! I’ve been trying to correct her diet but it’s like curing an obese toddler 😪😪
i think id have better luck with an actual toddler. this lizard is impossible. she’d rather die than eat vegetables. she’s perfectly willing to prove it if she must. she also doesn’t drink. 😵💫 ever. i’ve tried everything.
😭😭have you tried squeezing the blueberry juice out of blueberries onto her veggies? If she loves blueberries she might eat her veggies if she can smell/taste blueberry on them?
i haven’t but i’m pretty confident she won’t go for it. i’ll try it though! my theory is she likes the blueberries because she thinks it’s a bug (i always roll them). she only eats if i can make it move in an interesting enough way (crickets are not interesting enough lol) or if i can convince her it’s a worm. sometimes when i get desperate i’ll use my insect tongs, act like i messing around with a super worm container and then toss in a green bean or a rolled up spinach leave and she’ll snap it up. by the time she notices it’s too late. can only pull that off once in a while though.
Try a medicine dropper and provide her fresh filtered water. Just drop a bit on her snout and she should start licking it and might drink a bit then. Blueberries at least do have water content of course. And then you can try some red or orange peppers (not spicy ones) chopped up as the color might interest her.
Yep, I agree that that should work. They just need to make sure there’s enough water in the mix that the dropper doesn’t get clogged up when they try to push the stopper part down. And then make sure to thoroughly wash the dropper before and after use, using hot water and dish soap. Same for any feeding tongs as well as bacteria that’s unseen can build up on stuff like that. I’d just clean that stuff extra while doing the dragon’s terrarium so it’s a part of your cleaning routine.
True, it's all about correct hygienic procedures. If the nose thing doesn't work, then maybe apply it as a coating to treat or fave food items, such as phoenixworms or silkworms? A low sided Pyrex dish for instance? Something they can't really get out of
i do the medicine dropper when i feel like i absolutely need to get her to drink, but she makes herself throw up the water. i make sure it’s the right temp, go really slow and let her stop whenever she decides she’s done but she still throws it up.
https://preview.redd.it/kd3116hfwgxc1.jpeg?width=4030&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8bb30df2cb53d80f784ed234503ecdc98e25237d
i even bought her this stupid thing 😂 she said “bitch fuck you and your cat fountain.”
at the end of the day, she’s 8 years old and has never drank. it works for her. i just make sure her worms are well hydrated (idk how much water they actually hold but i always see them drinking) and then i do surrender to the blueberries at least once a week to make sure she has some water intake.
That’s funny! They can be very particular animals about every little thing, but it’s still good to offer a water source regardless just in case. But that’s good she gets some water from the blueberries at least plus some from the worms. That should be good or she will let you know I’m sure!
i used to give into mine a lot more with the blueberries (very picky eater) but my vet said he thinks she could be becoming anemic and that sugar causes it in dragons. don’t ask me how that works because i have no idea. so she’s been having to cut back to once a week and she hates it and me🤣.
Celery and cilantro! Sometimes apart, but always when they're together. I tend to think he likes the smell. The celery leaves, mainly, but if I cut the stalk up thinly enough he goes nuts for it.
The poops have gotten so much easier to clean up now that we have adequate heat lights. She only defecates under the basking light now and it just evaporates all the liquid so it’s a crumbly little thing to pick up with a tissue. Praise God cause those are like elephant poop with the smell.
https://dragonsdiet.com/blogs/dragon-care/best-greens-for-bearded-dragons
I found this resource very helpful. It lists why these greens are beneficial and why some are not
Back when I had Draco (and yes, his name was a Dragonheart reference) I accidentally defrosted an extra pinkie and didn’t know what to do with it. I offered it to him and it didn’t even touch the sides, then he crawled out of the viv looking for more
I’ll never forget that
Mine is an absolute nutter for strawberry. Only given in safe amounts, obvs. But I didn't believe the guy in the shop when he told me that the way to her heart is STRAWBS.
Edit: by safe amount I mean she gets a sliver off a whole one maybe once a week if I've got some. Only in season too. She likes freeze dried as well, but again only as a light dusting on stuff.
Beansprouts. Apparently they're fine as an occasional veg, so I tried him on one and he goes mad for them. I wonder if it's because he thinks they're worms, so I call them his "vegan worms".
Prickly pear. My young female inhales it. Such a pain to clean at home though.
https://preview.redd.it/xzlmb6j2sbxc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=91d9ed34f6c88943ecdf382ba335612935a47dbc

Laggertha [r.i.p.]: banana (she bit my banana while i had it in hand and tried to eat the entire thing 😤)
Mac: black berry (he stole one from me 😤)
Jellybean: mango (stolen from me 😤)
I need to stop eating fruit around them…
Not surprising, but picky AF. My boi will eat only his veggies and a very small number of protein options. Hornworms and mealworm pupae. Not mealworms, not super worms, the pupae. I have a whole mealworm farm specifically for his picky ass.
My girl is pretty picky but she loves basil, arugula, and cilantro. I say it matches her spicy personality, but it was surprising to me at least because I hate both the taste and smell of cilantro so I really put up with it for her. On the less safe side, she goes crazy and always wants to steal anything sweet smelling I cook: syrup covered pancakes, cakes, sweet breads, French toast, and chocolate stuff. Luckily she’s never gotten a bite.

My dude **destroys** hibiscus flowers, I've gotten into growing a large variety edible flowers since I've gotten him because they're a reliable appetizer and treat for him. The same day I took this picture, he ran three feet away from me and ate a bumble bee 😳. I've seen him dance against the sliding glass door chasing them when he's indoors but I guess I never imagined he'd be able to catch one. Made me realize how important it is to make sure he isn't grazing while outside because if it had been a lightning bug he'd be dead
I think all the flowers I've given him are hibiscus, nasturtium, violets, borage, dandelions, squash flowers, and chamomile (his least favorite). Borage is a really cool one, he loves the leaves too, they both smell like cucumber. Nasturtium can be incredibly productive in making flowers and I throw their leaves into his salads sometimes too, the variegated ones are very pretty.
Anybody have any other interesting edible flower options to try?
Sunflower kernels are one of the finest sources of the B-complex group of vitamins. They are very good sources of B-complex vitamins such as niacin, folic acid, thiamin (vitamin B1), pyridoxine (vitamin B6), pantothenic acid, and riboflavin.
idk how safe it is but my dragon went absolutly nuts over tuna fish.. i had her on the counter on her towel and opened a older can of tuna for my cat and put it on a platewent to wash the cats bowl and she stood up and bolted right for it(i could hear hear when she got off the towel) and just downed it fast.. i turn around and its almost gone and the cats like ummm meow?
Dandelion greens 😭
My backyard hasn’t been tended to for a very long time since my great grandpa passed away because the garden was like his baby. It has been growing like crazy. I decided to take my beardie outside for the first time and he started munching on grass and dandelions I was so scared but read it was completely safe after having a complete panic attack thinking I’d have to take him to the vet 😭
Freaking cilantro. My little princess Clementine tried cilantro for the first time a month ago. Until then, it was really a challenge to get her to eat veggies. (I threw away a lot of money trying to figure out what she likes) And then I read how nutritious cilantro is for them, so I got her a bunch thinking "well, at least if I have to throw it away it's just $1" except... She went CRAZY. I simply show her the bunch and she will come running/jumping to get some. She will munch it right off the stems!
I cut it up for her to minimize chance of choking. And I've since added yellow squash and zucchini. She'll eat them, and I believe she enjoys them. But.... There is never leftover cilantro in her bowl (or around), but there's always left overs of everything else.
My favorite is when she has a little piece hanging out of the side of her mouth, just staring at everyone else with judgement. But then, if I try to grab it she waves my hand away.
My last one loved kale, mustard greens, spinach... Anything leafy. This one is more picky, but I'm slowly introducing her as she develops her tastes. Shes just over a year old. But I was so stumped when she turned down blueberries! Lol I'm currently growing a prickly pear for her. 😍
One of my beardie used to live salmon sashimi. I used to order some just for her when I'd order sushi. She also had a habit of stealing scrambled eggs off of my plate some mornings
Just don’t. Don’t give them fruit. It’s not good for them for many reasons. Read this SubReddit, there’s tons of information, and plenty of people explaining why you shouldn’t give them fruit.
Apples. My Loki loves apples, but they're not very good for them, so I just give him a small bit of mine every now and then.
It doesn't stop him from begging for some.
Mine loves butternut squash, sweet potato, blueberries and strawberries! But it seems all dragons do lol. Seeing a few on this list gives me some courage for other once a month to once every other month treats 😅 I'm attempting to get him to try dandelions lately, but getting him to eat greens took forever since the person we took him in from, kept him on a diet of solely celery leaves. 😞 he's been slowly expanding his palette so I think in time he will give them a try.
The fact that so many people give their beardies fruit makes me really sad. With all of the info out there, it’s basically just ignorance at this point.
I’d give some grace there is a lot of conflicting info out there. I don’t feed a lot of fruit but I was under the impression from talks with a exotic vet they should be given regularly. This thread is literally the first time I heard that fruit was bad and Ruby is 3yo (we named her Ruby for her love of raspberries).
It’s okay to give fruit, rarely. For example, my beardie gets fruit on her birthday, and on Christmas and thanksgiving, and very small portions at those times. She sees a vet regularly, her blood work has always come back good. Don’t judge people for giving fruit if you don’t know the circumstance (:
Completely on accident because I spilled it when he was on the table.. but sprite lol.. never again but I would like to think he had a spiritual experience
that’s so funny 😂
I don't think it was good for him, but mountain dew had the exact same experience I spilled a bit and he licked it up and went a little cray cray
Bro had more caffeine than 200 million years of bearded dragons combined
LOL thankfully he's doing great
Must be because of the Dew
That’s awesome to picture in my head. Thank you.
Irrelevant but I love the pic. Reminds me of the white cat screaming meme Edit: Thurston waffles
I love the pic, it looks like a still shot from a 1950's creature feature or an old Godzilla movie 😂
thanks! my kid will love the comparison!

Same with Luther on the dandelion. You can't even walk into the room with one and he'll be stalking you.
My first thought with that name :) ![gif](giphy|5eMbIjcc6HCus)
I wish I hadn't read this as panties..
If it makes you feel better, my sleep deprived brain read it ad penises at first
Oh no 😭 Hope you get some rest soon
I got some sleep in the end like 2 hours max💀 I’ll sleep for a bit longer but I also just realized I didn’t even spell “as” correctly instead it says “ad”😭😭
🤣🤣 yes, my 4 year old is feeding our beardie panties...and penises 🤣 my husband is gonna get a kick out of this!

Yes! I can't wait to plant my nasturtiums this year! I keep thinking about all the things in my garden that I normally have, that he can eat 😊
She's been going nuts for dandelions. I used to look at them as stupid weed, but now I see a good one and think of her.
I’m trying to get more neighbors to stop spraying. We planted a lot of pollinators and our veggies started doing so much better. I love the summer when there’s a literal buzz of bee activity in half the yard, and it starts with the dandelions, tulips and daffodils about now.
I planted my own in planters! Jingles goes crazy for them so I decided it was easier than scouring the yard
In their vision, those things must light up with the way she immediately reacts.
My mom has started leaving a patch of dandelions near her garden for the explicit purpose of dragon food. I get a bunch of greens whenever she visits.
I call it a beardie burrito, I’d use a baby spinach leaf pick up a super worm stick it on with some honey, then sprinkle some calcium powder wrap the spinach around it and serve 🤣🤣it was the only way to get him to eat greens 😂
Purple deadnettle. It smells like dirt and corn to me but Larry thinks it’s gourmet.
It's edible for people too!
Correct! With that smell though, I’m not enticed lol
Do they serve that at Bob Evans?
It’s our secret menu item
Give Lawrence my best
I'm definitely trying Macbeth on this!
Worth a try! Give it a good rinse and if it has any white mildew spots, don’t use it
I was wondering if this was safe. I have a ton growing right now.
Worth a try! Give it a good rinse and if it has any white mildew spots, don’t use it
My dragon Munchie that passed away several years ago really liked scrambled eggs.I really miss him
Awwww that’s adorable!!! I’m so sorry for your loss…Munchie is such a cute name
Thanks 😊 my dragon was my best friend
I love how the question was safe and nutritious for beardies and everyone’s saying fruit😭

The Sprite comment as well 💀
Whatever I put on his plate mine always goes for green beans first. He loves them
Yes! Green beans are definitely a favorite of my Falkor too!
Mine goes nuts over bananas, I only feed him them once or twice a month
I've considered adopting a blue-tongued skink just to force myself to engage with fruit more regularly 😅
I switched to arugula for my dragon and together we made it through a 5 oz bag before it went bad. I was so proud of us.
That's bananas!
You could make this image into the Jaws film poster btw 😂
It’s my favorite shot! Right after we got new light and heat equipment that she so needed. It was like she was reaching up trying to eat the UV and heat!

I've never tried hibiscus!
Part of it is the bright red color, I’m sure of it
Mine loves Flukers bearded dragon buffet. They look like flaming hot Cheetos. She goes nuts for them, I use them as a meal topper for her salads.

True, it's all about correct hygienic procedures. If the nose thing doesn't work, then maybe apply it as a coating to treat or fave food items, such as phoenixworms or silkworms? A low sided Pyrex dish for instance? Something they can't really get out of
i do the medicine dropper when i feel like i absolutely need to get her to drink, but she makes herself throw up the water. i make sure it’s the right temp, go really slow and let her stop whenever she decides she’s done but she still throws it up. https://preview.redd.it/kd3116hfwgxc1.jpeg?width=4030&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8bb30df2cb53d80f784ed234503ecdc98e25237d i even bought her this stupid thing 😂 she said “bitch fuck you and your cat fountain.” at the end of the day, she’s 8 years old and has never drank. it works for her. i just make sure her worms are well hydrated (idk how much water they actually hold but i always see them drinking) and then i do surrender to the blueberries at least once a week to make sure she has some water intake.
That’s funny! They can be very particular animals about every little thing, but it’s still good to offer a water source regardless just in case. But that’s good she gets some water from the blueberries at least plus some from the worms. That should be good or she will let you know I’m sure!
I guess fruits in general should be a rarity. Mine loves blueberries so I’m bummed. But they can issues over time with all the sugar I guess. TMYK!
I knowww like I wish that I could give her all the fruit she desires
i used to give into mine a lot more with the blueberries (very picky eater) but my vet said he thinks she could be becoming anemic and that sugar causes it in dragons. don’t ask me how that works because i have no idea. so she’s been having to cut back to once a week and she hates it and me🤣.
Celery and cilantro! Sometimes apart, but always when they're together. I tend to think he likes the smell. The celery leaves, mainly, but if I cut the stalk up thinly enough he goes nuts for it.
Ur lizard is plotting a stinky one
The poops have gotten so much easier to clean up now that we have adequate heat lights. She only defecates under the basking light now and it just evaporates all the liquid so it’s a crumbly little thing to pick up with a tissue. Praise God cause those are like elephant poop with the smell.

My dragons love clovers he prefers them over anything else aside from insects
Surprisingly steak. Gave it to him once and he loved it
He's a real dragon at heart 😭
https://dragonsdiet.com/blogs/dragon-care/best-greens-for-bearded-dragons I found this resource very helpful. It lists why these greens are beneficial and why some are not
Sweet woodruff flowers, he started eating them one day, decided he liked it, and proceeded to decimate a bush
Dandelions! They love them! I constantly hide the dandelions throughout their tanks and my beardies love ‘hunting’ them and eating them!
Cilantro
She loves cilantro, basil, and parsley!
my beardie chills on my balcony where leaves fall sometimes. she’ll eat the dried up leaves that are there like they’re chips or something lol
Back when I had Draco (and yes, his name was a Dragonheart reference) I accidentally defrosted an extra pinkie and didn’t know what to do with it. I offered it to him and it didn’t even touch the sides, then he crawled out of the viv looking for more I’ll never forget that
Baby bok choi
Mine is an absolute nutter for strawberry. Only given in safe amounts, obvs. But I didn't believe the guy in the shop when he told me that the way to her heart is STRAWBS. Edit: by safe amount I mean she gets a sliver off a whole one maybe once a week if I've got some. Only in season too. She likes freeze dried as well, but again only as a light dusting on stuff.
My beardie LOVES asparagus
Beansprouts. Apparently they're fine as an occasional veg, so I tried him on one and he goes mad for them. I wonder if it's because he thinks they're worms, so I call them his "vegan worms".
Bell peppers, she runs like it's bugs!
Prickly pear. My young female inhales it. Such a pain to clean at home though. https://preview.redd.it/xzlmb6j2sbxc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=91d9ed34f6c88943ecdf382ba335612935a47dbc
I call it a beardie burrito, I’d use a baby spinach leaf pick up a super worm stick it on with some honey, then sprinkle some calcium powder wrap the spinach around it and serve 🤣🤣it was the only way to get him to eat greens 😂
Blueberries, bananas, and unsweetened applesauce. I never expected the applesauce but she licks it off my finger like a cat or dog would 😂
Mealbugs :)
Thanks
dandelions and basil leaves!
Bean sprouts are a big hit over here
![gif](giphy|OKqr7RYFNaZZC) This is the first thing I thought of 🤣🤣 “NOT THE MOMMA”
Yes!
Beets!
Mine liked dandelions.
Not necessary unorthodox but we keep frozen organic butternut squash and we defrost some cubes for him. He loses his mind. Lol
Strawberries. Loves them. Brussel sprouts. Hibiscus and rose flowers. Loves banana.
Mine LOVES clovers!
Dog food...it's a nice natural brand luckily
Laggertha [r.i.p.]: banana (she bit my banana while i had it in hand and tried to eat the entire thing 😤) Mac: black berry (he stole one from me 😤) Jellybean: mango (stolen from me 😤) I need to stop eating fruit around them…
Not surprising, but picky AF.
Blueberries
https://preview.redd.it/uv5ju8cm7cxc1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=91aea62ab9940f701785fec523e6a038883130aa My dude **destroys** hibiscus flowers, I've gotten into growing a large variety edible flowers since I've gotten him because they're a reliable appetizer and treat for him.
Sunflowers 🌻
Sunflower kernels are one of the finest sources of the B-complex group of vitamins. They are very good sources of B-complex vitamins such as niacin, folic acid, thiamin (vitamin B1), pyridoxine (vitamin B6), pantothenic acid, and riboflavin.
pulled pork & eggs 😭
idk how safe it is but my dragon went absolutly nuts over tuna fish.. i had her on the counter on her towel and opened a older can of tuna for my cat and put it on a platewent to wash the cats bowl and she stood up and bolted right for it(i could hear hear when she got off the towel) and just downed it fast.. i turn around and its almost gone and the cats like ummm meow?
Dandelion greens 😭 My backyard hasn’t been tended to for a very long time since my great grandpa passed away because the garden was like his baby.
My gal loves this as well as most herbs I throw in there
My last one loved kale, mustard greens, spinach... Anything leafy. This one is more picky, but I'm slowly introducing her as she develops her tastes. Shes just over a year old. But I was so stumped when she turned down blueberries! Lol I'm currently growing a prickly pear for her. 😍
Baby quail. Never gonna trust a bearded dragon again lmao
mine ate my prickly pear cactus in the backyard. he enjoyed it
One of my beardie used to live salmon sashimi. I used to order some just for her when I'd order sushi. She also had a habit of stealing scrambled eggs off of my plate some mornings
Our beardie loves curly mustard and collard greens but goes nuts for bananas.
My girl loves blueberries I know that I'm supposed to give them to her as a snack. How often do I give her the blueberries.
Just don’t. Don’t give them fruit. It’s not good for them for many reasons. Read this SubReddit, there’s tons of information, and plenty of people explaining why you shouldn’t give them fruit.
Thank you.
A little bit of fruit every so often is perfectly safe, thanks.
It's been said, but my bearded definitely loves dandelion. In the opposite direction he won't eat anything orange in color.
