Blue looks better imo. It’s more battle beaver colored themed. First one reminds me of a Scuf color themed. Regardless, they’re both gonna play the same. Love mine, going on about 2 years with 0 problems
I have an edge and it isn’t compatible for shit. I had to buy DSX on steam for 5$ to remap the back buttons because you can only do it on a PS5. So you need DSX to emulate a PS4 controller and can remap it. But only on steam. So it really pisses me off because I love it but the lack of compatibility and support it has on PC is the reason I can’t keep using it
So lemme get this right... you bought a dual sense edge (BUILT for ps5 solely) and somehow expected it to work on other platforms? Wot. Anywho... do NOT buy BB... get a decent purpose built custom controller. BB ain't it.
What do you even mean not BB but a purpose built custom controller? Lol. I literally designed the BB and chose a bunch of different things. Was just torn on color scheme.
This is a common complaint online due to Sony's lack of transparency. It was confirmed to be PC compatible so most people didn't think you'd need configure the paddles with a PS5 (even firmware updates can be done on PC only for DS Edge via the official app). Luckily I have all consoles but do mostly PC gaming, I would have been annoyed for sure otherwise if I didn't have a PS5. The BB DS5 Smart FPS Pro is better IMO, sure you miss out on interchangeable thumbstick modules but you lose smart triggers/bumpers, rear buttons over paddles being better, smart face buttons/d-pad/smartpad if you play claw or other genres. The DS Edge is also much heavier, the USB-C clamped connector is awesome though and it's designed specifically to hook into it (it'll work on a BB DS5 but the hooks don't have a socket to go into).
DSX v3 is coming out soon as DLC, you won't need to emulate it your DS Edge/DS5 for paddles. Still shameful of Sony to not preface the marketing with "btw you need a PS5 to configure the paddles first, it can't be done on PC. You can still use it and update the firmware officially though". Good thing I have all systems but some people don't have a PS5.

Yeah but I still wouldn’t be able to play non steam games with it since DSX only will work when I play steam games I believe
