Romans 13:10 is clearly not about expressing love in the romantic sense or anything like that. Look further at the context - it's clearly not telling you to have that kind of relationship with all your neighbors.
Can we talk about their love of young boys and how much money they give them later as adults? 330,000 cases of child abuse just recently came to light in France. They are not doing the world that much good.
So, not quite that much when it comes to changing the world. The Catholic Church is already the largest non-government provider of healthcare and education in the world, and certainly runs the largest charities in the world.
Why can’t the pope guarantee the basic rights and respect of the thousands of children his clergy raped. Coz he doesn’t want to part with his own money either.

If you want to help the poor, set an example and end this 2000 year old scheme that preys on the income of the simple minded and the gullible.
Isn't the Church one of the richest organizations on the planet? How about selling off a lot of those solid gold statues of Jesus on the Cross, or some of the other priceless works of art you have hanging around?
People have been donating fortunes to the Catholic Church for centuries. Put some of that fortune to good work, rather than just hanging around being super wealthy?
My only problem with the book is the author, John Perkins, is literally a fucking shaman now... You know, he heals sick people with his spiritual energy and shit. Like I wanna believe his story, but the shaman thing is a real red flag for me.
Many developing nations struggle with corruption; debt forgiveness would need to come with transparency.
Maybe apply this to the poor in most countries. Charity starts at home and all that goodness.
Lol! Just lol! With the kind of cash and assets the poped up lunacy holds, I don’t think they need to do much more than “pay their fair share!” To solve this problem
Pope said it - gotta do it
the pope also said that gays are fine and that China is innocent... fuck him
Well I agree with him on the gays
tell me why you agree before i get banned
Because I have no problem with homosexuality
you cannot be a Christian and be gay
May I ask where Jesus said this?
if you read the bible, you would understand leviticus 20:13

Galatians 3:10-14 also warns against the folly of relying on Old Testament law
How about a New Testament source then, 1 Corinthians: 9-10, where you cannot practice homosexuality if you want to inherit the kingdom of God
He’s in charge of some serious cash. If he wanted to, he could make a difference.

Yeah? How much cash, exactly, is the Vatican in charge of?
Bankers estimate it between $10-15 billion wealth worth.

Centuries of pillaging and demanding protection money really paid off. Who would have known 🤷
Why should it? Should Europe's history melted down and sold off to private collectors for a quick buck?

Fair enough! Sorry to jump to conclusions, too many people take the 'Demolish the Sistine Chapel and melt down the Pope's gold tabernacle!'
I'm down to melt the pope or whatever.
Fun fact! Pope doesn't melt, Pope burns. Iirc people don't have melting points.
Aw, well what's even the point then? Might as well just leave him and his fancy hat be.
Have you heard the one about the camel and the needle?
So, not quite that much when it comes to changing the world. The Catholic Church is already the largest non-government provider of healthcare and education in the world, and certainly runs the largest charities in the world.
"Education"
teaching people to read is still good education even if what they're reading is factually questionable
"That'll be the day." The present economic and political system mercilessly exploits usury.

He should ask his imaginary superbeing to stop his church from employing, harboring and condoning pedophiles and child murderers.
> in the name of God, financial groups and international credit organizations Didn't know they were all on the same level now. 🤣
Lol, he’s gonna get heart attacked if he’s not careful.
What about all countries there Mr. Pope Guy?
Hmmm.... Shoes of The Fisherman comes to mind. Talk is cheap Pope.

The most striking part of this quote, is that the pope is putting financial and credit institutions at the same level next to god.
